This non-communication is inexcusable and very unprofessional. It is already more than 2 weeks without any kind of an update. This has the stink of a scam I'm sorry to say.

i don't understand why you guys always ask for new version f.t higher speed. the majority of miners are using Claymore's app. If your speed improve by 10% for example, other miners will get 10% also. End up, you will get the same amount of zcash. You won't get any benefit out of new version except for higher difficulty.

Most of us don't make huge profits mining any coin, but we like messing around with it. I think that's one of the biggest reasons.

For Flypool encrypted stratum port is different.
3443 (Encrypted stratum is currently only supported by the Claymore miner)

Example: ssl://us1-zcash.flypool.org:3443

I see some posts that V8 reached hardware limits and there is no way to improve speed anymore. It's not true.
I'm working on new version with another good speedup, though it takes more time and efforts.

And whats the point?? High temperatures, more electricity and same profit, cuz all are with the new miner. Your new versions are not helpful, do you know that?

My miner does not support Linux, Nvidia, CPUs. They will not get any speedups from my miner.
Though I'm ready to stop development if most of people think so. It's not a problem for me at all. Make a vote somewhere to see results.

Claymore, there are plenty like myself that appreciate your efforts. I stopped mining a couple of years ago and started in again with your miner for eth-sia. I then switched to the ZecMiner ver 1 and now using v.8. My cards are RX 270s now with new life. I'm not a big player but am enjoying the game. You deserve your dev fee, period. Keep up the outstanding work, it is a pleasure to use your miner.

so can anyone land a hand here please?  i've only been mining a little while, so the problem isn't too big; only ~7-8k coin in the orig wallet,  hate loosing things tho

can i just manually import the wallet.json file and send them to myself?

[/quote]

I'm new to Sia myself and had the same problem. The wallet just hung up on me. I deleted the cache file and re-installed the wallet and it started working again with my SC intact.

Only 3 BTC till 1 sat, damn. Lets hope there is _some_ news soon to push DGB up a bit (don't want a pump), because I really don't want DGB to drop that low.

With all the hashrate DGB got in the last week, you can be sure that most of those that helped get to block 145 000 won't hold this coin. they will dump no matter the price to get back to the coins they have in their portfolio. Sad but it happens, DGB is now a multi-algo (first to switch from single algo), dev just need to continue their great work and things will keep improving.

I've seen a few posts here and on Twitter alluding to DGB being the first to switch to multi-algo. Myriadcoin was the first, DGB the second.

The BlocksFactory pools running solid since I started mining Digibyte with sha256 and Qubit immediately after block 145000. Solid and well run with absolutely no issues at all.

I got my S3 batch 4 yesterday and got it online this afternoon. Running for 6 hours now at 440.78 GH/s on Slush's Pool. Wattage at the wall is 357.9. Relatively quite and putting out about as much heat as a Block Erupter Cube. I couldn't find the IP address in my router, so I used a program called ipscan and found it. Set up 3 pools for failover, disabled the beep and Bob's your uncle. I'm using a Corsair 850 with just two plugs at the rear. Easy setup, no x anywhere and a solid performer. Early delivery to boot. Experience is excellent so far. Looks like a good idea to order another.

Can you PLEASE host the windows wallet somewhere other than mediafire and put it on the first page?  Downloading with Chrome is impossible since it reports that the file is malicious.  I'm sure plenty of interested people have gone to download it and just don't bother after getting that report in the browser.

Ok, I do not think it is the host (mediafire) the problem, but I put it in a different location. It is zipped so it should not have any problem with any browser.

Chrome doesn't like a lot of programs related to coin. Just use Firefox and no problem.

Anyone know why it says

"Not staking because you dont have mature coins"

When i have mature coins with over 750 confirms?

anything special i need to do for staking?

please read previous page, this question is answerred many times!
bottomline, you need a reasonable amount of sync and 1000 confirmations

1083 confirmations/0.52 SYNC/"Not staking because you dont have mature coins"/wallet updated/wallet is unlocked about 6-7 hours - what am I doing wrong?  Wink

I think you need 1 sync + for staking

Thanks for info. Will close my wallet then... have only 0.13

That's me as well. The problem is, I sent my meager stash of Sync coin to MintPal over 4 hours ago and it has not arrived yet. It has left my wallet though. Can anyone tell me how to find my property?

Hey guys, what can we do to get more miners back to the multipool?

Well, I'm back. This afternoon I set my ASIC miners up with over 130+ GHs churning and burning. Can't see squat. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'm mining something. Everything is stable from my end.

Re: PBmining - legit?

None of that applies to a 5 year mining contract, since they are under contract to continue to provide the hashing power for 5 years whether it is economical to do so or not.  This is simply basic math, the total proceeds from hashing for the entire 5 year contract come to be less than what it costs to purchase.

I don't think that's correct.  The current cost of a gh on PBMining is 0.0056.  https://tradeblock.com/mining/a/702307c1fb

It's profit by August forward.  Assuming current BTC price remains constant.  This is better than holding.

(Assuming not a ponzi for the purpose of this discussion only.)

I've already explained the apex where mining is worth more than holding, but you need a value around $4,000 for that to work out.  Which isn't likely.

Nevermind, I think I see why people buy these things, they don't get basic math.  According to the calculator YOU linked to, 1gh/s purchased at 0.0056btc will never return 0.0056btc.  Ever.  I do see where you made your mistake, if you run the calculator starting in April it will eventually return more than 0.0056btc.  But of course April is already over.  Starting now, since pgmining doesn't seem to offer a time machine on their website, you can expect to get around 0.004 btc back by August.
Regarding your second point, you keep saying that if the price of btc goes up it  makes this a profitable move.  It doesn't.  Obviously the dollar value of the btc you get back would go up in value, but then so does the dollar value of the cost you paid.  One last time, paying 0.0056btc now to get 0.004btc later is not a good deal!  And makes no difference what the btc is worth in dollars.  But Im a very generous person.  If you think it is such a good deal, I promise to give you 0.004btc in august for every 0.0056btc you give me now.  Any reputable escrow service you wish to use.

The dollar value of the cost I paid does not go up. It remains the same. If the BTC I am mining goes up so does my profit. Perhaps you need to re-think your argument. It is flawed. According to you, no one mining is making any money. What would happen if everyone stopped? If I listened to people like you, I would do nothing but purchase coins. Then what? Without miners, you have nothing. So get over it.

Paying 1 BTC now to get 0.5-.6 BTC later is a losing move.  It doesn't matter what bitcoin does, it can go up, it can go down, it can stay exactly the same as it is, you willingly, of your own free will, gave them money now, to get less than that back at some point in the future.  It doesn't have to be a Ponzi scheme, you lost money on this deal either way.

I don't happen to agree with you. The Bitcoin I spent on this mining contract costs me approx. $435. If, for the sake of argument, the price of Bitcoin goes up to $600 or $700 or higher, the value of the Bitcoin I am mining goes up as well and it becomes a much more attractive value. That is simple arithmetic. Maybe PB Mining is counting on this as well. According to everything I read, the general ongoing acceptance of Bitcoin worldwide and Wall Street's new involvment, I would say that's a given. Only time will tell. So far I have not lost a dime. I am certainly making more on my investment than a savings account, money market fund or the stock market. If, and it is a big if, I get ripped off, I will deduct it from my taxes and move on. I don't feel like playing the safe game. It gets you even less.

Unbelievable. I read this whole thread all the way through. I bought a contract with PB Mining for 200 GHs just last week. No one has presented any proof, but circumstantial evidence sounds interesting. Could be a ponzi scheme, but could also be legit. I have not heard anything about what will happen if the price of Bitcoin starts to go back up. How does this look with Bitcoin selling at $1000.00 or more a coin? Surely on a five year contract they would be counting on the value to climb, we all are. There is a lot of money involved now. Money can be traced these days. There is always some kind of paper trail. It looks like I'm in for the long haul now. I guess I will keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.
