Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed[Bittrex/Poloniex]GPU Released

Just wanted to say that whilst i think the new name vote is much better, the duration of it is really bad. Not everyone scans these forums like their life depends on it - please give the vote more time to get a wider range of responses.

I understand it needs to be settled quickly, but its just not long enough to get maximum feedback.

Re: Final [BOOLBERRY] Rebrand Vote - Ends Sept. 30th
by

I think sticking with Boolberry but putting more focus on BBR is the best option here.

Too many people have fallen in love with the current name, but too many newcomers dismiss the coin based on its name alone - ive lost count of the number of times ive seen people "lolling" at BBR because of its branding in that hell hole that is poloniex troll box. I really dont see how that can be ignored.

Modifying the brand to simply state bbr instead of boolberry next to the current logo would be straight forward to do. Id keep everything else the same including domain name etc, just take the focus off boolberry where-ever the brand is most visible, we all usually type the name as BBR anyway.

BBR Ciphers i feel is a nice compromise so gets my vote.

Hopefully this doesnt continue to drag out for much longer and it can be wrapped up soon which ever way it swings.

rename orbis  Grin

Orbis as in Orbit as in "to da moon?"

more likely "to da rune" looking at the votes in the other thread... :/

The three name you posted are even worse than boolberry.

If you want to change the name, at least ask the community about the name "Rings". It's the one that make the most sense. Though from what I understand, the problems seems SEO... But is it that big of a reason to avoid the best name for a CN coin?

Truly rings beats all 3 available options. Even if you're a total newbie and got only superficial knowledge of CN coins it immediately reminds you of the ring signatures. Besides being explicitly linked to core cryptography of the coin it also sounds good. I feel like rings should have been among the options to vote for.

I think "RingSig" would make more sense from a SEO perspective allowing everyone to then use the terms "Rings" as shorthand.

I dont understand everyone wanting to go for Rune or Vortex as a name. Its like someone just came from playing a session of Mortal Kombat and decided to grab a few words out of the playing manual.

Im going to vote for "Secore"

- firstly because its the only name that looks like it was picked based on any actual substance, technical background or thought - and secondly because as something a little more abstract it cant be related or confused with anything else.

At least with Boolberry it was something interesting - the other 2 choice are just so drab i cant begin to express how shit i feel they are - absolutely zero relation to what the project is about and has ties to weird mythical/druid/time travel...great...

People need to stop mining...im now earning less than half compared to only a week ago! Smiley

Dont understand the dumping going on over at polo - it seems to be heavily manipulated over there by just 1 guy with buy order totals going from 250 BTC to 60 BTC in the space of 30 seconds.
Holding for a few months at least to see where things go, feeling very confident about BBR atm.

"Status: Loading blockchain data..."
Connections: 0
Height: 0
Current difficulty: ---
Current network hashrate: ---
Software version: ---
Exchange rate: ---
Always like this.  Cry
I used new wallet

Firewall?

Nah, im getting exactly the same thing.

Old wallet was fine - just updated via the installer and now it wont connect. just says "status loading block chain data..." (even though i was fully upto date on the old version) and the exchange tab also is receiving no data.
I removed qt-boolb.exe from firewall, re-added it in and still nothing.

Windows 8.1 here.

My god is crypto FULL of impatient CHILDREN!!

You all complaining sound SOOOOOOOOOOOO fricken ignorant and childish, expecting miracles and perfection overnight.  You INVEST in something and expect your investment to double over night.......go find a pnd scam coin and roll your dice on them.  Whether this coin succeeds or fails it had LONG term plans and if you put any of your fucking money into this, you invested in a long term project and if you invested with other intentions or expectations, you are just a dumb ass.......plain and simple!

I honestly dont think its about people expecting miracles over night man - well maybe for a few, but most people are just kinda fed up of seeing pretty much nothing happen and being unable to express their frustration. No one can even try have fun or make light of the damn thing - the official thread is a snooze-fest and has to be kept clearn for relevant information at all times and basically their is none.

The same quotes from the devs seem to come time and time again too - how many times have we heard them say theyre going to update us on the moolah stuff?

They've got 1250 BTC lined up in IPO funds? - thats $600,000, yet it sounds like these guys are all still trying to hold down a day job its insane. With that kind of income lined up these devs need to literaly put their money where their mouth is and go all in on this if its that good. Pour their hearts and souls into it,18 hours days, going at the damn code and PR like machines - bearing in mind they have a lovely little pre-mine too so they can likely make a ton more cash on that front if they do things right.

Ive dumped half my investment (bought as the price fell from 500 downwards) and thankfull managed to recover those loses trading VIA and BBR. I may buy back in at some point but there seems very little point as it seems nothing is even close to utilising these unique features that SYS has - and if no-one or nothing uses them then they may aswell not exist.

Not sure why you think you deserve an appology?

I simply stated that i never saw any buy support and ive been following it actively since the 2nd day of launch - not once have i seen a buy wall of even 1 BTC at a single price point on any of the exchanges. Maybe i missed it, maybe i wasnt looking hard enough, maybe it never happened, maybe its slowly still going on -  i dont know, i was merely commenting on @koreans question.

So what if he wants to bail ?

Whats up with the price bros

Did we do the 250 BTC buy support yet?

I think we should just do that soon, so that people who complain about price can exit out and then we can focus on development.
you know they already put buy walls up..so why ask..and you seem to love etheruim what ever you call it.. you get what 1500 for 1 bitcoin WOW..hope that does well for you...we will see ..now that is risky if you ask me..not saying it wont do well ..but syscoin not dropped by half..and those who buy now they got a great deal....i hope and pray lol lol

Please just leave this thread. I did not bring up Ethereum at all, now you are attacking my sig. Did I invest in Ethereum? No. Do I love Ethereum? No. I hold no Ethereum at all.

I just wanted to bring that up in my sig so that the Bitcoin price will get lower and I will get cheaper Bitcoins.

Respect other peoples decisions and do not make judgement on it. Your assumptions are invalid and your comments are generic and don't provide any value. Cryptocurrency is inherently risky.

The thread got too big so I don't follow in detail. I don't know if the buy support happened or not. It's a simple question, no need to get all defensive and attack my sig. I'll report you next time if you continue to talk in this manner.

Not quite sure what manbot is flying off the handle for here lolol!
Apparantly there was buy support early on - but honestly i failed to see it. Not sure when or where it went on as there was literally no more than 20 BTC of trades being done on Bittrex and no more than 10 BTC on cryptsy per day/avg for the first few days - they must have been the only ones buying or laid it all down from the moment it first hit the exchanges.

I think merge mining was a big mistake..look at the  diff and the price now...
I agree with you. People are merge mining doge and litecoin as a primary and syscoin as secondary.

Its better in a way though because theres less "pressure" on them to sell it at these low prices because its not their primary focus?
If your a miner why cant you just adopt this aproach and sell your doge and purchase more SYS with those earnings it if your aim is to hoard some coins?

Has SYS taken a look at this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762346 SuperNet ?
They're only looking to take on coins that are unique and bring something new to the table and i think SYS would fit this perfectly?

Could be a great opportunity if it was to become part of the coins that make it onto there.

Block Number 17484 has been discovered by NewMinerGuy with a total value of 143.06467836 SYS!  on http://sys.lifeforce.info.  The current difficulty is 152.68438296.

Is this the regeneration fees being added back in?

cool: 143 coins per block

Plus we're currently giving away an additional 10 coins to block finders!

(see signature)
Had 3 blocks in a row over 155 coins per block at minep.it, great that its now working and NOT CRASHING every hour like before!!!

Whats the highest block total been on the network to date do you know?

Difficulty is definately starting to shoot up - funny, people would have been better off mining at the lower block reward / difficulty levels than now - Diff gone from 30 @ about block 17,00 to 180 currently.

Anyone having issues moving funds into Bittrex?

Transferred 9k as a small test from cryptsy to bittrex this morning and nothing showing on bittrex side?

I can see the TX on the explorer here: http://blockexperts.com/sys/tx/b3759d7193b0de7093e1eb70c19a7947fe07305ea3c8dd8f467a8740e939910e but aside from the fact its showing no confirms i dont know what to make of it?

Cheers.
Same thing happened here. Looking at the Bittrex site status showed this:
Delayed   SYS   15956   8   31 minutes   08/28/2014 11:51:07

Bittrex just synced up to the current block.

Where you seeing that info rayday? See nothing in pending deposits still here
