How to select the gpu? I sometimes need to turn off one of the GPU for other purposes. The original nemos batch file had the option, not sure if we can do it for the forked blaze nemos miner. Thank you.

@milsys, have you figured out why nemos is picking the 3rd or 4th algo instead of the profitable one? Seems to be in ahashpool24hr only. I switched back to zpool and it's working fine.

Been having some issues with ahashpool24hr. I switched over from zpool24hr to see the profit difference. Now, the miner is picking the 3rd or 4th algo instead of the most profitable one on top (I have read the same issue from the previous page). Already did a stat and benchmark reset to no avail. Also, miner stops after doing an algo switch. I literally had 4-5 hours of uptime without the miner running, only the start batch file is up. Anyone having the same issue and managed to fix it? Thanks.

Hey guys, anyone having issues with Ahashpool failing benchmarks with Nemos? I did a reset and now I can't run the benchmarks for the algos. Not sure what's wrong.

Nemos, do you have ps files for 9 series cards or any recommendations will do? I've got a 960 lying around. Perhaps I can use it together with my 1070.
If the mining won’t run on 960 you can reduce intensity. Do this by going in to the various miner .ps1 files. Alexisminer for example has several algos where you can reduce it. You will see -i 21, reduce this to 19 or so. Should work on 960.

If you want to avoid reduced intensity on 1070 also then run two separate nemosminer, one for the 1070, then in another folder one for the 960.

Yeah I was trying to avoid the intensity of the 1070. I was confused how it would affect if I have both of them in. I thought they'd share processing power which in turn can mine better with the same or higher intensity. Thanks for the input. Smiley

might be a dumb question but how would you update nemosminer from a previous version. I have download the 2.3 and if it start it it will run the benchmark again. Is there a way to install the new version without running a benchmark or without typing my info all over again in the bat file?

You can copy the stats folder and bat file to the new version. It should be the same unless stated otherwise.

which pool are you using can you send me a screen shot of price error?
my 1080ti's are doing $20-30 each a day atm...

Miningpoolhub
960 atm: http://joxi.ru/DrlNBWQFvo0V42
2x1080ti atm: http://joxi.ru/brRLKxlhJPY762
Those 5$ and 40$ were corrected after loading pool stats.

Did you mean "my 1080ti's are doing 20-30$ each day atm"? Because 20-30$ from one 1080ti seem too good to me. Or am I doing something terribly wrong?

Hey densm, what settings did you modify for the 960? I have a 960 lying around but I'm not sure which configuration I need to go through. Intensity, difficulty, algo and whatnot.

This has probably been asked sometime ago so apologies for not being able to find it. Anyway, how can I add the x17 Algo in awesome miner for zpool? I have added it but somehow when I try to run a benchmark it just would not start (using different miners). Can anyone shed a light? Thank you.

Nemo, could you change the script so that it doesn't try to load pool stats forever in case the pool fails to return them? Just use the existing stats instead. See below for the issue:

Loading BTC rate from 'api.coinbase.com'..
Loading pool stats..
Error contacting pool, retrying..

Loading BTC rate from 'api.coinbase.com'..

Loading BTC rate from 'api.coinbase.com'..

This currently prevents the script from changing algo. It also spams api.coinbase.com even though there's no need for that.
started to work "A Hash Pool". the problem disappeared. Nemo he is not guilty of this

The pool is mining just fine but the stats API is down. Currently Nemo's script doesn't handle that situation well and ends up in a limbo where it tries to load the stats forever. It really doesn't need to do that. I was suggesting the script could reuse the existing stats and try again next time.

I just tested that this same issue also prevents the script from starting if the stats API is down. So it's not mining anything, it just sits there and tries to reconnect.

Agreed. I have noticed it when it started doing that so I had to check my rig from time to time remotely so I can manually restart it. Not sure which version it started and I tried to copy off some settings from sniffdog and from mpm but was unsuccessful since my experience with scripting is not enough. If anyone can help or with Nemos with it that would be great.

Has anyone had it stay on one miner for several hours?  Mines been on lyra2z mining zcoin for 10hrs now.  I'm running 2.3.ps1, did I miss a bug fix?

I have X17 on my 1070 running for straight 2 days and a couple of switches in between within the week. Not sure why the other miners (Awesome,Nicehash) doesn't have the algo but it's the most profitable algo selected by the miner for me under zpool.

For those having issues with zpool pool stats. Here's what I've used for the last 24 hours.

@Nemos, I'm having success using this code from sniffdog.

Zpool24hour.ps1 pool

try
{
    $Zpool_Request = Invoke-WebRequest "http://www.zpool.ca/api/status" -UseBasicParsing | ConvertFrom-Json
}
catch
{
    return
}

I am not entirely sure what this code does: -Headers @{"Cache-Control"="no-cache"} since I am not that familiar with scripting but I do understand some of it.

NemosMiner-v2.3a-beta report

I noticed this when running benchmarks.  It doesn't appear after benchmarks are done and it is running.  It appears to run okay other than the issue with lyra2z mentioned prevously.

Loading BTC rate from 'api.coinbase.com'..
Loading pool stats..
Loading miners..
Stop-Process : Cannot find a process with the process identifier 1260.
At C:\Crypto\NemoseMiner-v2.3a-beta\NemosMiner-v2.3.ps1:280 char:17
+                                Stop-Process $_.Process.Id  |  Out-Null
+                                ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        + CategoryInfo             :ObjectNotFound: (1260:Int32) [Stop-Process}, ProcessCommandException
        + FullyQualifiedErroId    : NoProcessFoundForGivenId, PowerShell.Commands.StopProcess

it quickly goes away and the next benchmark starts.  It happens after each benchmark and I believe the ID is different each time.

Cheers!

Same here. Happened with the first release but I just ignored it since the miner is working anyway.

The real problem is when it is checking for pool stats, sometimes it does not connect and messes up with the miner (if it's already been running). I have tried copying and editing the codes from other miners e.g. sniffdog, multipoolminer since pool stat update is working when I use those. Hopefully, it'll work. Smiley

Hi mate, i also started to use your progs, and think you did a good job.
Atm i have only 1 question and 1 problem.

I mine with 2x GTX1070 on 1 system and 1 on another pc, i have set with MSI afterburner the powerlimit to -30%. When it starts with mining a algo it goes well, but after switching to another algo most of the time my powerlimit does not work and it goes to 100% power usage, then need to set it back to -30% manualy.

Is there a way to set this up properly so it would stay at that powerlimit?

Which drivers are the most stable and give more hash at the moment, i am using the 378.92 drivers.

For everyone who might have this issue, i work on the computer while mining. and when the algos use their max hashrate my computer freesez the screen, so i manualy changed the -i values in the miners map for ccminerAlexis78.ps1 for example:
    "hsr" = " -i 18,20 -d $SelGPUCC" #Hsr
    #"bitcore" = "" #Bitcore
    "blake2s" = " -i 26,31 -d $SelGPUCC" #Blake2s
    "blakecoin" = " -i 25,31 -d $SelGPUCC" #Blakecoin
    #"vanilla" = "" #BlakeVanilla
    #"cryptonight" = "" #Cryptonight
    "veltor" = " -i 20,23 -d $SelGPUCC" #Veltor
    #"decred" = "" #Decred
    #"equihash" = "" #Equihash
    #"ethash" = "" #Ethash
    #"groestl" = "" #Groestl
    #"hmq1725" = "" #hmq1725
    #"keccak" = " -m 2 -i 22,29" #Keccak

hey mate try upgrading your nvidia driver from: 378.92   to any new than 384... its one of the requirements as stated in readme/instructions...
current nvidia drivers are up to 388.x
i just started using msi afterburner my self its working fine...

Best Regards
Nemo

Nemo, i have the same problem as this guy is having. Power limit seems to rise up after algo has switched. Goes up to whatever the algo needs, highest so far from my logs is 134 even though I've set the power limit to 70 in afterburner.

Anyone having problems benchmarking or getting stats from lyra2z? It returns a port 80 error for some reason. I removed it for the meantime. I'm using zpool24hr btw.

@Nemos - how often does the stats get updated? What's the interval? For some reason, it does not update even after 24 hours so I'm not sure if the miner is still mining the most profitable coin since the BTC/GH/Day is not updated.

Yes please fix nemosminer v 2.3 to work correctly with Zpool

Edit : all benchmark status failed but one equihash why is this ? all my drivers are up to date need help

 Try to monitor what happens when it switches pool and then post screenshot here. Maybe others can help. I did that with my 2.3 initial config.

Hello again. So I've tried benchmarking the 2.3 version but I can't seem to make it work correctly. For some reason it just stays on a single algo (12 hours) unless I try to restart the miner. I did a reset for both profits and benchmark and found out that when it tries to switch, it gives out this error.

Here's what I've got so far in ver 2.3

https://i.imgur.com/DOovBPO.jpg

It's working in 2.2.2 so I'm not sure if it's my connection/settings/pc or what. Hope it helps.

Same here, its stuck there...

Found the fix.

Under the Pools folder, edit the zpool24hour.ps1.

Look for this: $Zpool_Request = Invoke-WebRequest "http://www.zpool.ca/api/status" -UseBasicParsing -Headers @{"Cache-Control"="no-cache"} | ConvertFrom-Json

There was a | before the -Headers which was causing the problem so I just removed it.

I deleted my previous post as I quoted the wrong reply.

Yep for zpool only which Nemos posted a disclaimer. Not sure why it's not working with this one. 2.2.2 seems to work and awesome miner as well.

Btw, where did you guys get  the 2.2.3. I can't seem to find it in github.
