The only people with money to pump your coin back up have left you all holding the bags... Yet you think theyr is still a fighting chance...... So sad

How can you all deny the facts..its not going to happen stealthsend is your only hope and its not going to happen when its meant to and how its meant to if at all
how can you justify ignoring it

Dearest longandshort:

I am simply not going trust my financial decisions to someone who can't speak in sentences, or properly use a full stop, or who refuses to abide by any standard of ordinary decency when debating with people.

Your point about Chandran signatures has been addressed by the developer. While we wait for a confirmation, or a repeat refutation of your criticism from other reputable sources, I'm going to sit quietly, and stand clear of your fairly unpleasant verbal dysentery. Both my wallet and self-respect deserve no less.

If I lose money, I shall remember your less than magnanimous contribution to this forum, and be happy I lost the cash on my own terms. I won't make decisions based on someone who shits all over their tongue and then decides to speak to people.

Now let that be an end to it.

Thanks. But it appears your efforts were in vain because according to the fanboys everything had been cream and strawberry yogurt with the previous wallet download...

ILoveLamp - ignored, but Emilio... You could do better, buddy. Couldn't you?

Lol, he just posted it and you're still bitching. When you scream at your mother to make you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich do you ask her to chew it for you and spit it in your mouth like a baby bird so you don't have to take your hand off your xbox controller? You fucking dolt. The proper response would have been "Thank you, dev."

I fucking hate this thread. What a vicious, shitty little community.

Adios.

don't forget to tell your mom I left the money under the radio

"Maybe if you weren't such a whiny bitch people would acknowledge you." is a direct quote form your previous post, and is pretty straightforward example of dismissing newcomers, isn't it?

And I'm one of the people who needed direct intervention from a dev on this thread after having no success with a linux wallet. They discovered they had made a mistake, admitted it, and provided me with a solution, which I'm satisfied with. But that help was not available on the website. Glad you had first time success with a wallet. Hope you 'LOVE' that I didn't.

It seems I'll keep "my faith" on an exchange til somebody fucking realizes a working wallet, or at least a wallet, is a must. Even scam coins have readily available wallets. A persons wants to be part of some crypto-currency among hundreds of such, tries to download a wallet, no go. Contacts official twitter, no answer since 2 days! WTF?!

You're not even a good troll...  Maybe if you weren't such a whiny bitch people would acknowledge you.
Voicing obviously justified complaints does not constitute trolling, especially when there is no other place to really voice them. If you think dismissing every newcomer to XST in the most abusive, unhelpful way is good for the reputation of the coin then, speaking as someone who has a vested interest... Go to bed. Would you please.

Wow, such a hype about this coin: reddit, voting, long run, mintpal, etc. and still impossible to download an official wallet for the last 4 days. WTF?! I asked in twitter, I asked for a wallet here, and nobody seems to give a fuck. The only download option for the most hyped coin is some nobody on reddit with a questionable link. Put your shits together. Unbelievable...

This is a function of demand my friend. I have PMed the devs. I am sure they will add download links that allow more downloads per day.

P.s. it hasn't been 4 days....maybe 1.

1 my ass! Tell me of another coin that has such a problem. And the dev's account on twitter was already contacted 2 days ago! Shame, total shame!

Bit Share's software is a bit shaky, especially for linux - and there is *zero* guidance available on the website. No documents, or step by step guides, etc. But you're right, and I've been upset by this with XST. Releasing a coin without a secure, easy to use, or install wallet, which forces people to keep their coins on questionable exchanges for extended periods of time, does not inspire confidence in an investor.

This XST team, however, have been supportive, understanding, helpful, and have addressed my own concerns directly, finding a solution for my problems, and quickly admitting and rectifying any errors they may have made. I do believe they have the best interests of the community at heart. It's worth taking a breath or two and having some patience. This coin is worth it. I hope you don't feel this diminishes your concerns, as I share many of them. But it's a scrappy insurgency trying to do big things.

Keep the faith.

So what do we think is the next most likely move XST will make, short term? and what do we think the impact P&D'ers will really have on it over the next few days? I say we, but I really mean you. I don't know anything, the sum total of my wisdom is roughly 'buy and hold', and I'd appreciate some learned counsel, were it on offer.

Fucking moolah is putting a damper on my XST moon party.  Angry

I've been trying to get traction on an anti-moolah slogan, something like, 'Count on moolah, count your losses', or something like that. I mean that couldn't be more lame, but it sums them up for me, and I honestly don't know why people trust them to do anything at all, much less take their word for it when they say they'll work hard to make amends for their many broken promises.

I can't read the market, and I don't have great foresight or anything, but I knew in my bones that this mintpal V2 thing was set to be a damp squib. Maybe it'll give XST a bump sometime soon, but these moolah guys are just a hundred miles of bad road.

This is probably the disappointment talking. I hope they get it together and prove me wrong. Only I hate counting on them for good news.

MintPal launch in ~18 hours!  Hopefully, they don't screw it up this time!

I hope not either, but don't count on it. I started with full faith in the moolah crowd, but they have yet to honour a single pledge I've heard them make in public, to say nothing of those they've made to me. Anyway, we'll see. I'd like to be proved wrong about them.

While I know many of us are excited by the release of XST on to Mintpal tomorrow, is any one else worried that the exchange is now owned by moolah, who have - and this really isn't an exaggeration - maybe the worst service in crypto? Apparently, they have one dev for their entire operation.

Two examples I've noticed on reddit of their incompetence, the first posted only this evening:

1. http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/2h5sqy/my_dogecoins_are_being_held_prisoners_by_moolah/

2. http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/2etfxc/moolah_perhaps_the_worst_customer_service_ive/

What might this mean for XST? Nothing?

Re: How to profit from the upcoming NuBits launch
by

Number 2.

It has been confirmed that the NuBits network will have shareholders. Shareholders will be paid only in Peercoin. So Peercoin going back to it's per-announcement levels makes zero sense because as the NuBits network grows and starts paying out more and more dividends, more and more Peercoin will be used to pay the shareholders! In other words, Peercoin is going to be used for something far more than it ever has so far.

Also, for those who don't know what NuBits is about:

nubits.com is the site and countdown. All the information will be available there on Tuesday.

And this article gives a decent overview of the story:

http://www.coinssource.com/nubits-revealed-three-days/

What kind of a jump in price could we expect PPC to make? Is it too hard to tell?

This has stalled. Still stuck at 5%. 4 active connections to network.

Close your wallet then open again, keep doing this until it completing the sync. It take about 3 times in most case.

 Huh

Er, okay. This isn't very encouraging, though. Like trying to kick start an old car.

EDIT: The wallet now won't connect to the network.

Okay, I'm gaining about a percent with each restart of the wallet. It goes ahead a bit, but then rolls back to 5% and climbs. I'm at 7%.

Any idea what's happening? Surely this restarting thing can't be a serious solution to the problem.

You are in uncharted territory.  The tor definitely adds to the restart issue.  I'm sure the team is looking into it.  You obviously have their attention.  It took a few days when this was an issue on the windows wallet.  But as normal with this coin, they delivered.

Thanks for the reply. I do trust the devs, and they've been very helpful so far.

BTCwriter, this guy is a retarded asshole.
Yesterday he made several stupid questions that no one wanted to answer, I helped with all and then by a translation fail he told me to fuck off.
He also seems to be a weak hand stupid, better get rid of it soon

I said that when you called me a fudster, and a troll after, like, three whole questions about wallet installation, the answers to which were available no where else - neither the sub-reddit, nor the website. I could give two shits you think they're noob questions. What the hell did you expect? A devs understanding of proprietary technology?

If you think it's right to call investors, or potential users of a coin, weak and stupid because they don't have a high level of technical expertise, then you're going to have a lot of chances to take pot-shots at people, and, more generally, you can expect the coin to have limited adoption.

Kick me off the forum, don't kick me off the forum, it's entirely up to you. But be prepared to answer questions from non-technical users.

Also, don't call people retards. I have two friends who are profoundly learning disabled, and who remain infinitely smarter and nicer than either of us.

That's really great, thank you. It's Ubuntu 14.04 LTS - fairly vanilla install. Not much that could conflict with it.

That's essentially what we develop on and have already have a VM for it.

Can you try running from the command line?

Just navigate to the unzipped archive in a terminal and issue this:

Code:
./Stealth\ Qt

Then post your output.

In the terminal, I navigated to the folder where the contents of the zip file were unzipped, labelled 'Stealth-Qt-1.2.0.1-Linux$' - I typed:

Code:
./Stealth\ Qt

Terminal returned:

Code:
./Stealth Qt: error while loading shared libraries: libqrencode.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

'libqrencode.so.3' is definitely in the folder.

Am I being a moron? It's perfectly possible.

apt install libqrencode3

Great. I had to install two other files this way, but this worked, thanks. Wallet synchronising now.

Although it's been stuck at 5% since that post...
