Re: ₿ not going below 40.000 (probably)

No one can be sure about this. Bitcoin value might fall below 40K or even 10K. But if we see the past price movement of Bitcoin, no matter how much the price has fallen the value of Bitcoin has always eventually risen.

Re: Will central bank digital currency (CBDC) make bitcoin worthless?
by

No, I don't think that CBDC will be able to make Bitcoin worthless as it lacks blockchains and also makes comparing CBDC with bitcoin useless.

That depends on my child’s behaviour. If he does something inappropriate or disrespectful, as a parent, I make sure he apologises for his misconduct.

Re: It is possible to make a profit by trading

Yes. It is possible. In fact, a lot of traders make money from trading. However, trading is very risky, and without proper knowledge, traders shouldn’t trade. If you are a new trader, then you should step into trading with small risks and gradually improve as you get better.

Re: New money being printed
by
carolynpatterson

Unfortunately this nothing really new. The US Dollar like many other currencies is printed by politicians to cover any shortfalls in their spending. For the government there is no real incentive to work on a balanced budget for each year because they can just cover any problems with new money. We have seen this in the past in US with their debt ceiling, it looks nice on paper, but in the end its not binding. Even though politicians should have different opinions from different parties, they work together on this. This is also why crypto currencies are so successful, the more money the central bank prints the more we looking for alternatives.
True! More the central banks are printing money, the inflation is increasing and the prices go up. If the prices are going up then the extra money printed is also worthless.
That is the reason for people opting for alternatives even though more currency is being printed.

If Mr. If Satoshi Nakamoto is out there, then he must be very proud to see the growth of the crypto market. It has been growing at an exponential rate and the change is happening which he/they wished for. Let’s cherish that and be part of this revolution.

You can start with Youtube. There are plenty of videos that will give you a basic idea about cryptocurrencies. There is a free course by Simplilearn on Youtube that can give you a basic idea about the cryptomarket. You can even check coindesk. It is a website where you can find beginner to advanced articles on cryptocurrencies.

Am I the only one who finds amussing the idea of satoshi using a Newbie account to participate in a discreet way and lurk to see if his beloved community is behaving and has evolved the way he wanted it to?

I don’t think he’s got time for this but I can imagine how great it would be if one day we realise he’s one of our forum members, and we’ve been interacting with him all this while.

There’s no such trading platform that can save you from going into losses. Instead of going after interactive charts, tools, indicators, learn to improve your skills. I use mt5 with finprotrading and I think it’s enough. Everything else depends on my trading skills and not on the platform.

Re: WHEN DO YOU BUY BITCOIN?
by
carolynpatterson
on 31/12/2021, 03:53:27 UTC
You can buy bitcoin from the profits made through selling bitcoin, but even if your long term goal is to buy and hold bitcoin, don’t buy any altcoin unnecessarily without proper research. You should also have a clear exit strategy so that you can sell the altcoins at the right time and save yourself from going into loss. I prefer to buy bitcoins when there’s a dip. I don’t wait for the price to go very low but if it goes I buy some more.

Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated
by
carolynpatterson
on 06/12/2021, 04:30:35 UTC
Since Bitcoin is a decentralised currency, nobody can regulate it. However, it's access can be regulated to an extent by various governments to avoid frauds and its illegal use. For example, governments can introduce tough KYC approvals and bring strict policies related to cryptocurrencies, to regulate it indirectly.

Re: Is it safe to buy now?
by
carolynpatterson
on 25/11/2021, 05:22:07 UTC
The general criteria is to buy when the market is at its lowest. However, it is difficult to assess when that will happen. So, there is always a risk. Buy it when you’re ready!

However, when you buy, make sure you buy cryptocurrencies with proper fundamental analysis. There are trusted cryptos like Ethereum and Bitcoin, which are safer than the others to start.

Both are beneficial. However, there are some differences. Trading can help you make quick profits instantly if you have both the money and the skills to trade. Investing is slow, but there is a guarantee in it. You should calculate your trading needs and put money wisely.

Re: Bitcoin the king
by

For several years, Bitcoin has dominated the cryptocurrency market and has maintained a good presence. It is the oldest and most reliable cryptocurrency, and it has already established a strong market position. As a result, it will be difficult for any other cryptocurrency to overtake Bitcoin in the near future. Though many of them, such as Ethereum and Dogecoin, have great potential, however. I believe it will take a long time for them to reach their full potential.

Hodling is a very basic and useful strategy for traders to make money. It can be fruitful in the longer term. However, it can also be risky if you don’t invest in the right crypto coins. Analysis and research is critical.

Re: Don't ever quit your job to trade crypto.
by
carolynpatterson
on 23/11/2021, 04:58:37 UTC
A very basic, yet important piece of advice. Crypto market is a volatile market. Hence, leaving your job for it doesn’t make sense. Some new traders also borrow money to trade cryptocurrencies. They should avoid this. By doing so, they are increasing risk.

The best way is to start slow and invest in learning the concepts, and  only trade full-time when you have gained consistency.
