Hi All!

I tried Lolminer with rx 480 4GB in x16 slot, I got only 1.5/2.0Mhs either on windows, and Open Suse.
On HiveOs is can get between 10-15, it still weak numbers, but much better.
8Gb Cards works good.
Why I cant get this number on windows, or an other linux based system?
Can somebody help what I do wrong?
Thanks for the help.

Its normal because linux uses less recurses on the hardware, windows use background memory on each GPU and thats why it stop work there in resumen.

Anyone managed to get 20+ MH/s under windows? Most I can get is 3MH/s on my RX580 4GB card

months ago you should be mining with linux, windows is dead for 4gb cards

Well. I can confirm that in PCI-ex 16x slot even with 16x-16x riser speed is up to 28M.

Was a little mess with zombie auto tune on riser , but then set to auto seems normal.

in  my case its 15

tried it, wait like 20min and it made it, in my case mine put on autozombie at 12.5 the x16 card and go up 24mhz, we can tune up it manually and change the tune on zombie mode??

It is crazy that 4GB miners are getting that rate.  It'd be awesome if you could apply zombie mode to the 8GB cards and get higher hashrates too

I agree, it's insane, sadly my motherboard just have 1 x16 slot and six X1, i just can use that boost on 1 card

A picture speaks louder than words.

https://ibb.co/QcK0dQ1

but wait, how? i mean, i put mine on the x16 port and i got the same hashrate like using the riser, it take 10min to get more hashrate or what?

Hello i have some amd rx 580 4GB, it is normal that i am getting 12.5mhs? I know its due to dag size but it is ok that low? On etc im getting 30mhs as usual. Is there anything i can do to improve hash? Using win 10 amd 12.10.1 driver

its normal in windows, switch to linux m8, this is what im getting on hiveos rn:

guys the 4gb days are done with eth.
mine etc or beam or ubiq or other coins that require a less than 4gb dag
there is no solution besides going to linux or other non windows OS for a few more weeks at best

just move to a usb OS like hiveOS or other, its pretty simple tbh, i setup it very quick without any problem last week and 4gb are working there 100%

You guys with windows do know that 4GB gpu will work at full hash with no -daglim under linux based systems (like smos, hiveos, etc.) until the end of December, right?

i never used linux before, can u help me with that? i mean with some link of a good guide of what system i should install, how install the drivers in linux, and the underclock and mem/clock values is via CMD and not with programs like MSI afterburner right? i have my system tunned with biosmod and MSI afterburner, but i know how to change it with the batfile, but like more use MSIafterburnet to touch the fancontrol and that stuff. Thanks u in advance.

mmpos is linux and pretty simple.  Plus if 8 gpus or less its free.  Installs to thumb drive...dont even have to remove windows just dont boot to that drive.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088988.0

Ive got it running some 5700xts, 1080ti in a rig...no issue mixing either.

There are others Hive, smos, rave....im sure lots more.

allright thanks, i will try it and see how it works
