I have the same experience when I was a beginner. I bought an altcoin because I thought it could provide a good profit in time but I made the wrong decision. It has no value now. It thought me a lesson that I should choose a coin with good potential. I'm now choosing a well-established coin such as bitcoin and ethereum.

More and more countries are planning to regulate ICOs. China, Canada, Russia,... I think this in an development nobody can stop. Do you think it is good or bad that ICOs will be more regulated in the near future? What positive and negative influences will it probably have?

I think there will be more investors like professional managed funds or even retirement funds which will invest into ICOs. The prices for ICOs will then become even more expensive and make it more difficult to make profits for small investors.

Hold for long term is best thing to do for now, but we have to choose good coin that have strong fundamental,  like LTC,  EOS,  TRX,  XLM,  XRP,  BNB. in 1 years all these coin has potential  to raise more than 10x because the market cap still low and the price still undervalued. Second thing is keep patient waitimg for bull market is key to recover loss. 

What can be done to ease greed amongst investors ??

I think it is similar to any type of business. New altcoins will only succeed long term if they have a unique selling point (USP). I'd imagine that 99.99% of altcoins will never make money for anybody except the original creator(s). Those make pretty bad odds for the average person to be able to win. Innovation and security are two pretty important features that will be required in any new coin ideas

yes you are right, only bitcoins do not swap and others. meanwhile, many projects do it and they hope that by doing so it can increase prices. but in reality it was only a futile effort and detrimental to investors who did not know the latest information.

The power and popularity of Binance can't be questioned.

But about the chain, obviously it is run by a company (BNB) and that looks like a centralized chain.

Floors are using IEO as a tool to help their coins grow quickly. The majority of floors only allow participation in the IEO with their coins, which is a wise tactic.

This will be a long debate and whatever will be the developers find a way, there's always people that will complain and will say it's unfair on their sides. On the bounty hunters side, most will say that the investors should only dump small portion of their investments. And for the investors side, most of them blame the bounty hunters which is really irrelevant if the distribution to them has been around 1% - 5% or few higher than expected.

Of course, it is important to have a good working product or app, because the investor can see that this startup have an experience and enough skills to make this product better.

I'm already in loss and I'm not going to add more loss and take that risk into that hype that can also push me downwards. I won't invest with any coins that I have and sell it just for that. But in good choice, if you can avail that with some spare cash you can do that.

See to it that you can avail that loss if ever something goes wrong again with that choice of investment you have. Much better to avoid losses in the future, why not just buy bitcoin and hold it and stop riding those coins that are being brought up by hype?

I think that in the nearest future the time of bear market will end. All short positions will be closed and we will continue growing. As for me, I always invest on long term, it makes bigger profit than fast trades.

I think that is due to the lack of interest of the trading community in their tokens, so that the prices of their tokens are cheap or dead, creative ideas are needed that can guarantee the quality of these tokens, making traders attractive to buy these tokens, too many dumper in 2018 present to make the token teams difficult to improve the price of their tokens, so as a result they are absorbed by it all.

I think no need too much stable coins. Only a trustable stable coin is enough. In my opinion, trust is what makes this coin stabe. If we lose trust in this stable coin, it will no more stable. Like USDT a few days ago.

EOS is a really good project with great potential. It has a good team and I am waiting for next EOS dip to buy EOS. I think it can easily 2x-3x in a year.

I prefer sto's but for ico i am looking for deflation system.

Like % of some transactions are continuously burning. Also, a product that makes sense.
