At 1 ixc/block, 300 blocks a day, it's probably 4 years and a half left. It means the minting will continue till 2025.
Future donations will prolong the date of completion of minting of the 21 million ixc.

To those questioning the point....well this is kinda the whole point! A free market of blockchains, each with different purposes. Ixcoin will allow us to see how inflation affects blockchain based currency systems, and as BTC is the original, won't really have an effect on it's value. Way I see it, BTC is the base measure for all that will follow, as long as the original remains intact and uncorrupted it will serve as a measure of value.

I didn't realise IXC was still around - I thought it had died along with Cryptsy when it was its last exchange. Didn't realise that it was on yobit, cryptopia and coinexchange. I just bought a few. It feels almost like I'm holding some Denarius.
Cryptopia will start giving back coins from dec 2020 onward. Good news for you, innit ?
