Also lived long at my parents place (father, mother died when I was young) to save money and being able to develop my passions. But later realized I was also at home to continue to try to get the love/recognition from my father that I never got. A bit weird but also felt his partner almost, being his company to talk to, cooking, helping with his finances. Somehow I had grown into that role, but it was costing me a lot in personal development, assertiveness, self confidence as his view of me was that I was not that smart, bit of a loser. Looking back, wished I had realized this much earlier and became independent / split off in mind and physical location, much sooner than age 30
