Didn't something like this happen in the UK when a memory stick of health data from the health ministry was left on a train? I seem to remember a story like this.

The potential market for this product is huge if the white paper is accurate....healthcare is first to mind since they have tons of laws in the USA, UK, EU and probably elsewhere about how your personal health info is secured. Doctors or labs might email you health test results using Envilope's system, for example, and if  they accidentally send to the wrong person, they can vaporize it on the Envilope system  POOF gone and nobody is the wiser.

No, you get an account on their system and log in...you can use it just like any other cloud-type service. I saw a demo. It's as easy as logging into a site to send an email.

It is new. It's not just convenience. It's the aspect of control - think about it: you can control who is looking at the contents of an email even if they have forwarded it on to 1, 2, 3 or more people. You see who is looking at it and if you don't like that, you can vaporize it with the touch of a button. That's of great value for a lot of industries.

I saw this article on the Envilope website and it made me think of how many times in business people send emails to the wrong people...their features could saw a lot of headaches.

Looks like with this, you can track and actually see not just who your email goes to but who it's forwarded to. Like if you send a confidential email to someone and then they share it and you don't like who it's shared to, you can see that, and then vaporize or destroy it somehow so you get rid of the whole thing.

To me that's one of the most intriguing things about the project...and most exciting. They already HAVE UK approval. Just a question of branching out from there. It's proven and works. Nice.
