Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM???

The danger I think is not that ECN is a scam or fraud.  It's too high-profile and the actors too well-known.  Will they run off to Russia? Smiley  Where are they going to hide?

The problem is they bungled the launch.  This is VERY bad.  Eventually someone will decide it's a scam and go to a judge asking for a warrant.  They'll get it.  Ells will get perp-walked on international news.  He will have his pic on Drudge in handcuffs.   Then ECN will tank to .0000000001 BCN.  THAT is the danger.

If they can get the wallets on line VERY SOON, *maybe* ECN has a future.  But any hope of seeing a stable $1/coin by week 1 died on Nov. 1 when they launched a leaking ship.

They need to plug the holes... FAST. Yesterday would be better.  Or else the ship'll sink.

I had invested with them and i think they are not scam. So far so good but there has been some delays at the moment wishing they could fix it soon.

I note these articles:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freewallet
https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/freewallet/

If it's a scam, it's a REAL good one.

BTW some may note the team is in Estonia.  I confess to being ignorant and thinking Estonia was an eastern European country.  It isn't.  It's northern European.  They seem well ahead of the world in tech in a general sense in that they were the first nation in history to hold an election over the Internet.  I quote:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estonia

'Estonia is a developed country with an advanced, high-income economy that as of 2011 is among the fastest growing in the EU.[19] Its Human Development Index ranks very highly,[7] and it performs favourably in measurements of economic freedom, civil liberties and press freedom (3rd in the world in 2012 and 2007).[20] The 2015 PISA test places Estonian high school students 3rd in the world, behind Singapore and Japan.[21] Citizens of Estonia are provided with universal health care,[22] free education[23] and the longest paid maternity leave in the OECD.[24] Since independence the country has rapidly developed its IT sector, becoming one of the world's most digitally advanced societies.[25] In 2005 Estonia became the first nation to hold elections over the Internet, and in 2014 the first nation to provide E-residency.'

Started mining with minerd 1.5 days ago.  I have mined a grand total of .017 DGB.  Either my computer is in a class of low-end I can't quite fathom or I am doing something wrong.  Or both.

My minerd command line:

minerd -t3 -o stratum+tcp://s1.theblocksfactory.com:9004 -u catman.1_device2 -p

Any advice for the rank greenhorn here?
