There are posts on the first page of this thread where you will find comparisons to other projects and not only Zilliqa.
I can understand to miss a few pages when a thread is long but this one has only a few comments so far.
I would suggest developing a habit to read first at least 70% of the thread before posting.
Not only this saves you from many mistakes but there is a big chance that you will find something interesting and write a high-quality post because of it.
Back to the topic.
Elrond is a very interesting project and I ask myself why this thread caught almost no attention from reputable members?
Already a few months on the market and looks very professional. If roadmap would be delivered without delays we can find Elrond in top 10 on CMC very fast but still no attention from Bitcointalk community.
ERD is in the process of building, they are running testnet, by the end of this year there will be mainet. Be patient, ERD will be in the top 10 of CMC in 2-3 years, if they follow the right roadmap, I think

1/ VM factory. Elrond does not limit itself to only one VM, we can have as many as we want. More VMs, more languages, more tools, easier to develop the new best dApps.
2/ Technical analysis for the next VM/language which will be integrated besides IELE. More info next week, when the integration is finished.
3/ Nodes Coordinator implementation in preparation for rewards and rating management.
4/ IELE VM is further optimized, by implementing left hand side tree verification on the generated K rules. When finished, this will bring important processing optimizations.
5/ Wrapped the node's REST API with pprof routes to allow us to remotely monitor the resources used and find possible memory or goroutine leaks.
6/ Bugfix / feature add gaslimit per miniblocks and developed a termui-based console implementation for a better interaction with the node.
7/ Improved components documentation and requirements, done polished integration tests.
One week of their hard work, I believe they will succeed if they are still on the right track. Hard work will bring sweet fruits of most powerful blockchain!

Lol, hope it's not just a hype created by the admin of the coin to get a lot of investors onboard before they carry out their scam activities. I am talking base on experience because I am a witness of a platform called starcashx that created an hype in their coin driving the price of the coin to $5 and later dumping all the coin they own in the market making the price of the coin next to that of shitcoin.
Always be patient - be alert, I have also learned many very expensive lessons in this market.
