Virwox

That's old school though.

I think there are probably better methods available now.

I know Virwox, but when I checked it out today it seemed really odd. I guess ill use it if there arent any better alternatives. Does anyone know any other?

Re: Gambling problem

That's why it is very important for addicted people to keep them busy in some other activities to stop thinking about gambling.

There is actually some rehab that rehabiliate those who are addicted to it so you could always choose to do it yourself or to put him in some rehab though that wouldnt matter at all because to cure addiction of gambling, someone needs to suffer first and wake up from their dream. By suffering, I actually mean to lose ton of money from gambling

I've been trying to quit poker for quite some time now... I almost never deposit anything, I just play good freerolls and then grind up a big bankroll but then blow it playing too high stakes. Its not the money that im losing but I just feel really sad after playing for 20 hours then going broke.

However I think occasional social gambling is fine, since it can be a lot of fun whether you lose or win. Social, because usually good friends will force you to stop if you start tilting and betting more than you can actually afford.

Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal?
by

I really do hope BTC will rise one day and replace PayPal. Atleast I don't have much trust on PayPal to do p2p transactions, and the fees are too big. Unfortunately I do not think that the cryptocurrency that will eventually replace PayPal will be bitcoin. Bitcoin is good for now as a form of investment and currency for the 20 million users or so. I think bitcoins fees will go up and code will need to be changed for it to replace PayPal.

However I think some new cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum (maybe?) have a chance in taking over, since they can improve the code and bring new features to new coins. In my opinion the smartcontract system which Ethereum and some other new coins use is going to be the future, rather than bitcoin. This is because bitcoin cannot handle the same amount of transactions PayPal does right now. Also fees would go through the roof if bitcoin would replace paypal.

Thats just my 2 cents though, who knows what will happen  Smiley

Re: If u Will Know Tomorrow World Has an End!

I like to not think about the end of the world but I would probably do just like everyone else  Grin . Gather all my friends and family and spend all my money on something nice that will amuse me for the last day of Earth. Though I can't ever see myself being convinced the world would end unless many news channels and authorities posted about it.

Sure sounds like you aren't going to pay the winner, since u are not even giving out the name of the website in the thread... Escrow the funds and you will get people to make you very nice logos for sure.

Also would suggest giving out some kind of color themes and baselines to what the logo should look like.

Anyway, I hope you are legit and provide escrow service!

Re: The safest wallet?
by

To store bitcoin, I print 4 copies of heavily encrypted paper wallet and store it in 4 safe different locations. Its almost impossible to lose my money to a thief too, since the encryption key is only in my head and my fiat bank deposit box.

I think this method is the safest method of storing bitcoin, though it can take some time to spend it, so I would only recommend it for cold storage, such as savings or funds to be spent on a later date.

Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble?
by
caxandra
on 09/01/2017, 00:00:34 UTC
I would most likely not gamble at all. It just wouldnt make sense since house always has edge... Maybe I would do something like sports betting or high stakes poker. PLaying poker or watching sports games with friends while having big bets in knowing losing wouldnt hurt would be cool. I would just spend my time traveling and doing business. But because im not rich I gamble occasionally at seconds trade for the thrill, thats why im in their signature campaign as well. The fun in gambling is that if I win I can do fun stuff and buy stuff I dont want to buy before. If I lose, its no problem since I gamble small amounts so atleast I had fun.

I hate to agree with the haters club but this is quite deceptive, specially the post stating the condition of the moneyback being just placing a bet on the winner/ Unlike the others I do like playing here and even have a VIP account but If I did follow the promotion "and I almost did" would be quite pissed if it turned out to require 2 bets instead of 1, At least make that clear without the need to read the fine-print and exact terms (and the previous one like this, it was clear it required 2 bets).

Are you ready to let an escrow hold the money or pay first Smiley

Answer will certainly be "NO" to both, I doubt someone would just trust a newbie out of the blue.

I guess I though I could get some 3 sats per coin on-top of the current active price so I PM'd OP and after going throughout the trade terms I saw this
Code:
Activity: 4

Alright, I found it interesting why someone have "more" activity than posts, so I did do a little research.

Bingo!

Check the quoted posts in the end of the thread,

Bough some "fake" BTC from amaclin's "Magic Doubler", BTC that would never ever confirm Smiley
Probably would depend on the trader not using escrow or a less-experienced escrow.

posting from fake accounts just registered to say that this is the greatest casino ever is really weak and almost everybody can see it clearly, Newbies just signing up to the forum and within 3 minutes posting their continuous praise *cough* *cough*

In addition your marketing strategy is beyond interesting, promoting the site in competing casino's.

Re: How Many Millions of People Use Bitcoin?
by

on 22/10/2016, 13:57:33 UTC
I guess if you count all the world the number should be between 5-6 millions overall, There are plenty of users in china, india and southern asia plus a good portion in US and canada, There aren't any accurate surveys right now but I guess it would be around that range overall.

I don't think the total number of coins can be lowered at all as far as I know, The total number of coins is pre-determined and the coins that appear can never disappear totally, There are some lost coins but these still count and can be seen in addresses.

Re: Bitcoin wallet in bank?
by
caxandra
on 22/10/2016, 13:55:44 UTC
I don't think that would happen mostly because banks don't want to take bitcoin and adopt bitcoin anytime soon, I think bitcoins is a money of the future and the banks would also take BTC in the future but not now... I guess a bank could be profitable if it's giving profit in deposits "in btc".

Re: Steady Way To earn Bitcoin Online...
by

Gambling is not a steady way at all, Trading can be profitable to those who are experienced with the market IMO but not that steady since every trader has some ups and downs in the market, I guess the most steady way is faucets and GPT sites but the profit is so low that it is even hard to consider it.

Re: PayPal receiving Bitcoin?!
by

Probably the same reason why PayPal doesn't take Skrill as a funding method, Them being a competition and in the exact same market PayPal is in right now, I also know they discourage using BTC in Ebay as well and only using PayPal, I guess that might change in the future though when bitcoin goes mainstream.

Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities?
by
caxandra
on 15/10/2016, 16:52:12 UTC
Why would the users require that in the first place?, With exchanges offering the users to buy and sell bitcoins easily and at low profit margin, Can't see a reason for a physical shop at all though and even those preferring physical deals could do peer to peer/ BTC ATM's exchanges rather than a shop.
