Thanks for publishing the leaderboard guys!

It is helping me a lot to find better settings for my bot to run, finally a way to compare with other gunbot users.

I’ve been experimenting with crypto bots since 2017 and most so-called “AI” options either faded out, pivoted to pricey subscriptions, or just broke when market conditions changed. The one bot that’s still on my server is **Gunbot**.

A few reasons it’s lasted for me:

• Rule-based strategies I can actually read and edit—no black-box AI. 
• One-time license, so no surprise renewals. 
• Still sees code updates and community chatter (latest major release was earlier this year). 
• Runs locally, so I’m not handing API keys to a third-party cloud.

It’s not completely hands-free / magic: you need to set pairs, manage risk, and keep an eye on exchange quirks. But it hasn’t vanished or doubled its pricing overnight like several “AI” services I tried.

Hope that helps anyone still hunting for something that hasn’t gone full SaaS or vaporware.

Wow, I ended up in a prehistoric thread and it looks like early days bot life was pretty tough.

My recent experience with Gunbot is actually just very positive. I use the channelmaestro strategy and it is honestly about as plug and play as a bot can get, it does serious profits too.
