Try it on your GPUs, maybe Santa will bring you some NXS (~11 at a time, as this is a solo miner that runs against the wallet. Be sure to configure the wallet with mining=1).
Merry Christmas everyone.
Would there be a precompiled one for Windows ? thx in advance
Windows binaries were posted on the #mining slack channel recently, compiled by third parties.

Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin: constellations POW *CPU* HARD FORK successful, world record
I am trying to load the cudaminer.sln in visual studio Commmunity 2013.. will this work. it fails every time so I am guessing not.. or maybe I missed a key step ?
the precompiled dependencies in the OP will only work for VS 2010.
You would have to build all the dependencies with VS 2013 if you want to use this newer IDE version.
I have been very sick for the past week and a half. Turns out I have mono ... apparently you can get it as an adult. I've been in and out of doctors offices and hospitals and just finally found out yesterday.
Hi! I've had the pleasure to deal with mononucleosis in adulthood as well. Liver and spleen suffer (the spleen will grow quite a bit) and it will lead to weeks of fever and feeling generally miserable. For me the first acute infection lasted 5 weeks. And the most lovely bit is that you can fall back into sickness later on because that sucker virus stays inactive in your body for the rest of your life - ready to hit you again when you least expect it (e.g. after exhausting activity like sports). The second time it hit me this lasted 3 weeks. yay.
I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery.

Time to raise the shields and to start munching on other coins' market capitalization IMHO.

I am a little worried about that debug LLP. Does it allow remote access to any full node?
Is it guaranteed there are no exploits (buffer overflows) in that code which would allow a skilled attacker to compromise running nodes (and for example steal wallet.dat files of various crypto currencies that happen to also run on said node)

It still only about covered my own electricity costs (three GTX 780 Ti's are anything but power efficient) - and now that it's no longer on Coin-Swap I have no way to recoup these costs. hmm...

I was happily scooping up all I could around the 500-650 sat range as I noticed the substantial increase in diff - up till early this morning when it disappeared off coin-swap, but a block explorer/more reputable exchange would be ideal I just don't think I'll get it that cheap hehe all good though
Difficulty on the CPU mining channel has dropped from the > 6.0 range into the 5.5-5.6 range. my hand-crafted GPU prime tuplet miner loves it

Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX]
A while back I posted a question regarding performance gains to ccminer versions newer than the v1.0 that I was using. Recently I had to reload my computer from scratch (Xubuntu 14.04) so I compiled v1.2 with Cuda 6.5, driver 340.29. Whereas with two GT640 (GDDR5) mining BTQ I was getting ~1.6Mh/s combined, I'm now getting ~2.1Mh/s. 31% boost for zero added hardware. There will be a little something from me in your stocking soon. Thanks a bunch!
Z
I think the third party code forks around here have even more hash rate improvements.
I've reduced my involvement in the mining scene a lot since last summer.
The last thing I did was a GPU miner for CoinShield's CPU channel (together with ChrisH), but that was never made public. Also it looks like CoinShield was quite a dud (i.e. the coin's value is not taking off and the feature rollout of the wallet is really slow)

Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX]
I'm considering buying couple of pcs. What is your opinion of it...
Interesting offer, but this is a passively cooled card and you will have to have a server type case that provides the correct airflow. Seems that Intel wants to get rid of some hardware stock that no one wants to buy Also it seems they have already sold off all cards?
Your mainboard needs to be able to map 8 GB of 64 bit PCIe address space correctly. Lots of consumer mainboards might not be able to do this, as consumer graphics cards typically map a small address window (e.g. 256 MB) into 32 bit address space.
There is no crypto mining software available for these cards. If you are able to program, you might still be able to pull off something interesting with these cards. We could team up, as I have an Intel SC3120A card that is currently unused.

Slashdot also had you featured, and the Riecoin webserver temporarily melted.
