We have very good news to share with you!
Cryptcoin is being revived and rehabilitated with a fresh dev team and totally new direction. Now that Mindfox is out of the picture, we have assembled a completely new team to build Crypt into a better coin than was originally envisioned.
We have amicably broken all ties with the original creator/dev team and will move forward with a fresh approach. Cryptcoin will have new features and an open development process. No more anonymous dev posts. All members of the team will post with their own accounts in the thread and on irc. In addition, we will open a slackchat room for all members of the Cryptcoin community to talk, share ideas, give reasonable critiques, and help move the project forward. We want you to be an extension of the development team. Only with all of us working together can we be successful.
To signify Crypt's fresh start, we will be locking this thread and moving to a new moderated thread this week. All posts with reasonable critiques and concerns are welcome. The only posts we will delete are ones that contain obvious lies, gross manipulation, juvenile behavior, or irrational trolling.

Deadline 15th October !
Hello everyone, on behalf of the community, we have a situation with the developer behind the anon method for CRYPT, Mindfox. We have tried contacting him numerous times. We got no response at all. We want to be totally honest and open with the situation. We are frustrated by his delays and lack of communication therefore we cannot wait anymore especially since we saw him working on other coin projects
We will give him time to respond to us until 15th of October. Otherwise we will assume he failed and we will move on to continue with our other plans for CRYPT. We cannot have one developer delay us and the community like that. We think its the best.

- Thanks for all your patience, we know that its taking longer than expected, but rest assured we are aiming to get this thing out as soon as we possibly could.
- Mindfox, the developer behind this CRYPTCAST was on a business leave during most of august and should be back from his leave anytime soon and should resume his last tasks to wrap up .
- On recent events, CRYPT is here to stay, and we look forward to be listed on Mintpal V2 http://blog.moolah.io/2014/09/01/mintpal-v2-tentative-market-listing/ .
- We have other plans besides CRYPTCAST which are aiming to reveal afterwards.

Crypt Cast Dev. Status
- Our new anon method is in its final stages, we would like to reassure everyone on that. We are calling it "CRYPTCAST"
- We also would like to reassure everyone that Mindfox, the developer behind our anon method "CRYPTCAST" is still working very hard
- The wallet is nearly done, right now the developer is working on the security side of things
- He has solved 4 out of 5 potential attacks to the method, regarding the 5th issue, from the DEV: "5th, might require me to save the messages to the blockchain or an alternate file, so, this could change slightly the way it will work, but nothing worth mentioning"
- One of our team members will be testing the wallet internally before release to public very soon
- Our method is truly new to anything out there, as it uses no intermediate nodes, a totally new innovation
- We thank our investors who are still believing in us, and we have more coming

Announcement: In light of the recent events that took place, there were accusations that the team behind Cryptcoin has abandoned the community. These accusations are completely false and have no base to them. The Cryptcoin team has been working very hard to get new and innovative features implemented but FUD attacks slow down our progress but it will not stop us from implementing our innovative tech. Commander is meant to be run locally and is only exposed to the web at the user's discretion. We always recommend securing your wallet and web app with SSL, but for the purposes of this demo, left it open so as to let users send money without an encryption key. As for SSL and PLAINTEXT -- we're literally giving out the username and password, in plaintext, in many locations. I would imagine it much easier for someone to find it there than sniffing packets.

If this account was hijacked. How did you gain access to it so fast?
LOGS, EMAILS
The attacker never gained access to the dev email account, so I reset the password with an SMS message. Then I attempted the reset the pass on bitcointalk, but the email had been changed. So i asked the rogue guy in IRC if i could have the pass back, and surprisingly he gave it, but we are still locked out of the original github because of his 2FA.
Here is the email to github support and the emails we got when he attacked:
Hi, I have a cryptocurrency repo and have it hosted on your site.
One of our members went rogue and took over our forum account and this github.
I still control the email so i changed the password.
ccryptcoin user on github. my old password was ---------------------
i also connect to your server from the same IP as --------------------- github user.
They have added SSH keys and 2fa authentication to the account and I cannot recover it.
Please, can you fix this for me. If you need to contact me call ------------------------

I dumped my ftc last year, and make a lot of btc, I changed my picture to ftc last year, and many months ago, btt forum doesn't allow ppl modify the avatar so that I have to use ftc logo.

Even if we ignore this fiasco and FUD here is the real question: Is MindFox still working on anon features or has he really quit the development? I think that this is the fundamental question. No MindFox means no anon features and that means no point in CryptCoin because it can't deliver anything anyway.
