@CFB Any ETA for IOTA to be listed on other exchanges?

Just asking because  I would hate to create a bitfinex account just to trade IOTA.

In a way I am glad that IOTA is not yet on other exchanges. It gives the dev team a bit of breathing room to iron out any last minute issues that the exchanges might encounter. After all IOTA is unlike anything they have on the exchanges so give bitfinex some slack and not hate.

Why do these Devs think its okay to sell so many coins before putting it on an exchange? It makes it seem so sketchy.

Let the average investor get in cheap. It shows that you're are honest and transparent about the distribution of tokens.

I think this will be a big lesson to be learned as more people come into this space with their own coins.

IOTA has been traded since a year OTC. It was not production ready to be launched at exchanges till now. It was at dogecoins market cap 4 months ago. Anyone who took the trouble of researching outside polo trollbox knew about it and bought in the llast few months.

How was it traded?
From person to person?

It seems to me that here something serious is being plannednull

Yup. see you at 5 billion marketcap.

Yes person to person using escrow. and then on YDX slack. It was painstaking but fully worth the reward.

Just the opposite, they did let people in cheap, as you can see if you read the 450 pages of this thread. What they didn't do is hype it like crazy like those newer ICOs.

Put it on an exchange where everyone is aware of it from the beginning instead of people not even knowing about this or have to research in order to find it.

For god sake you have been on Bitcointalk for less than a month. IOTA thread is active since the ICO and people are learning it and trading it. Why do you complain about missing out? You should have been here two years ago to reap the benefits now. Don't worry find some gems now and reap the benefit after two years.

KMD is by far the most undervalued coin in top 50 CMC.

I expect an exponential rise in days.

Voxel dumped 70% on polo and the so called saviour Risto is busy playing "Crypto Kingdom - 1991 Retro Virtual World(City)" on bitcointalk.

Comedy gold.

Once iota is on exchanges 31 Tiota held by suoernet will alone be worth the current marketcap of supernet (3k btc).

Let that sink in.

Hi Dev when will be the next payout for BTCD swap? KMD is really going well above ICO.

I think it happens every fortnight. if you cant wait just sell BTCD on polo for BTC. Transfer BTC to Bittrex. Buy KMD on Bittrex.

You would get the same results.

Current BTCD price at polo = 0.00825 BTC/BTCD
Current KMD price at bittrex = 0.000164 BTC/KMD

Conversion rate at exchange =  0.00825/0.000164 = 50.3 KMD per BTCD

Conversion rate from swap = same as above. more or less.

In case you have already deposited BTCD on ICO site and waiting for KMD withdrawal, Dev is doing you a favor. KMD is on the rise and will be on the rise. The later you sell the more BTC you get.

Cryptox.pl says there are no planning added new coin.
cryptox is shit exchange!!
Exactly Yassin. IOTA does not need such exchanges as Mt.Gox, only reputable exchanges for the great IOTA. BTW your exchange is also very good for IOTA. This is the great opportunity for the newcomers to jump into the moving train at the last moment.

YDX is great. But the iota network sucks. Been waiting for iota withdrawal since more than a day from YDX. Hope it goes through soon. Cant believe such a crap network for iota with a marketcap of 50 million usd at current iota prices.

It takes so long because yassin can only do one transaction at a time when he has all coins in one seed so there is a line of withdrawals

This is intentional design because it allows offline / offchain transactions

Also the bigger the network gets the faster the confirmations

In the testnet there were about 22 txs per second , bitcoin can do 7 max and is currently battling at 3-4

Does that mean exchange like poloniex will need to have thousands of seeds/nodes to handle ten thousands withdrawals a day? Does not look ideal.

For the exchanges using iota will be as easy as any other crypto , exchanges often have many wallets and they can use basically the same software , all the exchanges are waiting for the exchange api

Also dom , one of the devs , was working on founding a crypto exchange as his first crypto startup so i think they will have thought about those things

Damn if the transactions remain these clumsy my kettle will have to send the transaction a night before to my toaster for me to have my breakfast on time.

IOTA is complicated. Node sharing requiring static IP and port?

Lite clients are too centralized.

Price too high. Also lot of ICO investors ready to dump when launched at exchanges. current OTC price is 30 times ICO price. Not a bargain at all.

It's 30 times ICO price because the ICO was held at a time when altcoins were at the end of bear market. Not many investors believed in IOTA ICO. Then Ethereum pump came and brought altcoins back to live. IOTA price was pretty much stable since then.

There was also more then a year of trading

OTC trade volume is tiny. hardly 10% of the ICO investors have sold. Once on smaller exchanges the price will surely dip from current price. and then it will pump when it gets listed on polo.

Better safe to wait than buying the top.

it will instantly get listed on all exchanges including polo

Also there are 3 buying and selling threads ob btctalk and the bot was initially not around and rebooted a couple of times so it does not reflect real otc volume over the last year

ICO was 2 years ago. Don't expect investors to sell cheap after holding that long. And the price was already way higher. We dropped already 70% from alltime high or so...

30 x return on ICO in BTC terms and 50 x return in fiat terms at current price. I dont know I think it is wise to wait till it is on proper exchange. I am sure a lot of ICO investors are still holding to sell on exchanges. current marketcap is already 40 million USD. Risk reward ratio does not look good.

It has dropped 70% from all time high. no reason for it not to drop further.
