Everything is in Blockchain. But they have different wallets.
Private key and exchange ones. But my BTC, Eth and usdt they are all in Blockchain
BTC and usdt in my private key wallets. Eth in the exchange wallet

thank you so much for the help! I was FINALLY able to swap my usdt to btc......

the problem was that I was keeping my eth in the exchange wallet instead of the private one.., so after moving everything around, the problem solved.

By the way....walking away from blockchain since there is no point of keeping a custodial wallet with zero customer service....

So now I have 57 USD in my ether wallet and still get an not enough funds message when trying to swap my thether yo BTC.

Question: this 57 are on my exchange Eth wallet.
Is this on or should I add more funds the my private Eth wallet?

Sorry to ask this here but I tried contacting Blockchain customer service to no avail

not enough funds to swap USDT

Hello,

I have a blockchain wallet.
I swapped around 350  USD worth from BTC to USDT a couple of weeks ago.
Now I want to swap the balance back to BTC.
As far as I know, I need ETH to swap USDT.

I have 8 Usd worth of ETH in a trading account and about 20 USD worth of BTC in my private wallet.
Still, every time I want to swap from USDT to BTC I get an error saying that I don't have enough ETH.
Ok, so I tried to swap my 20 USD in BTC to eth, and I get an error saying I don't have enough BTC balance to swap to ETH.

So I'm stuck....and I really need my 350 usdt!

Any idea of what might be the problem?

Thanks

I tried to access my account with Chrome and almost had a hart attack
After reading this post, I tried with Firefox and I could access it.

What's wrong with Coinbase?
I though it was the safest on-line trading service, but after this.... Cry

This has now been fixed! Our SMS provider Authy was being marked as spam by Verizon. Thanks for your patience while we worked this out!

Hi, I'm having trouble accessing my Coinbase account. Nothing is happening, No error msg or anything, it just keeps going back to the Login page.
I tried resetting my password but that didn't work either.
I do remember setting my account to not receive sms authentication codes for 30 days the last time I accesed my account.

Any idea of what can be going on?

Central Bank official present in Argentine Bitcoin Conference?

HI, I share this podcast from an Argentine bitcoin advocate stating that in past conference, a Central Bank official was present and very interested in estimulating it's use in my country.

I must say that Argentina is going through a tough currency crisis due to debt payments that are making Central Bank's reserves go down, which led to strict regulations to acquire US currency (Argentina is the second country, following US, with a US$/person ratio in the world).

I really can't confirm if what this person says is true since I'm not living in Argentina... but a do know that some people are even accepting bitcoins for fancy apartments....

Newbie trying to understand how this works

Hi everyone.
I know both my Subject is very obvious and repetitive, but after a whole week of researching, reading forums, reading news and even a book about bitcoins I still have some questions regarding how to buy bitcoins.

The way I started was thanks to my brother, who started investing with bitcoins in 2011 and since then he's been poking me to do the same (unfortunately I didn't listen to him until last week). He gave me 0.5 bitcoin last week so I decided to give it a try  bought 0.1 bitcoin through coinbase.
The thing is that I would like to know if there is "simpler"  electronic mean of buying btc.
I've tried MT.Gox marketplace but I haven't heard from them (my identity is being verified and it's been more than 10 days already).
The problem with coinbase is that since the funds are being withdrawn from my checking account, it takes almost 7 days to process the purchase, so for instance, I wouldn't have been able to sell my bitcoins (which I bought at 440) when the reached the $800 a few days ago.
I understand that bitcoins are the kind of long term investment, but still, I don't see how I could benefit from it in the short term given the high restrictions that exist to buy/sell the currency.

Another option is localbitcoins but I refrain from using that exchange for two reasons: the price for small amounts was 20/30% higher than the ones in the on-line exchanges (specially for little amounts, which is the kind of transaction I can afford). And second, I felt kind of unsure about the security of these kind of transactions. Probably this is a prejudice, so maybe someone could help me to understand the safety of this kind of operations.

So any insight about this issues would be very much appreciated!

Thanks
Cecilia
