Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing
by

Read this several minutes ago. We must be vigilant on what we are investing and must do some research or study first if the project that we wanted to join is legit or not. So sad that there are some ICOs who are just making money for their own sake. Because of this issues, people becomes scared of cryptocurrencies and thinks that other cryptos that are legit are scams too.

http://www.livebitcoinnews.com/denaro-ico-raises-8-7m-and-goes-up-in-smoke/

I think I would like to give an advice, just a short piece, in order to make a good profit in the market, disregarding the risk because it is much better (with low risk) if we are going to think about, investing on bitcoin right now. Yes, bitcoin is gaining much of the volume today, and the fact that it can provide us with the best profit, transaction fees and transaction speed can be disregarded, we are seeking on profit here.

Re: How do I know the trustworthyness of a new coin?
by

Hi people,
I am relatively new in this field. Having done some "trading" of alt coins in 2018, I would like to seek the opinion of more experienced traders and hopefully gain an insight as to how can I better differentiate coins with higher potential and coins which are basically crap.

Thanks in advance!

You can't. Basically figuring out the trustworthiness of a coin should going to be start on, figuring out the best that the project can bring to the market. How well that market is implemented, and how strong is the team supporting the project. In that case, the strength of the marketing will determine the strength of the coin in the future.

Re: Reducing scam

Kind time of the day, with every day in ICO we meet more and more fraud. It is clear that no one forces us to invest in these projects. But the idea of a cryptocurrency does not imply any regulatory department. What do you think that could help in solving this problem? I just see only that the advisors were responsible, or they took a pledge from the projects they are entering.

Regulations have nothing can do to support and maintain the orderliness and progress of projects in the market. In fact, they will just going to be a limiting factor in an entry of best projects. In addition, thinking about how to reduce scam is about, thinking about how we can help ourselves to be secure and protected against it. Let's start first with the small unit.

Re: Your past experience will always be an added advantage

Experience is very vital in life, either good or bad.
You might have encountered some challenges (while trading, investing or in the use of some crypto tools) in the crypto space, your manner of approach and how you were able to solve them or perhaps you could not, all these together can help you to make good decisions in the future.
Only the fearful will never dear to take a risk that will be an advantage to him in future.
This is a trending technology with a bright future. Learn more about it, teach others, make use of it and very soon, you will see it working for you.

Think about trying to apply as an employee on the real life, you are including your work experience to your portfolio for the employers to see and to be able to hire you as well. That is just like here on crypto. Sharpening your experience will be your sword to slice up hindrances that will going to make you static here. Market is volatile so as the cryptocurrency opportunities are.

Re: Cryptocurrency investment
by
ceetoo224

I used to get worked up over a loss in cryptocurrency not until I realized that these losses can be mitigated using the right investment strategy.
Investing and holding a coin is not the issue here, the issue is knowing when to sell.
The most successful investors are those who know when exactly to sell.
And to do that, one need doses of patience so as not to fomo and sell at loss.
The difference between the rich and the poor is simply the ability to know the right time to sell.

I will definitely be negative about your point because for my view, know just when to sell and what is the condition of your investment when you sell is not enough to determine if you've executed the right decision. We could add another factor and that is, why to buy? when to buy? and where to buy? one thing that I am putting my emphasis here is where to buy since the right exchange with the best liquidity will going to handle your investment as good as it is.

Which wallet do you consider for ERC-20 tokens and how safe is it?

For storing my ERC 20 token, what compatible address that I use is my ether wallet, though it is prone to phishing because of its domain address, it has allot of characteristics that can still make my balance secure. If you hold and have a huge volume of tokens, then you might want to access it offline, also to add an encryption key using private keys or a file that will serve as a passport to it that is called JSON file.

Re: alt millionaire on the next bull run
by

on 09/04/2019, 11:56:27 UTC
i hope to become an alt millionaire on the next bull run. if crypto adoption is here. then let their be alt millionaires. maybe i am thinking too soon. but maybe in 6 years out. it can truly be done. i have been trading. hopefully this is the true bottom and that the next road is moon shots. i been buying alt coins but not accumulating. which sucks because i have several alt coins that have 100% return in 2019.

What might be the basis of your 6 years prediction? Have you conduct a technical analysis of the graph that can say, merely, in the next six years, hodlers of particular altcoin can achieve much? I just want to clarify this as I am thinking about investing on a particular altcoin in the market that can make me profit in a shorter year than 6 years.

Re: How Ethereum plans on increasing their TPS.
by
ceetoo224
on 09/04/2019, 11:54:46 UTC
Ethereum is one of the popular blockchains being used by several projects in the crypto space. It's mass adoption is as a result of how easy it is to use. However, Ethereum maximum transaction per second as at now is about 15 TPS but it plans on increasing it's transaction  per second in the nearest future. In the first quarter of 2020 it plans on making several updates such as the development of plasma and sidechain technologies which would all contribute in increasing the transaction speed of Ethereum Blockchain Network.

Are there any more plans by the foundation as to making their blockchain network feasible to work with that i did not mention? Please share with the community and let's educate ourselves Smiley

I guess so, but when I am creating a transaction on the ethereum blockchain, it took for about 30 seconds to successfully send a token to another address. But for me, this is enough, the transaction speed goes well compared to what bitcoin has, I am just wondering what do bitcoin lack on its feature that prohibits it to do the same thing as ethereum do?

Re: why there is so much fuss about decentralized exchanges
by
ceetoo224
on 09/04/2019, 11:52:04 UTC
Recently I came across an article about the future of decentralized exchanges and how they are going to transform the centralized exchanges. One thing that clearly mentioned is that decentralized exchanges are secure and impossible (kind of) to hack as no central entity is running/controlling them. However, I heard about the security breach of Bancor and waves DEX. So what's the point of decentralized exchanges if they are still being hacked Huh

It is depends, if much of the hash power are controlled by a single or a group of entity, they can still penetrate the blockchain and the transactions that the blockchain has, I've just heard about some issues before and I can't recall it right now, but this sounds to be an inside job what do you think?

Re: Your destiny is in your hands
by
ceetoo224
on 08/04/2019, 05:04:32 UTC
Our destiny is not written on an imaginary surface and not in wind. What we are today in the crypto space is as a result of the works of our hands.
- Whenever you want to invest or promote a project, do not be in haste, but take your time to analyze it.
- If you want to sell the coin you have, do ensure you think about it many times, so that you will not later blame yourself for selling.
- Get materials to study whatever you do not know.
Nobody can make a better decision for you than yourself. So learn to do the right thing at the right time.

The second point is that, if we are going to sell, then think about it many times. I guess it could be analyze in a short period of time, basically, crypto volatility is too much and if there is an opportunity to sell, then go for it. Think about it but don't let you think for very much time as market might fall down suddenly in just 1 night.

Re: The Bull is in the Crypto Arena
by
ceetoo224
on 08/04/2019, 05:01:54 UTC
After the wave of December 2017 passed, the crypto market has been gripped in the claws of a bear market. This has resulted in companies going under, job losses, and investors and miners capitulating. All the biggest coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ripple, have fallen 85% or more from their peak price.

The firm believers and those in it for the long haul stayed put on the sidelines waiting for the winter to pass. But now the sun is out and investors are starting to express their excitement at the prospect of a bull run for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ripple.

Read here for more : https://www.cryptofish.com/blog/the-bull-is-in-the-crypto-arena/

Definitely, more appropriate to say, "The BULLS" are in the crypto arena, yes we can expect bitcoin is the bull here, but there is a high possibility that other crypto assets become bullish, well, see ETH and BCH, they are now starting to moon at the moment, and in that way, a very pleasant morning for all of us, The BULLS are in the market.

Re: Hope for hodlers
by

on 08/04/2019, 04:59:59 UTC
To my best understanding
Presently, the crypto currency market is a game of who buys or accumulates most tokens or bitcoins

The Government and The  big men wants to buy several of it and companies want to be a part of it as well

If we see BTC at $3k, I won't be surprised but when the moon and bull runs start..

It will be as eagles soar on the sky high

When we say game who buys most tokens, I guess it is not always applicable in some sense. Accumulating bitcoin yes is proven to be a good investment but tokens in the market, even you hold the largest volume, if there is no popularity and market adoption, I think you've just wasted your money on it.

Re: Bear market,a blessing in disguise
by

on 08/04/2019, 04:58:11 UTC
Before now, crypto sphere is full of many people whose interest is getting rich overnight and not crypto and blockchain tech, but the present bear market is exposing and already showing them a way out,I guess that is good for us because with their exit, crypto sphere can be restructure.I can't wait to have everyone working together for the interest of crypto and blockchain tech,it is going to happened soon.

What I have perceived about the bear market being a good thing to consider is only its privilege to allow customers basically, those people that are new to crypto to accumulate large volume of crypto, that's it. But all I can see in the bear market is just drastically fall down of projects and ICO's, fall of investment and profits.

Those who survived here until now, will soon receive a great income because we are the true first adopters no matter if the time is good or bad  Cool.

We are the instruments to a mass blockchain and cryptocurrency adoption I can say, every post that we make each day are all counts and all of that are contributing the the development of the crypto-community, in a sense that, we have the first information on hand, and what we are just doing is sharing it with others for them to easily adopt what cryptocurrency are. Thanks to my mentors and friends that helped me figure out what bitcoin is. It all started with that.

Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency?
by
ceetoo224
on 07/04/2019, 15:18:18 UTC
I am interested in opinions about borrowing in cryptocurrency.
If a cryptocurrency will have low price volatility, then would you borrow in that token?

If not please tell why?

Is there any available platform where you can execute what your are thinking right now about borrowing tokens? If there is so then it will be good since it is regulated, but if you are just going to contact your friends to say, may I borrow, then it is unfavorable, you might have some conflicts if the market price of the particular coin goes so high.

Re: Who is the cheater?

TEAM: The campaign will run from now to.........., the bounty rewards will be distributed 45 days after token sales
GENERAL RULES: One account per person
BOUNTY HUNTERS: joined
 5 telegram account per person
 3 bitcointalk account per person
 5 facebook account per person
 4 twitter account per person
 2 Reddit account per person
 2 LinkedIn account per person

Two days to the end of ICO...
TEAM: Due to some reasons, the ICO will be extended for two weeks
BOUNTY HUNTERS: Can we stop the campaign and remove the signature?
TEAM: No,the campaign will continue to the end of ICO.
BOUNTY HUNTERS: When exchange?
TEAM: We can't discuss exchange now,we will announce when is time.
BOUNTY HUNTERS: When bounty rewards distribution?
TEAM: Wait for announcement here.

After ICO......
BOUNTY HUNTERS: When exchange?
TEAM: We are preparing announcement, wait for it.
BOUNTY HUNTERS: When bounty rewards distribution?
TEAM: We will announce here just stay tune.
TEAM: Our coin will be listed on....... on .....
BOUNTY HUNTERS: When bounty rewards distribution?
TEAM: We will announce here just stay tune

After listing...

BOUNTY HUNTERS: When bounty rewards?
TEAM: We will give the announcement in days.

After coin dumped...
TEAM: The bounty rewards will be distributed in 3 weeks.

      Bounty hunters using multiple account,
Dev and team delaying bounty rewards until it worth nothing.
     Then who is the cheater?

If you are going to weigh all the pros and cons of both sides, I think it is much heavier in case of the developers and the project it self, basically bounty hunters joining multiple accounts enables to help much more because they promote even way more better, their coins is that, there is a huge chance of dumping, on the other side, developers and team who do not pay is worse compared to people who are cheating but intended to help them, just my opinion at all.

I want to now about binance ico platform because the Crypto big exchanges is binance now days they are doing now business that is launching the ico in binance platform and I was invested some amount their in btt tokne but it ended with big loss for me after ico finished in binance platform, so now I want to now that is binance ico platform is safe for investors?

It is never safe to invest for a very long term in any exchange platform, basically anywhere where you don't have a private key exclusively for you. But I guess based on the reputation of binance for a years, then it is somehow has a very good liquidity support and can solve whenever there might be some issues.

Re: Could a coin price be locked in place?
by
ceetoo224
on 06/04/2019, 14:50:28 UTC
I'm not talking about these supposed stablecoins like Tether, but normal coins.  Let's say an agreement was made among all the major Bitcoin exchanges.  Starting January 1, a Bitcoin is worth $5000 USD, plain and simple, and that's it.  The price never goes higher or lower.  A Bitcoin is $5000 today, tomorrow, next week, next month, etc.  NOTHING changes it.  Not a war, not the economy, not Trump getting re-elected (which he will, he's doing a great job), nothing.

I wonder if that could be done and what the effect would be.

One effect is that I wouldn't be buying BTC, because with no price volatility, how could I ever make a profit?  But one good thing is that normal companies may be more inclined to use Bitcoin, since its price is now fixed and does not change.

There are some coins called stable coins and that not necessarily means that its market price is stationary and constant, though there are also coins that are limiting the sell price to a certain amount to avoid getting dumped and also its market price is not stationary and constant, in conclusion, there are no coin with price locked in place as market decides how much would it be.

Re: Looked back - lost!
by
ceetoo224
on 06/04/2019, 14:42:13 UTC
You are already in cryptocurrency and you should not regret it.
YES, the course is unstable. Sometimes there are mistakes, but do not look back. You will not change anything. It is better to assume that you made the right decision, even if you got a loss.
We need to move only forward, what do you think?

We all made a decision in cryptocurrency. We are going to the point that we are investing even in a small amount, but I am going to say this. If cryptocurrency have gotten your investment or simply, you experience a loss, then do not let it gonna happen without crypto market going to pay. What I am saying is fight back, look for an opportunity to recover and be better enough to double your loss and turn the table for it to become a winning benefit.
