Listing for XTV confirmed on GetBTC for 30th November!!!

https://centive.org/centive-announces-exchange-listing-for-november-30th/

It is the firt time I am hearing the name of this exchange. It is not even listed on coinmarketcap.
Any way, It's not bad. The ICO has not ended yet and bigger exchanges will likely list Centive.

Hi Ahmadakbari, the exchange is not the top huge exchanges you will see on Coinmarketcap, which for now we will start small building optimal liquidity and circulation to be able to sustain a persistent trading volume first. Then of course in the future we will go for the big boys of exchanges such as Binance, Bitmex, Bithumb etc. But we just have to start small and scale fast.

Getbtc exchange can be seen here for more details = https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/getbtc

Thankyou for your ongoing interest and support !!

It is planned to be listen on only 6 exchanges in 2020, why so less? I'm pretty sure you will succeed in listing on most popular exchanges.

6 Exchanges are just guideline of course, we will definitely be listing on more exchanges no doubt. Constant monitoring of the market volume and also our trading volume sustaining the liquidity are all main factors that will be in consideration by then. Thankyou for your support !!

Quoting from the whitepaper - "Centive trains its eyes on the ever-growing advertising industry which in 2018 is expected to
be valued at US$558 billion globally."

I believe the use case here is quite extensive. Do you have any bounty program? Want Centive tokens.

Yes we will announce bounty / airdrop program very soon, please stay in touch with our social media platforms.

You wrote that "A safe platform, cold stored purses, providing reliability to the highest standards." And what does cold mean? Hardware wallets are supported?

Cold storage wallets are the opposite to hot wallets. Withdrawals are processed by batch each day, so to ensure maximum security for your tokens that will be protected to the highest standard. If we see irregularities, i.e. a huge transfer out, we will contact the owner to confirm.

After Bitcoin halves in 2020, then sell. Prices should spike by 2021, based on previous years' trends.

Re: A coin issued by some country government - would you go for it?
by

Whether its issued by a government or by a centralized agency - generally, it's not a good idea to invest in.
The whole reason Bitcoin was invented is to allow its adopters freedom from taxation, privacy and mobility - not currently afforded to them in the current financial paradigm which is fully centralized.

Re: Bitcoin's volatility is a non-issue
by

Volatility and Liquidity are inter-related. Prices become volatile when there's no liquidity. So, volatility - depending on how you see it is an opportunity (for traders), and risk (for institutional investors).

Whence liquidity is improved, this will ideally reduce volatility, and encourage both side (traders + institutions) to trade bitcoin or invest.

Re: Is facebook creating their own crypto?
by

on 12/07/2018, 11:30:07 UTC
There are definitely tonnes of rumors flying around by now. One of them involves Facebook buying Coinbase, and offering trading services.

For Facebook to have its own cryptocurrency - it is entirely possible since Ripple (XRP) is invested by Google. But to what extent will the globalists (and governments) allow Facebook to operate their crypto?

After all, Facebook is just one decree away from being banned by any government in the world.

Re: War on cryptocurrency!
by

Until today, governments around the world are mostly too big. Being big costs a lot of money, which answers the question of the purpose of taxation.

Taxation comes in many forms and sizes -

VAT/GST aka Consumption Tax
Income Taxes
Other forms of Taxes

They all function by means of taxing after the "transaction" has occured. Since Cryptocurrencies cannot be tracked so easily, this makes taxation almost impossible to police. Thus, the war on cryptocurrency is REAL, but the future is somewhere in between - where Governments and Crypto adopters adopt the middle ground.

Re: Malta Approves Three New Bills to provide regulation to crypto market
by

Great news and update indeed for the crypto ecosystem, but judging by the nature of Malta being in the EU and laws regarding cryptomarket are still pre-mature, alot of drastic changes may occur in the next decade. But for sure it is a great stepping stone for the Crypto ecosystem that leads way to a decentralized future such as Estonia for example with their e-residency ID card to support this dynamic change.

Re: If bitcoin gets mass adopted, must we use our mobiles to buy?
by
centive
on 12/07/2018, 08:21:34 UTC
Not always, there are mobile wallets, desktop wallets and also cold storage hardware wallets as well. Boy there were paper wallets before as well. So you can pretty much proceed it from various places, but the point is how safe and secure these origins are. One thing for sure never keep your entire holdings on exchanges, you will pretty much regret it.

There are numerous online resources on manual platforms on Github or online courses on Udemy as well. Another great choice would be blockchain courses on https://www.pluralsight.com/search?q=blockchain , well most are free and great instructors as well.

Re: TenX Co-Founder Stands Behind $60,000 Bitcoin Price Prediction
by
centive
on 12/07/2018, 07:33:07 UTC
I think price prediction doesn't really matter.

The primary function of bitcoin as means for transaction is being upheld.
Secondary function - as means for storage of value is work in progress. Whether it goes to 10,000 or 1,000,000 tomorrow it still is the best way for many of the world's depressed citizenry to escape tyranny and hyperinflation (i.e. Venezuela, Iran)

Therefore, the conclusion is - bitcoin will be here for the foreseeable future.

Re: Is Bitcoin Dead?
by
centive
on 12/07/2018, 06:16:09 UTC
Many pundits are still expecting Bitcoin to rise from here on. At 5/6k per BTC , institutions have already made their entry. Of course, they still hope to collect it for cheaps.

Also, many analysts have failed to take into account missing bitcoins which are not accessible and locked up forever. Of the 21 million, only 3/4 are perhaps accessible.

Trading volume are at all times highs versus previous years too.

So no, Bitcoin will not die. It will be around for a long time as a means of wealth transfer. Get aboard or regret Wink

Re: Bitcoin become an asset

We would pretty much either BTC will become a single digital currency in the future or it will slow die off to make way for other coins. It is hard to distinguish it as a currency at the moment. Id say as a digital asset in the current advanced economy is where is is at in this contemporary era.
