A botnet admin (Nminer on slack) found a wait to send bad message to the pool. He can crash the pool software.
videlicet works to fix it, but we have to be sure this fix works good . we will works with paulscreen too ( to update his pool) I keep you posted
Videlicet will release a new Nexus wallet to fix it too.

I am paying the following bounties for well done and approved user guides for: CPU Mining (both solo and both pools) 250 Nexus, GPU Mining Guide that includes links to the compiled miners or process for compiling and directions to successfully set them up Windows (AMD 250 Nexus, Nvidia 250 Nexus), Linux you pick the version (AMD 500 Nexus, Nvidia 500 Nexus). I understand there are many different cards and versions of Linux. I am looking for a good start that we can add to for different versions as issues arise. These must walk a new user through the process and be easy to understand. I will double each if you make a text guide and a good video guide. These guides must also be reviewed by miners in the Community (those active in #mining on Slack) and the bounty awarded upon consensus of these folks. Also, please post in here of you are working on these items, so we don't have duplication of efforts.

Now, Pool is up and works perfectly, we don't see any probleme after the update. All balances are safe and payout works

did not come any more payments already 9 hours... and ballance does not increase.
Any manipulation and restarting does not help. Shares go, processors loaded, but there is no payment and the balance is unchanged from noon...
What happened? When the pool sends payment for a job?

Nexus built successfully on the same machine, but pool gives error
Yes we have to works on pool stability with the new release . Pool works with 0% fee for the moment.
I keep you posted when we found a good solution to increase stability.
It's probably a compilation probleme, we works on an optimisation.

I have pushed an update to the pool miner that fixes a bug where the miner sometimes doesn't pick up a new block. This results in you submitting stale shares. Please grab this update and rebuild your miners. NOTE I have also renamed the binary to nexus_cpuminer, so update any batch files / bash scripts that you use

How to Setup Google Cloud Mining

This guide assumes you have a Google Cloud account. I will refer to the Google Menu button as the hamburger.
Setup an Instance Template
1. Click the hamburger and navigate to "Compute Engine"
2. Click on "Instance Templates"
3. Click "Create Instance Template"
4. Name your instance. No spaces, lower case only.
5. For a trial account I reccomend the "n1-highcpu-8", for full accounts use "n1-highcpu-2".
6. Under "Boot Disk" click "Change"
7. Select "Ubuntu 14.04 LTS", change "Boot Disk Type" to "Standard persistance disk"
8. Click "Management, disk, networking, SSH keys" to open additional options
9. Past the following into the startup script:

4. Select a zone. Trial accounts are limited to 8 vCPUs per region (us-central, etc). You should create a group for each region to maximize profits
5. Full accounts can modify the "Number of Instances" so they can fill their quota
6. In the "Instance Template" dropdown select your template you created
7. In the "Health Check" select your health check
8. Click "Create"

What Pool, what OS, what CPU, and what temperatures? Mine runs 24/7 without problems.
I'm mining with win7 64bit, i7 3970k, temps are ok (60°), on nexusminingpool.

Strange. nexusminingpool gets anywhere from 300-1000 connections and I've not heard of anyone else having trouble before. What error do you get? Is there anything in debug.log?
nexusminingpool works like my pool http://nexusniropool.cestballot.fr/ . If your miner works on my pool it will work on nexusminingpool. Could we see you launch files for nexusminingpool and nexusniropool.cestballot.fr? (.bat)
