I am using 2 Coolermaster V850 to power up 1 Jupiter november batch.
All together is pulling 860-865 watt at the wall.
Waiting for the rest of the jupiters.
DON'T BUY LOWER THAN 1000 WATT PSU

I'm assuming that you split the pci cable jacks betwen the 2 PSU - what order are you turning them on?  do you turn on the supply with the beaglebone attached first or second?

Rule 2 of mining gear: CHECK YOUR STATS AT LEAST 3-5X A DAY!  I just wanted to see by chance how much bitcoin was generated in my pool acct and I saw that the future expected earnings was decimal tiny.  Come to see that my BF full kit has been off for sometime!   I have no idea how much mining time I've lost today but I'd imagine its a .29 lost as that is expected twice per day and hasnt arrived but once!

one feature found in some pools (bitminter for example) is a dead worker notification - the pool sends you an email when a worker hash rate falls below a pre-configured value.  This can save you lots of time either checking stats or not hashing.

Beastlymac - Where can I get a windows vista usb driver for blue fluries?  I tried loading the one included in the directions for windows 7 but they wouldn't install. It looks like the bf1.ini file is a text file with some descriptive lines.  Is it possible to build one of these that will work?

You need to enable CGminer API and restart CGminer

Thanks, that solved my problem.

does anyone know how to get the web interface to connect to the cgminer api correctly?  I just did an update from .95 to .97  and the miner status data doesn't display correctly.

Code:
Mining Status

CGMiner Status Running (Connect to CGMiner API failed)
Last Checked
Avg. Hash Rate
WU
Difficulty Accepted
HW Status

ASIC slot #1 50.0 ℃
ASIC slot #2 -
ASIC slot #3 60.0 ℃
ASIC slot #4 53.0 ℃
ASIC slot #5 48.0 ℃
ASIC slot #6 -

Thanks,

Is anyone else getting a hell of a lot of "http://mint.bitminter.com:8332 not responding!" messages with BFGMINER? I am using 3.2.1

Also getting quite a few of "stratum share submission failure"

Anyone?

shouldn't you be using port 3333 for stratum?

Does anyone know what this means and/or how to solve ?

Code:
pi@bitfury:/opt/bitfury$ sudo ./start-miner-console.sh
INIT: 0 chips detected
Floating point exception

My Bitfury starterkit stopped hashing and refuses to hash Sad
I had the same problem with my other starterkit, that one never worked.

Mailed BFSB several days ago and pm'ed P but maybe someone knows something that helps ?

if the rPI is working.. then try changing the bank the h-boad is plugged into.

if the rPI isn't booting, then re-image the memory card.

Unfortunately they're all dead, but the people who picked the flattest spot in Idaho and named it Mountain Home ought to be killed. And resurrected, and killed again. And again.

There's a town in florida called mount dora. The highest point in the town is 144 ft above sea level.  It would have been better named 'small sand dune dora with no ocean view'

Hi Dargo,
Is there any place where we can look to see where you've completed the regulatory steps need to offer services in specific areas?

The chip F01I is a fuse, if you insert card opposite way the fuse is dead for sure, and if you are lucky that can be the only problem with that card.
Cheers,

so is there a part number for the fuse?  of just wire around it?

2920L300/15DR (Littlefuse)

intron

Thanks intron.

An ohm meter shows the fuze is still closed.  I tried plugging the h-board into a different rig and it works, so my problem is in the m-board side.

I pulled the classic 'insert the h-board the wrong way' blunder today and the h-board isn't working now.

Does this look like the problem?

the chip at F01I has some pitting on the edges.  Is this something I can replace?

I had posted this in the support thread. I'm hoping to get a quicker response here.

I had been using BTC Guild since I had gotten my miner, and everything was fine up until last night when BTC Guild got hit with a DDoS attack. Since then, I am not able to connect to BTC Guild or any other pool (I've tried 50BTC, Eclipse, and Bitminter). Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

bitminter has been running just fine.

I found a very interesting observation on one of my starter kits.  One of my five h-cards shows it has a dead chip in slot a-1.  If I move it to slot b-1 or c-3 that h card now shows all chips working for that problematic h-card.

I've seen something along those lines - slot A (3rd slot on 3rd bank)  on my v2 m-board generates lots of miso errors regardless of the card I put in it. I can tune the card and get some of the miso-errors to go away by shutting down chips, but the errors don't happen on the same card if I move it to a different slot or a different m-board

Does anyone have some good pointers for setting up a network file server to point several rPIs at?  I've had a couple of memory cards fail already and I'd like to move to something more dependable.

Ah geez I'm doing some research on this... interesting that on the raspberry pi forums, feeding power into the GPIO pins (like how our mboards are doing) is not recommended because it doesn't have any power protection.

This is true, sort of.  But if your m-board has power issues then your likley to fry you h-boards.  Right now your worried about the $40 component when the smoke is coiming out of the $500 component.

I've been on Slush' pool from the day I turned my bitfury on. No problems with the pool. I did lose an SD card last night. Re imaged another, 6hrs later rpi dead. Wont turn on with wall wart or on the M-board. I have a spare I'm on now. No mods, bitfury does 25-27 GH/s out of the package. Anyone else loose a PI?  I'm searching treads now for a support e-mail address. I'm trying not to pm Dave about this. Anyone got a support e-mail?

I have an m-board here that ate two of them.  Killed one dead, like yours.  The second will light up the red LED if connected to a wall-wart, but that's it.

Fortunately I had a third RasPi I was using with some BEs that I was able to use on the BFs with a spare m-board.  Emailed about it, but haven't heard a thing.

Guess I better get another on the way in case they dont send one. I'm fairly certain Dave will take care of it, just a matter of when.

Thanks for the info.

I would suggest trying a new memory card.  I had two rPI fail.  Re-imaging the cards didn't work, but image on a new card has me back up and running

I moved a lot in the navy and don't remember every street name I lived at 20 yrs ago so I keep failing the verification quiz.

I kept failing the verification since I no longer know my ex-spouse.  There was also a question about which bank is the lean holder on my car.  Since the car was paid off about 5 years ago I chose 'none of the above' - evidently I was wrong.
