same here..... john k has been a bit busy for a while now, like a few months. there are several members who offer escrow service though.
I am not particularly inclined to just trust any escrow service because one member here deems them "trustworthy". Ultimately, I trust myself and myself only. I have witnessed friends get screwed by escrow services (in conjunction with buyers). That list of services is large and I would not put my BTC in a few of those member's pockets.
With that said, I am trying to sort something out.
Not planning on reserving this. If it sells, it sells, if it doesn't, that's okay too.

What is this in reference to?insurance for international parcels often is limited to 500 or even 100
so if a 6000 package gets lost that will ruin a whole life :|
Where are you getting that from? FedEx insures for more than 500.
EDIT: I can insure anything up to $50,000.
