Just withdrew LTC from Bittrex into my Electrum wallet.  I have a check mark and when I hover over it with the mouse, i see 23 confirmations.

Am I good?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.  Just want to be sure so I can log out.

Thanks for answering my question guys.

I paid this dude $20 usd for a $13.75 usd mining fee.  He said it would take 2 hours.  It has been 24 hours.  I look in the transaction details and discover he only paid just over $3 usd.

When I'm looking at my transaction details it says- Miner Fee- 0.000202.  Since I'm the one receiving, is that my receiving fee?

There are a few wallets that are charging incoming transactions fee's.

Like localbitcoins, everytime that you get a payment in there, you must pay 0.0006 btc in there (aprox $7 atm)
They are real thiefs, i dont know why they are able to charge that money because it is insane.

Just think aboute this, if you are receiving your payments in btc, and you get five a day.. you must pay more than $45 a day worth of fees  for them.

But if you use a normal wallet, you do not have to pay anything.

So that 0.000202 btc fee is what I pay to the Miner for receiving it.. correct?  It's a Mycellium wallet.

Miner Fee question.

So I have a pending transaction that is still receiving and yet to confirm.  A few questions..

When I'm looking at my transaction details it says- Miner Fee- 0.000202.  Since I'm the one receiving, is that my receiving fee?

also

If that is the receiving fee, then is the sending fee totally separate?

Still waiting?  Paid $20.00 for a $13.75 usd mining charge.  Looked at my transaction details 4 hours later and it says Miner Fee: 0.000202.  Which is $3.20 usd.  So who knows when my transaction will be confirmed after that crap.

So I basically just got lied to.   The transaction is legit if Mycellium Wallet is showing that it's receiving said transaction.. right?

Nobody is lying to you the funds will be there but they show up as there but "unconfirmed" because you put such a low fee it may take some time to get there. For instance fees from exchanges range from 100k-200k sats which is 5-10x the amount you put down. Logically you will be behind all these transactions as miners want to mine what is most profitable for them.

I actually paid the guy $20 usd for $13.75 usd in miners fee.   He showed the $13.75 entered on his phone.   He said 2 hours because they are running behind because of increased buying.   4 hours later I go into my transaction details and it says the miner fee is 0.000202 BTC which is $3.22 usd.

So with all of the increased buying and better miner fees... will it be forever stuck in limbo or, is there some requirement for it to be confirmed in a certain amount of time regardless of how low the fee?

One more question.  Is there a better exchange with cheaper fees than cryptopia?

Couple more questions.

I understand litecoin would be cheaper to buy direct.  I just can't get verified fast enough.  It's gonna take forever. Wire transfer etc.

How much would it be (ballpark) to move $440 of BTC to cryptopia or anywhere for that matter?  Are there cheaper ways to move it.  Cheaper exchanges?  NOT COINBASE.

I live in the US.  US exchanges have a complicated Verification that can last for awhile.  So I decided to go the no verification route.

I went with cryptopia.  I'm going to exchange BTC for LTC.  I was curious if anyone knew what the rate was for that?  Also what is the rate for withdrawing LTC?

The company isn't clear on that.  Thanks.

I'm buying BTC from an ATM so I can convert it into LTC.   The ATM's in my area of the US offer BTC only.   I'm having issues with Coinbase verification and really don't want to deal with them or any other verification exchange.  Particularly when I can just by BTC from an ATM and convert it to LTC faster.

That's where I am at.  I need to know what to expect when converting.  I hear Changelly is not reliable and can charge up to 10 percent.  Shapeshift has issues also from what I read.  Is this your experience?  What can I expect?
