This kind of behavior happens in all industry's all over the world. When people are making huge money on anything this is the result. Just look at antiques - when ever any part of history comes into vogue they get copied no end. Just be vigilant and spread the word.

Re: Best country for crypto

Switzerland seems to be the only country that wants to be a real positive friend of crypto. This is one of the main reasons I think crypto will do ok. A good stable country like Switzerland on our side cant hurt. Check out UTrust - the crypto bank based there. Its growing.

Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency?
by

I think BTC will be there but the whole market place will become a lot more diversified. There are coins out there like LTC that are trying their hardest to over come BTC with new innovations ongoing all the time. BTC will always be there but its dominance will fall. But that will happen after mass adoption.

If you are looking for a medium to long term investment then I think you will be ok to join now. The price has managed to hold fairly well above 9000 for the last week. We went through a hell of a crazy time in January/ February and it looks like we may be coming out the other side. So id say yes - invest in BTC and pick up some great alt coins that are out there for a good price . Do your research, this forum and youtube is a good place to start.  Enjoy

Re: I'm so happy this is happening!

It was a healthy fall as long as it was for the right reasons.( over heated market, projects not operating correctly ect .. )  But was it the big boys fudding to get in on the game cheaply. That would piss me off. There was an awful  lot of out right wrong stories in the media last month that led to the fall and what coin market cap did with the S Korea money. And this all began to happen right after the futures market kicked off. All these big banks and media outlets/newspapers ect are friends. If they are the ones guiding the price jumps and dips then we are in trouble. They are ruthless and they dont care for the underlying core beliefs of the crypto coins.
Basically dips are healthy  - corporate manipulation is not .

Is there always a dump of coins after an airdrop ends? I have a feeling that people have been steadily dumping their coins for the past 6-7 weeks if you look at the price now. So im guessing that the dump may not be as big as people think. There is a. core group here that have been holding and will continue to hold after dump , and that may be the smart move. Its a good coin that has potential to hit $35-40 by mid/ end 2018. Why sell at $4.32

Re: What is the main reason for Bitcoin Price down? Will it stay for a long time?
by

Korea ban on anonymous crypto trading (wrongly reported in the media as a out right ban )

China ban initiated in sept 2017 finalized in dec 2017/jan 2018,

India finance minister saying btc is not legal tenure (wrongly reported in the media as all crypto trading in India now illegal )

Lots of countries coming out saying regulations are needed.(wrongly reported in the main stream media as world governments coming down hard on crypto)

and other news stories such as face book banning crypto adds, hacs and uk government halting people from using credit cards to buy crypto (wrongly reported in media as all bank cards )

But what started this little mess was our best friend who we visit every day - coin market cap-  they took south korean money off the total market cap.Billions were wiped out immediately, no one knew why until late that afternoon- by then the damage was done. Cryptos were not invincible.

Guys and girls - regulation is needed. It is what will make this industry respected. Regulation is needed for big corporations to risk billions in this market. They need rules. BTC will remain the same - a place where your money is safe from central banks.   Just be thankful the USA did not come out today in the hearings and recommend a ban on crypto -if they had this would truly have been a disaster.

See you all on the other side      hodl what you have and buy those cryptos you always wanted !!

ps: you cant play the lotto or scratch cards with credit cards, you cant place bets on any web site on earth with a credit card and some countries dont allow the buying of gold with credit cards so I am not surprised that UK government banned this. Actually I cant believe people were doing this !!

I think the people who bought at over 10 k are surprised- disappointment would be more accurate. But for those who bought at low prices of less than 1 K,  I think we all knew deep down that the price rise was too quick. There is gonna be a correction but there will be a future the other side.

I agree, January is usually a shitty month for crypto but because of all the FUD and new users to the space running for the hills with the sign of a drop it is looking a lot worse. If you believe in the coins you are holding and have done your research just hold but if your holding shitty coins that you thought might moon you could be in for a long and stressful  ride. See you all on the other side boys and girls, x x

Re: Why should people use Bitcoin?
by

on 31/01/2018, 15:05:37 UTC
It is not ideal to be used for day to day transactions, a storage of your wealth away from the banks and goverment. That was the idea in the first place. Payments are not really cheap, other alts are cheaper and quicker to use. With the lighting network it may become a lot more user friendly. Lets see how it plays out.

I dont think they will die. There are hard core investors who are in it for the ling run- they see the big picture and they wont sell their stock at a loss. Because of this it wont crash completely. There are to many good ideas out there for this just too stop. BTC is only one coin .

There has been a constant stream of FUD lately. But im not sure why its been taken so badly. Regulations for icos and exchanges. I dont see a problem with that and im not sure why anyone else does. Some exchanges have disappeared with all cash , some ICOs have done lots of talk and then no work, gone with the money.how is that a good thing. Keep above 500 M market cap and let more innovation take place - we need to see results for the market cap.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they were going to put out there iwn cryptocurrency. But then it could be part of a wider plan - a lot of FUD out there right now, this guy is adding to it. Its not like they care or have morals when it comes to advertising money, remember the russian bots and all fake news stories from estonia - they never pulled them cause there were creating traffic. Re: Bitcoin SCAM!
by

on 30/01/2018, 00:44:02 UTC
Ya, just because BTC has been used in scams dosnt mean it is a scam. Gold, diamonds, cash , and antiques have been used since for ever for scamming people. Every scam that has been done with fiat currency is now been tried out on BTC costumers, because there is little or no regulation. This is why it is up to you guys to be vigilant!! No goverment oversight means you have to be smart. Just buy and hodl in off line wallet - safest means of not getting scammed.
