Re: how governments can regulate digital currencies?
by

Any cryptocurrency is at risk of being made illegal by any government. Owning and operating a money transmitter service in the U.S. is “illegal” unless it is registered with State agencies. This is also true if one uses Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency to exchange for fiat currency. Bitcoin is not immune from State or Federal laws regulating the flow of money, and agents can track bitcoin transfers over the blockchain.

Re: How to be A Good Trader? [new]
by

It would be unsuprising to see a good trader actively try to avoid viewing or subscribing to another's analysis. Not out of arrogance but because being only human, eliminating herd mentality becomes a paramount condition. A good trader quits relying on others but rather, relies only on self generated analysis because, when it comes to Technical Analysis, self reliance is mandatory, so going solo is a must.

One I discovered recently (only a few days back) but I'm loving, is Binance! Firstly, it has 0.05% fees if you use BNB to pay fees or 0.1% fees normally. This is less than half of Bittrex and Poloniex and 5 times less than them if you use BNB tokens. As a day trader, minimizing fees is incredibly important to maximizing profit.

Re: Bitcoin is useless so why high price?

The blockchain economy is up and coming, in some shape. Little uncertainty remains that we will in the end push toward a world in which the vast majority of our exchanges will be handled on the blockchain, and we will, after some time, utilize digital currency for our day by day exchanges. What stays to be seen is whether bitcoin or a contender will be that digital money.

Re: ETH or EOS? which coin will survive?
by

If you missed the past ETH skyrocket price increase, BTC gains.....EOS represents a ground floor opportunity to experience the same potential gains. A small allotment into EOS could be very wise. A large allotment into EOS could have your future generations bless your name for their wealth inheritance.

I still hold some eth, I am also feeling nervous of how many icos and tokens are dependent on the platform. One major scandal, from any of these, can set a boatload of investments back many months.

You are absolutely right. Recent technological upgrades and atomic swap feature would definitely push Ltc to greater heights in the coming years, probably it may even reach near BTC in 2 to 5 years.

I think no. Either you are a card user, cash, crypto. Use it wisely. Benefit of card resides solely of it ease but it is controlled and centralized. CASH is still the king and remains a such. CRYPTO is the future. If you are reading this post, evidently you know what  it means. You are part of the 5% and growing earth population that use crypto.

They say no risk, no reward. Is Bitcoin and Ethereum a risk worth taking or will you lose your shirt with these investments? Right now, I would say they are likely good investments. The worse the economy gets, the stronger Cryptocurrencies will get.

There are two main arguments against keeping coins in exchange:

You don't own the private keys of your wallets
Most are unregulated and uninsured.

I made a promise that 2018 I was going to make it my biggest year yet, but I didn't know what it was coming. By the first week, everything was going according to plan. Then the market started collapsing for my altcoins position in a way that I started acting emotional with trades that leaded to big losses. January has been my most challenging month yet. But I'm grateful to have the biggest asset you can have which is "Time" and I'm not going to waste it. Like I said 2018 will be my biggest year yet.

Bitcoin is obviously the LEADER in all crypto currency.. So if seems like investors / buyers are losing faith in it.. it means that for all crypto.. its happens in stocks as well.. Say for example.. The Solar Energy sector...
