It's not just about the supply. There are too many copy-cat and scam coins which has a lower supply. The XRB technology is unique because it's a DAG like IOTA but XRB is better than IOTA. Raiblocks offers an instant and free transactions. Also the developers are now working full-time for the project. Also I don't trust a coin with anonymous devs.

It's been almost 1 month since the faucet was closed and yet didn't make any big impact on the price even if it's listed on another exchange. I think the problem is not just the faucet but it's also the promoting and marketing strategy of the coin. Yes, price is stable to 1k+ because there are few dumpers now since the faucet was closed however the demand is not increasing so the price is not moving and its too boring. Indeed, its tech is great since instant and no transaction fee but it will lost its opportunity to shine if its lack in adaption. So what's the plan? Just develop and listed it with another exchange but will not make a big impact? Developing and listing sound interesting to promote it but it's not appealing to invest on the coin because of it and maybe instant and transaction free are not enough. Many of the new coins doesn't have a good wallet and only have 1 exchange but still price is rapidly increasing in just few weeks. It's been years and XRB still stuck at this price but I will still observing since some of you said that it's just a new beginning. Let's see until the 1st quarter next year. Hope there will be more supporters since I don't want this coin to be in vain. I challenge the devs and its supporters to make a quick progress and think another way how it will be appealing.

Raiblocks faucet, should be closed or not?

Developers will be decided its future on October 15. I wish they will make a correct move as this will be a great impact for the future of the coin. Yes, coin may have get a higher value if the faucet will be closed but it may also be the reason of going down the value. You can predict but no one knows what will happen in the future. So, is it really closing the faucet is the solution?

I'm seeing the faucet in a good situation now. There's just always people who really have a selfish and ignorant reasoning. This is not a big problem like bitcoin that is in front of destroying the reputation by the the big people.

What if they burn the remaining supply? Let me tell you this, is there any guarantee that the value will rise if the faucet was closed? I bet no. Isn't just wasting the resources? What if they closed the faucet and make the distribution using a mining rig? This is a nice faucet. However I wish that you can give us 15-20 satoshi per claim for our hard-work and to make your website interesting to others. When they do the math, they think that it's not worthy of their time. Let's say you can do 20 claims per minute or 1200 claims per hour, that's only 6000 satoshi for clicking an hour.
