Sorry but when I See the price of BTC rise from around $10 to $50 in a short period of time, accombied by the panic buying we've been seeing for a few weeks I get nervous, there has to be a pullback... This is sheer madness, I've practically cashed out completely.

BTC could end up $100 in a few days and I would have 'lost' a lot of money but I feel safe where I'm standing right now. Made a real nice profit either way.

Now, imagine if the Silk Road went down or was offline for a few months... What do you think would happen to the price of BTC?

I'm not buying, I had about $10k worth of Bitcoins @ 10 usd and I've been selling them off for Amazon gift cards since the price was $20 a btc, then $25 a btc etc.

Watching the price and fluctuation history, I think I've made a sizable return on my investment that I don't have a problem on 'losing' money when Bitcoin hit $50 earlier (and shortly retreated), I sold the rest out (yesterday and today - about another 5k worth).

This kind of fluctation and price increase is pure madness. And a lot of people are going to get burned, and a lot of people are going to make some money.

I'll play it safe. New iMac here I come.

If I sent you a non-lethal poison and a syringe, would you inject it?

It won't be fatal but I won't tell you the poison until once I watch you inject.

Willing to pay $2,000 in btc.

Is blockchain.info not legit? I was under the impression you could export your wallet and store it securely as well?

Thank you for the quick reply, another question I have is as follows:

* At what point are prices 'locked in'?
* What is the TA? In some threads it looks like they've been issues in regard to the speed in which coins have been shipped.

Thank you.

Thanks for the input guys - I'm scared of keeping my wallet online because of what I've read.

I'm going to try out Electrum... I dislike Java.

Hey all -

Wondering if anyone could recommend an easy 'newbie proof' BT client for Windows?

Right now, I'm looking at Multi-Bit. This seems like a good one.

I plan on selling networking hardware and other associated products for BitCoin, so get ready!
