I can name even two differences: Musk isn't in the prison and he didn't launch any crypto.

I don't think the Fed cares about the upcoming bears. Stimulus are created to help the national economy, not the crypto market stay alive.

I don't like when people compare Bitcoin to gold or call it digital gold. Both assets are to different to be competitors or substitutions.

If you use hot wallets, the best way to secure your funds is using non-custodial solutions like Ownr, ZenGo and BRD.

Re: Mycellium vs CoinBase?Whats the difference?
by
charlesmichel1
on 12/04/2021, 05:43:11 UTC
MyCelium is a wallet and coinbase is primarily an exchange. Coinbase can and will collect personal data about you, have certain level of control over your coins as well.

Coinbase also does not offer any sort of discounts for on chain transactions as well. MyCelium, though being less polished, still offers far more security as well as privacy.

There are two different apps - Coinbase (exchange) and Coinbase Wallet. The last one is Coinbase Wallet is a non-custodial product. So it doesn't keep any users data.

The mass cryptocurrency adoption is a sophisticated process. It must take a lot of time and efforts. And don't forget that some governments are against cryptocurrency usage. I really believe in Bitcoin's huge potential, but I'm not sure it will be something like the US dollar one day.

Are any of these dogmas valid in developed countries nowadays? Is it better to interpret it as working for yourself rather than making effort to advance other people´s agenda?
Maybe you are right, but I can't 100% agree. Some people are gifted liders, while the others are good doers. Working for oneself won't be suitable for all of us.

I don't like different compilations of the best wallets. Sometimes most popular and overrated wallets get status of "the best app", while new wallets are called nonames.
I use Ownr and Samourai, not sure they are the best.

The government won't replace fiat by any other form of money. The only thing they are going to replace by launching CBDCs is cash.
