Received my Jupiter today. One of the large fans in the back (not the heatsync fans) seems to just not work. Should I not be mining?

I was thinking to cancel my order and ask for a refund but I just realized that someone could be interested on it.

What I paid:
3,560.20$ Saturn + $3,795.00 Jupiter upgrade = 7,445.50$
Back in June I also spend 3 bitcoins back in june to get the day one production position in the queue (375$)
I also bought a CoolerMaster V1000 PSU for the device (190$)

The starting price is then 8000$ ~ 62 BTC

I live in The Netherlands in case that you want to pick up the package as soon as I get it. Otherwise we can probably deal with this. If you are not interested in the power supply let me know as well.

If nobody is interested I'll ask for a refund.

I have a day 1 US -> sent you a PM.

"Sorry sir or ma'am! For security reasons you must have at least 75 Facebook friends to sign in. We'll keep you posted as this adjusts. ×"

What a joke.

The friend limit is now lifted for you. Let me know when / if you sign in for your .02

Thanks doing signup now, btw you should add google+, twitter etc too. Not everyone uses facebook.

http://dingb.at/users/auth/facebook/callback?

Code:
We're sorry, but something went wrong.

seems somethimg wrong https

Was there a 'code' param with the querystring?

after the Questionmark was my FBAuth Number String, a very long one. but i guess its something off with https on your serverside

also get this on https  error 300

Code:
Sichere Verbindung: Schwerer Fehler (300)

https://dingb.at/users/auth/facebook/callback?code=jhbdsvjhbsdrjbvhjbvs

Will research this. Other users are signing up fine.

I dont think people will want to give you their facebook identity essentially giving up their anonymous nature associated with bitcoin

You may be right. Not a lot of signups so far Wink

That said - it's interesting to watch. I'm giving away .02 BTC that you can send to any bitcoin address.

So you're trying to get a bunch of privacy concerned bitcoin users...to give you their Facebook information? Pass.

Totally respect you passing sir!

Facebook has spent a good amount of resources studying to prevent fraudulent account signups. Piggybacking that technology for the time being allows Dingb.at to better identify real people & email addresses.

What dingb.at essentially gets back from Facebook: name, email, facebook uid, friend uids. The app checks the number of friends each user has in an attempt to ensure they're real. At anytime the dingb.at app can be unlinked / removed from a user's Facebook account.

Built a safe mobile-focused wallet service -> https://dingb.at

Spend, accept and transfer with no added fees. Forcing Facebook Login (for the time being) in order to limit fraudulent signups & identify users in the case of credit card chargebacks. We store no private keys or passwords. The site is essentially three small screens intended for mobile devices.

I'll give .02 BTC to the first 50 successful signups. I will add you to the beta testing email list which you can unsubscribe from at anytime.

Competition time!

We have a new challenge for you. We require a slogan for our controller board and we have 48 hours to make up our minds. You may remember we made a couple of minor mishaps with our Mars board. On our original Mars PCBs we printed: Bitcoins make the world go around! (Grammer is not our area of expertise, chip design is). So we have chosen to open this part of the design process to those following us on this forum. This is your chance to be immortalised in Bitcoin tech history. Please design the phrase you wish to see. There is still a space for one sentence on our boards. The 48 hours start now. Competition ends at 5.30pm (local time). We will decide the winning entrant which will then be seen on all our hardware; Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury.

Thanks,

KnCMiner team.

Fight Fight Fight FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

This is entertaining, and none of it matters, again, you either trust them, or you don't...I wish everyone would stop being armchair designers... I'm sure they know what their doing... You really think they would overlook wattage on connectors?

Bumping on good news -> good for KNC Smiley

No red flags.

I'm still unable to pay with PayPal. Sam has not responded to my emails. Seems like some of their payment scheduling plans backfired a tad. Hope it gets resolved.

Good luck Sam!

After a few calls with Mastercard and Paypal I was able to send the payment directly to KnC's Paypal email address. I was unable to use the 'Pay' button (from the order detail page) on the KnC site. Sent directly from within Paypal.
