If you don't have any smart contracts, blackbytes or any other private assets, simply backup the wallet seed. Uninstall the wallet. Remove the userfiles in %LocalAppData/Byteball and install again choosing light wallet. Then restore from seed.

Not yet. They said wallet unlock was planned for end of July, but seems like there's a small delay since not enough people swapped their tokens (so in my opinion price on exchanges wouldn't be right yet).
