anyone can tell how to set static ip addres?

Thanks

you can do it in two ways. one is to assign  an ip to your device in your network in your router, and the second is as in any linux distro... google it i don't remember exactly how ... you need to edit some files and reboot

Hi,

Since few updates I saw data on  field "miner program started" doesnt match with real data. For example, one rig has a reboot, appears (1) in status, but miner program started still stuck on few days ago.

same here!!!

Hello, just made again an update dowloading the script and everything went fine.

Im just supreised that claymore is still 10.2 or am i missing something?

just for info.
i have another rig with nvidia cards running on another mining distro and claymore was updated to 10.4 i had no problem since then from random reboots... stable as a rock...
dont know if that is the reason but it is the only thing changed..

Now that we are in power discussions, I have a question too.
Is it mandatory to connect the additional molex connectors on motherboard to psu?
All GPUs and risers get the powers directly from PSU so are they needed too?

if you are talking about asrock btc+ h110, in the manual it says that one od the two molex connectors need to be powered(i think closest to cpu). the other one can be  unpowered. there is a sata coneector too and no info about it in manual so i think it must be... i connected all three

Hello everyone.

I want just to say thanks to anyone who makes our lives easier with this great distro...

I noticed a problem/bug with the community build. it was working great on ast Fullzero release 1.4 and i'm talking about wi-fi networking. Yes i'm using one rig with wi fi for obvious resons, and it was working great (tp-link 722n - chipset rtl8801eu), but since i made the update to community build the wi fi after every restart just hangs, stops working. usb stick isnt recognized. if i take it out of usb and reconnect everything starts working.

any idea what could be or what to do. can anyone take a look. maybe some boot priority for usb drivers?

thx

Can you check and see if vbrick solution for his mouse works for you too or not ?

Hello just to inform you that the solution for usb mouse worked with usb wifi too. now everything works much smoother.

i  have a question.

Is there any way to mine BWK (bulwark) with nvoc?
thx

Ok, now i installed fullzero version and updated the image with your script but without the ubuntu updates. networking with wi fi works. it seems that it works becouse i just rewstarted 10 times and network is established with no problem...

it must be something with networking manager or power menagment with wifi...

Hello can somebody tell my why the community edition is changng my Coin that i want to mine all the time?

I put a "NO" in the autoswitch section.

thanks

I think you started rig with auto switch on and then edited 1bash.
Just stop auto switch

Code:
pkill -f 8wtm

thx for the quick reply.

Unfortunately thats not the case.... Rig isn't stable for now (OC testing ) so it restarted itself several times.... and still changing coins.... will investigate further...
