Re: Your investment strategy?
by
chetanvineeta
on 25/07/2018, 16:24:50 UTC
I just can't understand why no one knows this simple fact, if you can't trade or invest without making a loss, then you will not be able to invest and make profits. You might make some gains here and there as side income, but you're investing to make money, and lots of it. Very few know how to do this, if you don't buy at the ideal low, and don't sell at the ideal high, you will make very little and often end up with a loss. The best investment strategy is know what you are doing, and let the market come to you, if you chase the market your chance of loss goes off the charts. Money is difficult to make and easy to lose, help yourself and make it difficult to lose, which means setting your ideal entry and exit, then just wait and let it come to you. Over time you will perfect the strategy, or give it to someone who already knows, otherwise your money becomes the easy to lose type.

Re: Is it too late to invest in bitcoin? Is it a bubble?
by

I want to pitch in my two cents here, it definitely won’t be the last time people are asking this question about Bitcoin being a bubble. The answer is: nobody knows at this point. To say something is in a bubble, one must have some idea of the fundamental value of an asset. Even stock market bubbles are hard to spot before the fact where we do have fundamental benchmarks like the price/earnings ratio, etc. What would be the fundamental value of Bitcoin? We purely operate off the demand curve here. And the demand is based on our expectations that Bitcoin can become the next world currency or the next gold, change the world via block chain technology, create opportunities for everyone to participate in the new kind of decentralized economy.

Re: The future of crypto money

Today, crypto is at the stage of early development and attempts to introduce it into the masses, and tomorrow it will be a serious breakthrough in technology and control over currency circulation.

I completely agree with you, Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are here to stay. That’s the future. Instead the concern we should have is how blockchain technology might be used maliciously in this future.

Re: Can ethereum reach the top?

Ethereum does have the potential to reach bitcoin’s price, however this is unlikely. The supply of of Ethereum is much higher than bitcoin and therefore the market cap of Ethereum would have to be close to 10x that of bitcoin to reach the same price.

Yes obviously it's a right time depending upon the rapid rise of the prices of coins and introduction of new companies and projects. Make sure you do not invest large amount of your savings and manage the risk and gains well by diversifying your portfolio of cryptocurrencies.

Cryptocurrencies represent one of the newest, fastest growing and most intriguing asset classes around. With a rising curiosity among crypto enthusiasts, it is not surprising that more people are jumping on to the cryptocurrency bandwagon as part of their overall retirement portfolio despite its price volatility.

Here are three reasons why an increasing number of people are considering cryptocurrency as part of their retirement portfolios:
1. Diversification
2. Decentralised Nature
3. Long-Term Growth Potential

In conclusion, only you can answer the question of whether cryptocurrency is a smart investment for your personal retirement goals. In other words, to each, his own.

Regarding the investment size, start with an amount you can afford to lose. (i.e. : You do not need to pay your bills with it or your rent/mortgage).
Start with reading info on internet from various sources, read the pros and the cons.
Follow some excellent Youtubers
Read the whitepapers on the coins you want to invest in
Open an account on Coinbase/Bittrex and then buy various promising coins.
Buckle up and enjoy the ride
Reinvest the profits in more cryptocurrencies when they are low (or cash out)
HODL and chill

Yes it will, you just have to be patient. The prices go up and down every day. There are many people who are still skeptical about cryptocurrencies and many more with little to no knowledge who get scared off by any and all bad press. It’s best to buy when the prices are down and wait for it to go up again to cash out or be brave and keep it in there longer to possibly make bigger gains.

This question is exactly like asking if it's dangerous to take the chains off slaves.

It can be very dangerous... If you're a banker. The rest of us will do just fine

Re: What do you Think the True Value of Bitcoin Is?
by
chetanvineeta
on 19/07/2018, 16:36:34 UTC
Simply put, Bitcoins hold value because they can be used as money. Just like any other currency, Bitcoin value is greatly influenced by who uses the currency, how many users are using the currency, and how much of the specific currency is in circulation.

But unlike traditional fiat currencies, Bitcoins are not susceptible to the value of gold or silver, or authorities who decide how much money to print. Bitcoins are a product of pure mathematics and raw algorithmic calculations, and are only influenced by the amount of trust that its users put into the currency and how well it adapts to being used worldwide.

The merchants, business startups, and users determine the value of Bitcoin by choosing to use Bitcoin over other currencies. Simply put, the more people who choose to use Bitcoin as a form of payment, the greater the value of each Bitcoin will be.

Re: BITCOIN won't die, period.

Bitcoin has gathered a lot of value, however, very little of this value comes from economic activity (GDP) which is what would traditionally give a currency its value and stability.  Bitcoin is actually designed like a commodity (creation of Bitcoins was modeled after mining gold), and like other commodities, much of the value is derived from speculation of that commodity (not from its acceptance and usage to buy and sell goods).  Some major companies are announcing acceptance of Bitcoin, but at the moment, that likely drives more media attention than sales via Bitcoin.  Given the high ratio of accounts speculating to those actually transacting, the value of Bitcoin will continue to be quite volatile, rising and falling with speculation and could collapse quickly to a rather low value.  If more Bitcoin account holders use Bitcoins to buy and sell goods rather than to stockpile Bitcoins in a speculative fashion, then the value of a Bitcoin will become more stable.

Re: BITCOIN is FUTURE !!!

In my opinion, as well as according to experts, analytics and recent price index it is has a very bright future. It’s showing signs of mainstream adoption as more and more countries and companies are legalising and using it. Cryptocurrencies are very VERY tricky, since they’re virtual and online world isn’t as safe as we sometimes try to make it seem like.

Re: Bitcoin has really come back?
by

Bitcoin has never been gone. The only problem was the FED and the FUD, so people in particular are scared to invest. And this causes a big wave of fear anywhere around the world. Panic selling occurs everywhere and than the currency is stuck to its place where it is right now. But in overall its very very highly profitable if you understand these features and patterns. After all with bitcoin mostly its real people pomping and dumping.

Re: Digital money or virtual currency?
by
chetanvineeta
on 17/07/2018, 16:36:56 UTC
Virtual Currency is any currency that is not printed on paper or stamped into metal. It's virtual because it only exists in the virtual world. Virtual currency potentially can represent physical currency.

Digital currency is virtual currency that specifically exists in the digital space, meaning that it maps to some digital storage, likely a hard drive somewhere.

Cryptocurrency is both digital and virtual currency that is created based on some cryptographic algorithm (Sha-256, Scrypt, etc). No one "mints" this currency, they solve cryptographic algorithms using hardware and electricity to get the representation of one unit of value, typically called a "coin". Bitcoin, Litecoin, and altcoins are all cryptocurrencies.
