I don't know why I cannot find any email contact for Kanois but I just think it would be nice to have something there for people if they have questions or concerns. this hiding away is not a nice way to do business anyhow my username is willsha and I just started mining again after a year off and it's my third day, of course, I'm back with kano pool as it has been good for a number of reasons. so I just wanted to ask the administrator or boss or support, that I have not received a reward as of yet and I'm starting to wonder if there is something wrong with my account or if it was blocked due to not in use for a year or what?
I don't recall having even one issue when I was mining before so I hope it's going to be ok.

The dust will be paid out after I finish the new accounting, which still isn't finished.
thanx for the prompt reply, i am not concerned about dust, its just that ive forgotten how long was the wait for the first payment as i have just started again and its been three days, you could probably see the new worker working at 12th as we speak.
ps. its been a year since i had anything to do with all this so sorry if im breaking any rules by bolding the first msg post and forgetting this was the place to get in contact, lucky my hunch was right and i have found you guys again.

I`ve been searching and reading a lot, but cant find anything related to Batch 7, most of posts are for batch 8.
I have S7 B7 with September`s firmware. On Bitmain website available is December`s version-does anyone have any issues with the newest firmware? Does the newest firmware make any difference?
Another issue is loudness.
Did anyone change fans-any opinions.
Right now my fans are working on 60% -3960 and 3720 with average temp 62C but even they are in different part of house, behind locked door , still can hear them really loud.
should i lower fan speed percentage to make them quieter?
Does it make sens to put big pedestal fan -40cm to get extra cooling?

cut a 2 foot piece for the intake and use the long piece to direct heat to where you want.
if u turn down frequency u loose work, if u change fans it will get too hot and same thing or maybe fire!

...and they work great as a space heater - my R4B2 is in my bedroom keeping it a bit warmer and is quiet enough to sleep no problem. My R4B4 is actually a bit louder (8.7THs vs 8THs) so it's going off to be hosted for now.

any ways i ran the update a month ago when one of my fans died on my s7 antminer and everything was working fine at 575 frequency instead of the 700 so now i received these delta fans (Original Delta 12038 dual ball bearings 12cm violet fan 12V 3.9A TFC1212DE) so obviously the ampage is higher, so now i did an update again to the older one so it can use both the fans.
problem now is when i plug both the old fans they dont work but when i plug in both the new fans they go until the lights for network turn on then they both turn off. i dont let the case get hot so i then power it all off is this what they mean by brick?
i just unzipped the SD-S7-20151211-700.tar.gz update and placed the files(which also includes another zip file as well but i left that zipped as it was) on a 2gb micro sd card. inserting the sd card in the bb board turned it on, same thing runs fans till network kicks in the off with the fans so i pressed the hard reset button for 10 sec while sd was still in and nada same thing.
ps. also did most of these with out the network cable plugged in, cos otherwise the boards start hashing without fans and i get a very hot case and i dont want to die
is the issue with the io board or the bb u think?

the IO board for my S7 just stoped running the fans luckily i turned it off before it all exploded, the whole s7 was so hot, even the case was too hot at the touch.
after closer inspection the rest of the miner seems fine and working but it just does not turn on the FANS...

Has anyone bought and done some testing on the single fan batch? What were some of the results?
I bought a single fan unit. It seems to work very well. It is much lighter and a bit smaller than my s3's. I have it on its side so the heat sinks are pulled by gravity toward the chips. It is a little like a rocket, so that must be one powerful fan. Denser heat sink fins than older s7's. Loud, but don't know how it compares to other s7's. Stable at 700 MHz, and I think it's a little faster (GHs/s) than older s7's but I'm not sure. I'm a little worried about a single point failure on that single fan.
Does anyone know if s7's can support mining two pools at once?
can u please share some screen shots, what's the temps at?
and no I don't recon the s7 or any miner for that mater can mine from two pools at once but it can automatically start mining from the next pool if one is dead, just place the other accounts in the configuration.

i saw all the posts about supporting kano and why it was bad what the Chinese were doing so i came here to support kano so stop being so judgmental and rude! just asking a damn question!
im new to this like most of us and have only spent a couple of days with ghash.io when i got the miner and then with antpool and now here.
Sorry if that was taken as personal and rude... I have a melodramatic dark humor. I openly blame the New Jersey/Brits on my dads side of the family for that. Sticking the caps lock at the end and not noticing didn't help. Kano pays out per block, not once per day like some of the others.

my older brother is a brain surgeon and said i was wasting my time cos someone will hack this whole bitcoin stuff and i would of wasted my money and time but i do personally believe the world really needs crypto currency and will live for ever if china does not take over lol

i would tend to agree with everybody saying that, so where does that leave your miner?
you sure you not seeing it as $1 a payout instead of $1 a day?
other than that your S7 is hashing at below s5 N Avg speeds.

Arrived, unpacked, configured, runnning.
Without modification, you can not adapt a second fan. My S7 B16 is new, without dust, smells new and tastes new. Running like a charm after almost three hours in ambient temperature in my room at 65°C

CK and Kano do not have to lower their fees to get people to move here. Think about it...
How will the one's you want to move here KNOW the fees are lowered UNLESS someone gets the word out AND those people happen to navigate to a website giving them the words to get them to move?
Plenty will move here based on current stats and fees without lowering fees IF people will take the time to get the word out like myself, Phil, and MANY others have done in the past. Phil, created a couple of threads on the subject of moving. I sent out approximately 150 PM's to different users on bitcointalk.org to get people to move here. I'm quite certain several others have done the same.
The problem is getting people to move whom we cannot reach because they never navigate to bitcointalk.org or spend much time on any other websites with the news about CKPool.
