Anyone using Enermax Platimax 1500W power supplies? Got one lying around gathering dust and currently use an EVGA 1000W, EVGA 1300W and SilverStone 1200W power supplies running 8 S3's. Was thinking of switching 4 to the Platimax to save a bit energy as the power bill is quite big here in UK.

How is the noise level of an S2 compared to an S1/S3? Im trying to get an idea of what to expect for the S4. Thanks in Advance
I had 3 S3+ running off an EVGA 1300W PSU and would say the S2 was slightly noisier.
My 4 s3's are 'out for delivery' but I havn't paid the VAT yet (20%) Hopefully they'll deliver them with no import costs 
They wont. UPS will collect payment for VAT when delivery takes place. Ah
When my two S3s were delivered I had to pay £122.65 for import duty and UPS handling charge.
I had to pay DHL £153 for 3 batch 3 S3's.

So what's next, X15 or joining payments together from different algorithms and paying together as I still have a little dust lying over from scrypt mining I wouldn't mind converting to my x11/x13 payout.
I use a EVGA 1000W which runs 4 x 280X cards running X11 (16.5Mhash) and 1 x Nvidia 750Ti card running X13 (2Mash)

I can vouch for that as when I was picking up my A2BOX DPD pulled and and they loaded a shit load of boxes going in the van. Going to be a lot of happy miners

I played around with my mining PCs last night, and spent a good hour trying all sorts of settings on the single 280X machine. But I didn't change the TC, it has stayed at 8192, and the single 280X at 1100/1500 intensity 15 is getting 3.00 Mhash.
What different TCs are people using on 270X's and 280X's?

TC has no effect on x11 or x13 so pointless including it in your config

I switched from consumer energy to business energy.
Makes a difference of almost 400,- a year when mining with 2x A2Mini.
And the gas is a lot cheaper as well.

I worked out that A2 mini's is costing me somewhere in the region of £600 a year to run. For you to save 400 euros you you must be paying an absolute fortune in electric!

I wouldn't be in a rush to receive your order for a mini. I sent back my faulty one which they received on Friday and they have told me at least 5 working days for a replacement
