Try adjusting the voltages with MSI Afterburner beta version.  I was able to drop the voltage from 1200 to 800 on each core with my 7990.

unfortunately this isnt working for me .. i have a 64bit system.. and the beta is only available for 32bit systems ... and besides the gigabyte cards are locked... with the normal afterburner version i cant change the value for the corevoltage

No idea what you're talking about...i have a 64 bit system and am using the MSI afterburner beta just fine.  Gigabyte cards are notorious for their voltage locking.  But I'm not sure if they're actually locked on the 7990s.

Ok, so basically this new attack protection says to anyone with a significant hashrate, "Fuck you".  What about pools with large hashrates (large in comparison to the GLD network)?  There are two main pools for GLD that I can see, what happens if one of those pools bumps over 51%?  Will they go into the ban list noted in the pdf and be forbidden to solve new blocks?  Likewise, What if an individual with 49% of the coins hashrate quits mining GLD and leaves another person who had 27% of the network now with over 51%?  Will they get banned from solving new blocks as well?

After 0.7.1.3 upgrade I deleted my local files (my wallet was empty anyway) and redownloaded the blockchain so everything is clean. I assume I am on the right chain now. I still got the block my CPU miner has found, 328 confirmations, transaction ID: 714f5b1d58f99cdf65b7a319150613b26024accae594e10a1060000eb0c02365

Still cgminer is giving nothing but rejects. From what I read here I am not the only one with that problem. Anyone who got cgminer to mine properly and tells us the settings?
Maybe the new protection is somehow triggered on the higher hashrate the GPU miner produces?

You can always verify whether you're on the correct blockchain by referring to the block explorer: http://gld.cryptocoinexplorer.com/

In regards to mining, the window for mining blocks is small, in that sense its more of a lottery system now than who's got the largest hash-power. We are still monitoring the network for irregularities but have been unable to confirm any definitive problems at this time.

Please stayed tuned as the developers will be reporting after they've had the opportunity to analyze and discuss their findings.

How does your network remain secure without a large group of stable miners?  Why would a miner want to mine a coin without knowledge of the profitability of said currency?  Maybe you could reveal some more details into how the new 51% attack protection is actually a good implementation for the coin.  What is this new factor besides describing it as a lottery?

Hello guys,
Could anybody tell me, is ltc.instant-e.com real and trusted? I really need LTC online wallet.

cheers, thnx Smiley

I would suggest an exchange such as btc-e.com or cryptsy.com.  I've never heard of the website you linked.

I gotta say bitcoininformation that I hate that puzzle slider thing one must solve in order to get a payout.
Just when I just about have all the pieces in their proper places it either randomly shuffles them around
or it times out.   Angry

I have been avoiding your site recently due to the time it takes to get a payout...

I agree, an annoying puzzle and a captcha is too much for ~100 satoshi.

I have no personal grudge with you.  If you are not trolling everyone then how you interact with people is cringe worthy stuff.  You are the best bridge burner I've ever met.
