Create an account with one of the exchanges, I'd go for Bitstamp, get verified and you can transfer money from your back to buy Bitcoin.
thank you so much , that looks like the info I was look for . Smiley

Help needed to buy bitcoin

Firstly , I am not in the US .

I have cash in the bank ready to buy some bitcoin .

1 ) I have paypal , but that seems no good as I have no reputation ( is paypal ok to use as a buyer ?)

2)  is there anywhere I can deposit my cash safely so that when I see coin for sale at a price I would like to buy at , that I could easily make a trade ?  ( I would like to be ready if I see a sudden drop in the price ).

at the moment it just dosent seem easy for me to buy coin . I registered with coinbase and the likes , but they don't support banks outside the US .

Thanks Guys

yes I plan to do that soon ,  as soon as I get a bit of coin I will give it a try , it's just the first run is going to be a nit of a learning curve to try and find out exactly whats going on .

I have another question ( scenario )
let's say I have .5 bitcoin in my wallet and I need to send .25 bitcoin to someone .   then after I send the .25 bitcoin to the other person , do then need to move my remaining 2.5 bitcoin to another one of my paper wallet addresses for it to be protected ??
i read about private keys being vunerable after they have been used .

can somebody shed any light on it please

Regards

I am interested in buying a few bitcoin .
I read and viewed a lot of stuff on the web and decided a paper wallet is probably best for safe storage .
so I went through the steps and created a paper wallet , all offline of course .

so now I have it  , there is nothing inside it and it has never seen the network , so my question is can I view it , or will I only be able to view it once it has something in it ?

Re: Now that Bitcoin prices just plummeted, what will happen to difficulty adjustment

it could affect the pre-orders, now that bitcoin price is plummeting. I think many people pre-order at exorbitant cost new miners thinking btc price will contiinue skyrocketing. Now that the rocket has fallen, those who can cancel will do so.

Yep , I just ordered 1 day before it plummeted , and now I will not be sending my payment . I think its better to use the cash to buy coins . I had already looked at ROI and the amount of coin the miner could produce before it became unprofitable , and at the current rate , I could just buy the coins right now , and not have to worry about mining .

Just want to say hi , I am a newbie to the board , interested in all things bitcoin .

Been looking at the BTC price over the last hour and watched it climb 100 dollars . seems like it was just a flash crash .

ive been looking at making a purchase of a new 2th miner but was a bit put off today with the price of BTC falling , but it looks like it may still be worth it .
What do you guys think ??
