Re: 1% of Bitcoin dormant supply moved from long-term storage in November
by
chretienm
on 04/12/2020, 12:05:29 UTC
Ineresting, but like the folks mentioned it can be different reasons, in my opinion this movement shouldn't be dangerous to the bitcoin price cause there's been significant outflow from exchanges according to Glassnode data (https://twitter.com/glassnode/status/1250106545511292933) so investors prefer to store their BTC rather than trade. It maybe for security reasons.

It looks like we may see some big movements since 185 600 bitcoins ($3.6B) were transfered on blockchain from the addresses that hadn't been touched for 12 months. In my opinion it's a positive sign because there are a lot of positive news for Bitcoin with many big wallets entering the market, it could be them too who moved bitcoins from long-term storage. What do you think?

Re: Bitcoin arrives on Wall Street: S&P Dow Jones launching crypto indexes in 2021
by
chretienm
on 04/12/2020, 10:04:38 UTC
I don't think it's good news either, it's good news for greedy wolves of Wall street as they smell the profit and probably ready to promote shitcoins as a new kind of junk or penny stocks and then dump them.

In the latest big move to incorporate crypto by traditional finance, 550 coins will appear in the new indexes from next year. S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI), a joint venture between S&P Global, the CME Group and News Corp, will debut cryptocurrency indexes in 2021, it has confirmed. In a press release on Dec. 3, S&P Dow Jones Indices described Bitcoin and altcoins as an “emerging asset class.”

I think this is negative for bitcoin. I wonder what you guys think about this topic.

YES! This is NOT good news. Of the 550 coins to appear in those new indices, we all know that more than 99% of those cryptocurrencies are shitcoins.

Plus what would the Bitcoin POW index be composed of? It will be laughable.

People and their consent determine the value of certain asset, either it's bitcoin or anything else. Statoshi Nakomoto or whoever he is invented bitcoin as a new payment method, set a supply of 21 million, all others agreed to that and only after that the law of supply and demand come to play.

Re: UK has approved Covid Vaccine - Will you take it if you’re in UK?
by
chretienm
on 04/12/2020, 09:15:50 UTC
The first dose turns off your immune system, the second dose injects nano-chips(nano-dust) in your body.

to those wondering about the question over why a vaccine at:
full dose and a booster 3 weeks later at full dose
does not result in as good effect vs
half dose and a booster 3 weks later at full dose.

..
well its like a car with 'turbo' if the turbo only kicked in when the car was at full revvs the car would just give up and not want to go faster.
but when you set a turbo to kick in at half revs you get a true boost. which then helps your car achieve even greater speeds.
..
its like eating a full meal. and then trying to squeeze in a dessert. just leaves you feeling sluggish.
but if you have a light meal and then a big dessert. you are happy and more energised.

trying to stretch a system while its already at its peak. wont make it want to stretch further.
but letting it stretch while its still has potential makes it go beyond the first limit

try to run full speed in a 200m sprint.. your body wont like it and want to stop before you get to the finish
then try to jog for 100m then sprint the last half. you will get to the finish line in better condition

hope you now understand how real life works.

Re: Another big step to adoption bitcoin from VISA!

Great news! I think Mastercard and other competitors will follow this step.

Fintech company BlockFi became a partner with VISA to provide customers with Bitcoin reward besides cash or airline miles. In my opinoin this innovation will be wide spread among most payment systems.

The media is almost completely silent about China (a question why?), I have chinese friends who told me even in late summer that life is back to normal back then, no lockdowns or any bans on activities, nobody's talking about the virus or vaccine anymore.

Definitely not! And by the way, why did China recover without a vaccine? Why doesn't anybody talk about it?
This is a good one but, are you completely sure China has recovered completely. Maybe not the total population of infected cases but at least, to have reduced infection rate to the least minimum! If this be the case, then the necessity for a vaccine is very much questionable just as many still query the fact behind the Covid19 pandemic.

Vaccination is a very good thing and I won't advise anyone not to be vaccinated but, should it be that, the doubts on long term effect or a possibility of an after effect isn't confirmed following due procedure, then, I'm very much not taking any vaccination coupled with the fact that, vaccine immunity is just for a couple of months with regards to the Covid19 vaccines. Just not cool.

No way I can trust their vaccine. First suspicious fact is that there is no evidence the so called virus has been isolated, another big concern that vaccine takes years and tens of years to prove it's effectiveness and safety. It's not done or...if it's done then it means it was prepared long time ago and the whole covid hysteria was planned.

Re: [WTS] Cuban Havana Club Rum
by

on 02/12/2020, 08:11:33 UTC
What's the age of Anejo Especial?

*US to US only
Up for sale are two bottles of Havana Club Rum. Being subject to the embargo on Cuban goods, this rum is NOT available for retail purchase in the US. Pricing takes this into consideration.

Prices shown in USD. BTC price at point of purchase to be per preev.com
Pricing below includes shipping within continental US (I pack very well). If you buy both bottles, knock $10 off price.

Havana Club Añejo Especial: $85
A blended Cuban rum which has been aged in white oak barrels, imparting both colour and flavour. Cuban rums are generally lighter in style, and this particular spirit would make a stellar backbone to any rum cocktail.

https://imgbb.com/

Havana Club Añejo 3 Year Old: $100
Perhaps the most famour Havana Club product, this rum has been aged for three years in bourbon casks and then filtered, hence its colour.

Let me add my five cents to that: Don't trust any get-rich quick schemes on Telegram channels and chats, there are many impersonators with fake avatars who try to scam you. Don't trust any unknown person who may contact you and offer too good to be true deal.

Re: Are there any proof of covid are real?
by
chretienm
on 30/11/2020, 14:26:24 UTC
Many honest doctors speak out publicly and sign petitions but they are being shut up, mass media don't let them speak on main channels, they are all being censored. There was no any public discussion, many social media channels censor and don't let out any information(even though it's from Nobel prize doctors and scientists) which is not in line with official WHO position. They ban and remove channels and publications that they don't like. So much for freedom of speech, yeah sure...

The easy beginning of the answers to some of your questions, is to ask the real question that the thread title should ask. "Is there any proof that Covid is Covid?" Think about it.

Cool

Well, it's funny because I've seen the same argument about AIDS. As I said, I don't know much about viruses or medicine but I've seen people denying that AIDS is a result of a virus.

there have been thousands upon thousands of scientific procedures and all prove its real.
please stop getting your stupidity from conspiracy sites. - Except for one major thing. franky1 has been unable or unwilling to show us the part of even one scientific procedure that isolates the virus according to accepted standards, where there can be no contamination, and where the isolated virus was injected (as accepted standards require) into a bunch of test subjects, and they got sick from it, and the virus was re-isolated from each of them, and was found to be the same virus. Anybody can talk. Let's see the researchers doing the full process.

My question then is: how come most doctors don't speak out publicly against this deception? Are they all paid by Big Pharma? I find that hard to believe. There are only a few who contradict the official version.

Re: What is the biggest threat to Bitcoin?
by
chretienm
on 30/11/2020, 14:00:47 UTC
Agree, I also believe the biggest threat can be only from some prohibitive government regulations.

Right now in the crypto world, it is obvious that the name bitcoin needs no introduction but the biggest thread in bitcoin will face is being banned, some country really buy the idea of bitcoin and some don't ,so I think it's only threat is being banned.

Re: who are those real rich elite who invest in bitcoin ?

The real rich elite, the masters are are always in the shadow, they don't want curious peasants to know that they invested in bitcoin. Sometimes it becomes known, here is another example that rich families like Guggenheim plan to invest almost $500M in bitcoin. https://www.coindesk.com/guggenheim-fund-files-to-be-able-to-invest-up-to-almost-500m-in-bitcoin-through-gbtc

Re: Is Bitcoin at risk of regulation?
by
chretienm
on 30/11/2020, 12:40:03 UTC
I agree more with Stephan Livera that 2 types of bitcoin adoption may co-exist and yes I strongly believe the goverment will be stepping up control measures, so if bitcoin is accepted as payment it will be fully regulated and declared, but it also can be as a private asset to store value.

How do you see bitcoin evolving in a highly regulated environment? Will the government be able to take all control measures and ultimately make bitcoin centralized?

There is no proof that this so called "virus" exists, there is a scientific procedure to identify and isolate a virus, this has never been done. There is a lot of open information about absence of clear evidence even in WHO and CDC documents but not too many search for them. They just used to believe all the government say. It's a big world hoax, hospitals are empty, no death rising statistics. Even if you use your common sence you can ask: if the virus is so deadly does this piece of fabric really save my life? Complete nonsense. Their agent is total vaccination, depopulation and digital totalitarian state, Bill Gates is pretty clear about it and you cab find it in open sources too. Check World Economic Forum, they don't even hide their plans anymore. There are many doctors, virusologists signed petitions in many countries already against this scamdemic but mass media is silent as usual..

Re: If the banksters and governments held 90% of the Bitcoin supply, what now?
by
chretienm
on 27/11/2020, 09:36:46 UTC
That's what we can observe now, I don't understand why there is so much excitement about getting instututional giants and bankers into bitcoin. Better adoption, more money from institutional investors flowing in etc.yes it's all happening now but is it really good? Will everybody be happy to know that PayPal, Grayscale, Square, some Wall street banks and few greedy hedge funds control the rest of the supply and price?
Big question if the project failing or not, it's not clear yet but there are some worrysome signs.

Would it be fair enough to assume that the project has failed, or failing?

90% of Bitcoin being held by an oligarchy of the elite, a cartel of banks, and by governments working together might turn Bitcoin into their "playground".

Re: The ultimate Black Friday Sale

I have the same feeling, as soon as I see FOMO in the media and greed index goes off scale I smell some rektage for bulls imminent. Nothing can change human psychology even though it happens over and over again.
IMO the sale isn't over yet, there will some more bargains.

It seems to be like a black friday sale, until it drops further lol. I almost always get really skeptical when people on Reddit, Twitter, and Bitcointalk are overly bullish. Though of course, the dollar-cost averaging continues regardless.

An american investment company VanEck($49B AUM) is launching bitcoin exchange-traded note on German exchange Xetra.

More institutional money is flowing into bitcoin market with growing capitalization and adoption among the rich. Scarcity and high prices may soon become out of reach of the general public and may only be available to wealthy individuals or companies.
What do you think?

Re: Paypal bought up to 70% of all the newly mined bitcoin recently
by

on 25/11/2020, 14:08:54 UTC
Let's imagine that them and few other whales bought up all the supply and the price skyrocketed to $100k, then what? Are they gonna sell&buy it from each other? Bitcoin will become is a very expensive asset in the hands of the few, no mass adoption will ever happen. Maybe that's their plan who knows. There are many very rare earth elements which are much more expensive that gold or platinum so what? Not many know and use them.
