Another week, another update!

We have just released a new version of our Marketplace Demo with some changes as requested by the community, as well as some Quality-of-Life updates, and they are live right now so come and give them a try!

Here are the latest changes:

Inventory page:
- Users can now scroll through the inventory pages, allowing those with large inventories to see all their assets
- Selected items are now highlighted
- Items on the Marketplace are marked with an icon
- Users can filter their items by those currently for sale or not for sale
- More details for items which are currently on the Marketplace
- Users can now filter items by your chosen game
- Game logos and names have been added to the item overview boxes

So with these changes in place, we need you to come along and test them! The feedback we receive from our community is essential in helping us grow and to focus on the issues that may not arise during internal testing. The best place to let us know suggestions you think would be a great fit, features you would like to see added to GamerToken or any problems you may have, is in our active Telegram group here. Come on by and say hi, we are always on hand to chat GamerToken, gaming, blockchain, food, cats… anything!

Awesome job guys! The marketplace runs smooth and looks great. Excited to hear about new game integrations and partnerships.

Excited to be a part of this project! The gaming industry can really benefit from true digital scarcity and a developer supported marketplace. Imagine the possibilities when Epic Games can issue a legendary Ninja skin with only 1000 circulating supply after a big Fortnite tournament.

Hello Bitcointalk!

I'm a long time crypto evangelist working at the intersection of gaming and blockchain. I'm currently advising a gaming project that has recently launched their website, WP, social channels, and is beginning to ramp up their marketing.

They are interested in making an official ANN post, but accounts that don't have enough activity cannot embed pictures. I was hoping someone here would be willing to let us post under their name or if they have an extra account with decent karma we can discuss buying the account (assuming that not against the rules here). The project is www.gamertoken.com. Happy to dive into more detail if necessary. Thank you!

Or buy the Cooper pack.

Wow that's awesome I didn't know about this. Thanks!!

Dear Kurrent DEV team,

please communicate that you guys are well and still alive. This is a great project and all it needs is some feedback from the DEV team once in while to send this coin to the moon an get it going in volume!!!
We believe in this coin because it has huge potential but it needs some love from the developer team so we can invest in it! Wink

I would also love to the see this project get revitalized. Either by the current Dev team (If they're still working on it?) or a new team that wants to create a great privacy coin.

We think there's a lot of benefits from having your own coin that is specifically tailored for your ecosystem. It's worth the hassle for us.

Help with the Economics of a New Gaming Cryptocurrency

I'm creating a new coin that will be the currency used on my company's gaming website. The site will host weekly tournaments for popular games (league of legends, hearthstone, call of duty, etc). In addition to weekly events, there will be an arcade of mini games that cost a small amount to play competitively and give you a chance to earn some coin. There will also be an online store to purchase gaming cards and accessories. No credit cards accepted, just crypto.

What kind of supply schedule would be best for a coin that's used like this? (block time, coins per block, halving time) I don't want to put out too many coins too fast like Dogecoin did, but on the other hand we also expect rapid growth in the first year so supply should be somewhat front loaded. During the first 6 months, we hope to attract tens of thousands of unique players to the arcade and to our online tournaments and grow rapidly throughout our first 24 months. I know the whales on exchanges can make for a volatile trading environment, but it would be nice if we could devise a schedule that would encourage price stability, since it will be used for the same fixed fees daily, and also release them at the correct rate that grows the coin organically over time as more people start using them.
