Re: Selling within the Rules of PayPal

Surely this mean that any item sold with Paypal can be charged back no matter what it is??

yep. even better. even item delivered but buyer claim difference between item and description is enough to get money back.

easiest way...stay away from payhell.

Surely there must be an easy to produce item that cant be claimed back.

Like asking for a plain white png image 500x500, and a proved received confirmation of the image, with a description.

Then the buyer slices off a corner of that piece of paper, claims it is not as described, and wins disupte.
I love it, its like law school.
Its now their burden to prove that in which paypal will most likely say "Send it back for refund"
NOW, its on the buyer to prove THEIR burden that the SNAD not described item must proven delivery back to the sender. Mail comes back to your box. Do not open.
 -Decline it-

RUN to the post office if you already missed your mail carrier and get the delivery scan removed if recorded .  Its imperative that the delivery scan is NEVER made. Scamming buyer NEVER gets proof of delivery. Item rightfully returns to scamming buyer where it belongs

YES. But you have to stay within national boundaries and play it safe, US -> US. CA -> CA. I wouldnt play it International because it can bring in unknowns about a foreign countries postal service and they rarely relay information to the US's postal system although some do. There is a couple ways to secure paypal funds to your account and your correct, through physical delivery of goods. you must know the postal services options. Its pretty much like court. You have to have physical evidence proving item was delivered although since paypal is online/electronic they want electronic proof of delivery. This can be done through USPS Signature Confirmation which provides an online picture of the receivers signature  although many years of selling on ebay and using paypal I have found this NOT always true and sometimes a person can receive with a signature confirmation track able item and NOT give a signature. BTW: If you paid for signature service and its not provided YOU ARE entitled to a refund.
I dont always say this but getting on the phone with paypal always give you the upper hand for anything. Dont let them tell you otherwise. ALL customer service reps can directly access your account and + or - funds in a snap. you can convince them to do just about anything to help your cause. I've had to do this a time when a scumbag tries to scam me on ebay. Be nice and they will do anything for you!
Although if your dealing with a stolen account that would bring up a problem, I havent dont much research there but ebay has a program where they eat it when someone gets scammed under certain circumstances

Doesnt anyone here remember e-gold or learned from it or is everyone too young to remember the mass scamming and chaos that went on back in the mid 2000's with e-gold and exchanges. Bitcoin is a breath of fresh air for those scammers.
Its like deja vu ALL OVER AGAIN except with bitcoin now and the insane amount of alt coins

There is so much of this cryptocurreny mirrors the e-gold currency, HYIP investment scams of the last 10 yrs. Now, the altcoins are the new HYIPs and the exchanges are like the HYIP monitors that would advertise their buddies scam sites and rip you off. Fake stats and the whole shebang, exactly like the e-coin market we have now. So much is the same and
One thing that never changed= the scamming

Your likely to get scammed sending as a gift- We just had a user do multiple scams for 30 bucks. Your a huge target for half a coin
Sellers have to watch out for chargebacks. Now buyers have to watch out for un-trusted, newbie coin sellers giving you a "deal" if you send as gift.
They will all act as your best friend and buddy, respond to you asap and be there for you, up until the last minute they disappear.
You will try and do a chargeback/dispute and before you can login to your paypal account your money has been washed through 5 other stolen accounts and on its way to Nigeria with no recourse

You must be new here. The scams took hold a long time ago and now its nothing but wasteland of accusations and the scammers are your best buddy everything and more up until the last minute when they're gone. Thats why everyone is a little hard for anyone to believe around here. Most have stolen accounts of unsuspecting owner or mule accounts looking to unload the paypal money for a quick getaway

You have a good idea, its safe for you that does make sense but you are new and the older members here have seen nothing but scam every single day, they're not so trust, sorry.

Its a rip off to scammers looking to unload stolen accounts and cards. Anyone can get a fake ID and cards, stolen accounts. That seems why these new buy btc by credit/paypal are limited to 25 bucks or so. Hopefully a trust system can be implemented to purchase larger amounts

bullshit, get paypal on the phone or at least send a very good email. I've been on the phone with paypal/ebay a dozen times. You can get almost anything done by speaking directly to a person. They have complete control over your account

Yup thats the guy I have a few of those cars myself. They prove delivery of a physical object to minimize dispute risk but he still gets stolen accounts all the time. Thats why its $100 for first time. Takes 2 days in the mail. #1 paypal is risk, sending gift or not there is an insane amount of purchased stolen accounts trying to be dumped every single day and scammers looking for paypal for any amount before you can say dispute, the monies moved through 5 different accounts
make sure you read feedback even thats not proof. Be careful Your likely to get scammed here than ever get a reasonable exchange

with the lack of updates on the thread or twitter it is now clear

U.S. Customers are no longer able to use the service.
The US federal govt has caught up with them as it has with other currency companies

btcquick doesnt allow to purchase any bitcoin by stating the daily limit has been reached

So when this can be done? when btc is >> $1000?

whenever i login no matter what day or time it says that
its a bummer really, this service was great while it lasted

Currently BtcQuick is not accepting orders from US customers- no explanation. I'd think US customers make up most of the business, hell its operations is in Colorado, USA.
If this is anything like last time, I dont think we will see anymore bitcoin service from btcquick for a very long time
Hope I'm very very wrong

Yea, thats the common theme. Disappear after a price drop. And we were told multiple exchanges would be involved so running out wouldnt be a major problem. They had 2 months to work on it
