Re: Crypto replacing fiat?
by
chromosomes
on 25/11/2018, 16:17:34 UTC
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.
We are all hopeful about this way back but seeing the downfall of crypto's price made us hopeless about the issue. There's still a possibility though but it has decreased a lot to the point that there are only few people who are still faithful about crypto's ability. We can still uphold our hope about it but let us know our limits.

Re: LIFE GOES ON.

Looking at the present state of the market, it could be very disheartening. But one thing is certain is that blockchain technology has come to change our society. And Crytocurrency which runs on the blockchain will continue to wax stronger and stronger, stay above fear. Life surely goes on with or without the enemies of crypto.
We may have witnessed the biggest downfall of crypto from the past year and it was awful, we were all devastated about what happened. Even though such terrible things happened, we should still not give up on our faith with crypto. Patience is a virtue so maybe if we will wait, good karma will hit us back.

Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto
by

on 25/11/2018, 15:27:31 UTC
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

No matter how high the profit crypto is offering, you should never ever leave your regular job. As to what we all know, the value and stability of bitcoin and other crypto changes over time which means it wouldn't make you prosperous all the time. To avoid getting broke in terms of finances, you should stick with your regular job and do crypto at the same time.

Re: Philippines starting to accept and adopt cryptocurrency.
by

on 24/11/2018, 16:40:05 UTC
Cryptocurrency transactions has been on the rise in the philippines.

They are already accepted 5 cryptocurrency company in the country and approximately planning to give license for atleast 25 companies to operate in the philippines.

With the current government administration they are starting to adopt and build even in the technological infrastructure.

In more years to come the country will be more open to blockchain technology like japan and other countries.
We may see cryptocurrency emerging a lot in the Philippines but we cannot ignore the fact that it is still not legal nor illegal so the status of crypto in the country is still unstable. There are a lot of investors here already and the last thing the Philippine bank did was to release some precautions about the potential danger we may encounter while investing in crypto.

Re: Technology improves we work more.

on 24/11/2018, 16:26:51 UTC
The goal of technology was for everyone to have easier lives and work less. Well todays generations have it much tougher.  They are working for much lower wages and longer hours.  Its next to impossible for millenials to purchase a house on their own.  Something here itsn't right, Capitalism?
Well the revolution of the new era of technology will surely feel different for us as time passes by and we will consider it harder since we are used to doing things in an easier way. We may consider capitalisn as the root cause for all the trouble we are facing since most of the countries in the world right now abuse their power and make those who are in the low level of the society work hard to make them rich.

Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages
by
chromosomes
on 24/11/2018, 16:11:00 UTC
While browsing the net, I have stumbled on an interesting article were all the advantages and risks related to investing in Bitcoin have been laid down. An excellent, and informative read: http://cryptodetail.com/page/risks-of-investing-in-cryptocurrency
I think one of the main advantage bitcoin can give to you whilst investing on it is the possibility of high profit when the market grows again. The disadvantage is the risk you are going to have since the market has been falling down continuously for a long time already. Crypto's are unstable so don't be very surprised if you'll earn nothing or earn more, it depends on the status of the market as always.

Re: Decision in panic!

Have you ever take wrong decision when you were panic. share your experience
Panic comes when something unexpected happens negatively. If we are going to go out of control every time we experience panic, we are more likely to practice things that we would regret. Here in crypto, panic occurs when the value falls all of a sudden wherein those over worried investors sell their coins which ends up to regret as the coin's value increases all of a sudden.

Re: SHOULD BUY BITCOIN NOW? THE PRICE IS HIGH?
by
chromosomes
on 27/09/2018, 16:54:57 UTC
Please tell me your opinion?
The price of bitcoin now is very low compared to its price way back last year and buying is advisable for those who are willing to hold for a very long time. There's no definite time yet on when will bitcoin regain its composure but a lot of people are still hoping and believing that it would soon happen so everyone can benefit and regain what they've lost during the fall.

Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit?
by

on 27/09/2018, 16:40:09 UTC
Central bank Governor of Spain has told the cryptos bring more risk than the benefits to get. but I believe on more risk more gain theory. If you can not trust crypto, you will not be able to see its value. Risk is associated with all kinda business. It just has to be calculated properly that which one would be profitable for you.

please share your thoughts in favor of mine statement or against.
For all those experienced investors here in crypto, they can say that it imposes more risks than benefits indeed but that should not stop you from investing. You need to work harder so that you can surpass all those risks and get the reward you are aiming for. I think its all part of crypto, the risks, and we should live with it but we can study it to avoid or reduce the damage it may inflict to our investments.

Re: Will ETH recover?
by

on 27/09/2018, 16:07:21 UTC
Hello guys, what do you think about today’s situation with ETH? Will ETH recover, or soon altcoin number 1 is going to disappear?
Xrp just recently has taken over ethereum's spot as the second most expensive crypto. It may be a bad sign that is showing us that ethereum is slowly going down more and more each day. We should be alarmed and start strategizing our holdings to avoid further loss of money. I think there's still a chance that ethereum will recover, we just need to believe and have high hopes for it.

Re: Bounty hunters are a job?
by

on 27/09/2018, 15:56:32 UTC
Do you think bounty hunters are a job in your spare time, additional income or is it the main job and the main income of people?
I think bounty hunting can be considered as a job knowing that you get profit from it after working. Although you can already consider it as a job, you should not think of leaving a decent job just to focus on bounty hunting alond. You should atleast be practical and wise minded to know that there are no definite and assured profits from bounty hunting always.

Re: DO NOT SELL! JUST HODL - You've not loss any money if you haven't sold.

Bitcoin dipped to 7500$ and i think now it is danger zone could go to 3000$-4000$ again.
Good chance for newcomers, sorry for those who bought bitcoin at 18,000$ an 11,000$ Cheesy

What do you think? How low bitcoin can go?

Just hodl it
I agree. The history and the past happenings speaks itself that holding was indeed a very important thing for investors. If we are going to be careless and will practice panic selling whenever the value of bitcoin is low, then there is a higher probability of loosing much money as it rises sooner so always be smart with your decisions.

Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin?
by
chromosomes
on 27/09/2018, 15:25:48 UTC
The forum is full of topics - “When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $...”, “Why BTC is under $...?”, “Final bottom at $...”, “Why BTC is down again?”, “Bitcoin will rise again ?” etc. The last two topics may appear in various forms  a dozen times a day.
I looked at graph price of BTC out of curiosity. I have noted to the price floor:

2015 - $200+
2016 - $300+
2017 - $700+
2018 - $5000+

Do you see something frightening in it?

We all can see that price drops because of actions by a Governments and big whales. Because they have the means and opportunities. They want to break into the our market on advantageous terms for them. Okay, well, I mean, that makes sense. We knew it would happen. But why that have to affect us?

In December 2017, the most people said - "Why I didn't buy BTC for $500… for $1000… f#ck it!.. for $2000...", "I will definitely buy BTC if it costs $7k-6k!..". But now when the price drops so well for us, we see "The demand for BTC is dropping". Seriously?!

So, instead to take advantage of the situation, buy up coins and altcoins, attract new people in crypto world more active than before, a lot of people stuck in indecision and think whether crypto market falls to the bottom and stays there.

Guys, are you serious? Crypto world is made by us. Governments and big whales haven’t any tricks to rule our world. It will happen only if we do nothing.

What do you think about it?

It is simply because their profits depends on it. If they are going to be relentless and ignoring the price of bitcoin, then they are not going to be able to be strategic and smart with their investment. Being mindful of bitcoin's price is really important and we should always pay attention on it if we really want to gain much profit amidst the crisis occuring.

Re: What will you do with the current market?

on 27/09/2018, 15:01:11 UTC

Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or do nothing?
As to what the current market has right now, having a wise mind is very important or else you wouldn't be able to make money from crypto anymore. In my case, I am investing more and buying a lot of potential altcoins to hold up until the future to make plenty of money from it. Selling is not advisable right now since the value is so low you would only regret selling right now.

Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover?

We all know this year is one of the worst year of crypto, market is dead and new investors are in fear to enter,  My portfolio is 75% down as compare to January. How long this market will take time to recover?. I am stucked in holding.
We cannot really tell yet how long will it take for crypto to recover but if we are going to be mindful and always aware of what's happening in the market, we may strategize on how we can still earn from crypto amidst the crisis. We should always pay attention whenever there is a rise even a bit and stop thinking on when will it recover.

Re: Bitcoin after several years?
by

on 27/09/2018, 14:01:56 UTC
what do you think will happen on bitcoin after several years?
i expect that bitcoin will a more bigger continuities and maybe that we can use bitcoin currency in public like buying in a supermarket cause we alk know that technology in our world was growing in every second that's only what I'm thinking
what about your thoughts?

Due to the never ending crisis here in crypto, we cannot say anymore that there is an assurwnce that it will survive up until the future. If the governments around the world will continue restricting the use of crypto, it may lead to actual extinction and we really don't want that to happen or else many of us will suffer in financial terms.

Re: its not about how much you invested, its when you should invest?
by

on 05/09/2018, 17:17:11 UTC
kinda strange when investing in a volitile  market. you can spend 10,000 $ into the market in january and come out less. than what a person invested in april with 10,000 $.
I do believe in that, it is all about timing here. If you invest great amount of money during dumps, you will have higher chance of having higher money if pumps occur but if you did invest while the price is high, you might end up loosing some of your money. It is very important to find a good timing before entering or starting investing here in crypto so that you can make the most from it.

Considering the gap of the past price with the price right now of crypto, we can say that it would really take a very long time before it gets to fully recover. Maybe a two or more years will be needed but still who knows? Crypto is full of surprises and we might even end up waking up to a better price someday soon so let us not stop hoping for the best of crypto which is also for us.

Knowing that the prices of crypto's are very low right now, I wouldn't have the urge to sell out my holdings. I will keep on holding till the time comes that all of the crypto has already recovered. I would also start buying potential altcoins that is good for holding specially right now that the value is still low. I will be patient and faithful that things will get better soon.

Re: Still did not get bounty rewards?
by
chromosomes
on 30/08/2018, 16:27:39 UTC
Yes this is my questions among all bounty hunters. In my 4 months on doing bounty i campaign i have promoted 2 ICO's already and the first one still counting the stakes and still working on the distribution of the tokens. Some had receive already and i thought about receiving too but until now no tokens found in my digital wallet even after searching it on etherscan if there are relatively made a transaction to my digital wallet address and there is none. I have gave my effort and quality time for them to promote their project that includes also the resources being used like internet connection fee and the electricity are all wasted for the project i guess. I think this could be my last project to promote and if i still will not get any rewards then quitting is an option.
Joining bounty is a very risky thing to do knowing that there are no guarantees that you will get to earn the profit you want from the very first place and you might even get nothing if you are too undortunate. It is very important to choose a bounty smartly so that your time wouldn't be wasted on nonsense bounties.
