Re: Transferring BTC from Bittrex to Cryptsy

Hi, I sold some altcoins on Bittrex and have "sent" the BTC from bittrex to my Cryptsy account.   The amount (small about .1 BTC) shows reserved on my Bittrex account but hasn't made it to my Cryptsy account.   The status says pending.  Is that a sign that I might have cut and pasted my bitcoin address on crypsty incorrectly or is a 2 day wait not unusual (it should be!)?

Thanks

You did remember to confirm the withdrawal on bittrex, through their email link, right?

Usually for Cryptsy delays I get the exchange listing they sent it, just that Cryptsy takes seemingly forever to acknowledge receiving it. They did have some issues with their wallets and delays a week or two ago, but assumed they fixed that by now.

Worst case, open a ticket on Cryptsy. They are usually pretty good with responding to tickets, or at least have been for me.

You nailed it, duh on my part.  My first withdrawal on bittrex didn't check my email   Thanks!

Im amazed people sell below initial cost, why invest at all if not willing to hold for longer Huh

It's amazed me the last few days... the people selling so low.

I'd like to buy, what exchanges are up for NeosCoin?

Come on miners that's all my SHA-256 hash. Don't make me climb to 1002 alone!

At least tip me so I have more than 1 NEOS when we get there NgmyTeERXXucHYbZJ8FH3viuuZdAyjbEkQ  Grin

2TH more coming on tonight.

Ok, Ok, I'm back on with my measly 500 GHs, one of the ASICs on my Jupiter isn't working, can't complain, got it the first week of December and it's paid for itself many times over

Solo mining SHA256 altcoins with KNC Jupiter
by
chuckscap
on 28/07/2014, 23:25:12 UTC
Hi, I am trying to solo mine SHA256 altcoins with my KNC Jupiter.   I have successfully solo mined scrypt, x11, NIST5 using my GPU, but haven't had any luck solo mining with my Jupiter.  I have mined altcoins using pools with the Jupiter.   I'm guessing that the KNC cgminer software is set up for stratum only and as such I can't connect it directly to my wallet.   The error I'm getting is:

"Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid"

So the basics:   I'm doing what I normally do when GPU solo mining.  So using the infamous mazacoin as an example.

Step 1:  I have my mazacoin.conf file set up on my Windows 7 PC (IP 192.168.1.4)

rpcuser=user.1
rpcpassword=1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.1.2
rpcallowip=192.168.1.4
rpcport=12832
port=12835
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
addnode=70.52.108.12
addnode=208.107.133.151

Step 2:  I run mazacoin-qt.exe -s

Step 3:  logging onto my KNC Jupiter (192.168.1.2)  I run cgminer -o 192.168.1.4:12832 - u user.1 - p 1

I immediately get the "Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid"  error

Do I need to run bfgminer as a stratum to wallet translator?   If so, how do I do that?  Or am I just doing something really stupid.

Thanks!

Money can be made by quickly jumping on altcoins using SHA256.  It's getting harder now with everyone renting rigs though

I have 13.476 so far unconfirmed (which means zero so far) on the Genesis Foundation Pool.   Any idea how long it takes to get confirmed?   I started mining about 8:00 MST today

Dumb question.  I'm mining in a pool.  How do I get a receive address from the wallet to ask the pool to send my coins to?   Do I use the request payment and use the address it gives me?   Haven't used a wallet like this before

We're opening for testing. Limited # of coins to start with and we're open to suggestions on coins to add so long as they tend to be profitable.

BitcoinDark by xpool - BTCD Multipool

PROP reward system
BTCD Payouts
Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's
DDoS Protected
High Performance Backend
Simple setup and usage
0% Fees while in BETA
To mine:

How does it work?

xpool offers 3 different sets of coins to mine. SHA256, Scrypt and X11. Each algorithm runs on a shift. Currently there is no set interval as there needs to be enough found and confirmed blocks to make trading worthwhile on the exchanges. We don't want to finish a shift only to find out, the exchanges are going to eat up the payout in fees or limit the withdraw with a large minimum. The confirmed coins are traded throughout the duration of the shift automatically to maximize the profits from exchanging them into BTCD. Once enough confirmed blocked are accumulated, the shift is moved into "Trading" status while all the exchanged coins are calculated into BTCD and then queued for payment. Once all the coins are confirmed as successfully traded and exchanged, the BTCD payments are sent.

As the pool picks up more hashing speed and sufficient BTCD can be picked up from the exchanges, the shifts will be set to a schedule and payouts more frequent and less worry about the exchanges. This is a growing phase so the more hash support the better.
If a DRK block is found, there's no exchanging or loss of fees as it can simply be moved into the X11 payout queue.

The advantage of the pool is that you can utilize your older ASIC equipment to earn you the more desired BitcoinDark.
Cheers and Happy Hashing!

Donations welcome!

Any issues, please report them here or feel free to PM me, as I can't always see every post.

PoW is done and looks like people are moving over to the multipool. I encourage all ALGO's to come over. There are already 150+ BTCD queued to be sent tonight at the end of the shift.

At this rate, I hope we can have a shift complete every 24 hours and then you will get BTCD every 24 hours.

Cheers!

joined your pool this morning, when does the shift end and payouts happen?
