NO and never,
Im sure bitcoin price can stable at $220 above

$200/bitcoin is very cheap if you compare with mining cost

You need to factor in cost from a year ago when the difficulty was still low.

Re: Gambling experience - max negative times in row
by
cinder
on 12/05/2015, 04:19:13 UTC
I just testing martingale gambling method.

This is my experience:
After 2 days of gambling I collected 1500 Dogecoins
After 3 days of gambling I lost about 2000 Dogecoins

So I lost because, I have 20x negative times in row.
I expected about 18x or 19x.

Anyway, can anybody tell me what is max negative times in row?
Anybody have same expirience?

Martingale has proven to never work in the long term.

Re: relationship between Israel and Middle East

Israel is just a US watch dog in the middle east.
israel is america's boss not the other way around

Not hard to tell who is reaping the most benefit in this relationship. One is enjoying oil wealth because of petro dollar. Another one is constantly under attacked and its citizen live in fear.

USD is king in the deflationary cycle. You can scoop up assets at big discount when everything is going down the sink.

Re: Options for Securing your Bitcoin wallet

This is one long but very useful post.
I have a lot of reading and safety measures to take.

So far I have my wallet stored on off-line (never used) equipment and on usb.

Is that not safe enough?

Odd of both usb broken and equipment failed at the same time is small but non-zero.

Gold, 80%. Bitcoin for the other 20%.

Gold should only be treated as an insurance. If you expect the world to go down the sink, having lots of gold doesn't mean one will be well off as standard of living also gone down.

Re: No more rallies for a looong time
by
cinder
on 03/11/2014, 10:20:58 UTC
Remember when in May I said that there won't be any rally in the next few months? Now, seeing the price going down so much, I am CONFIDENT we won't see anything more than $400 in the next 6-8 months, even more.

Bitcoin is simply not traded anymore. Maybe it's used as currency, I don't know. But trading volume is insanely low.

Nothing, but nothing is gonna happen. Thing is, I know people sell at a loss to get out but that's only going to put even more downward pressure on the price Sad

Rally only comes when you least expected it. The condition for rally is actually quite high as the supply will start going down due to negative profit.

Re: Attitude toward daily Bitcoin price
by
cinder
on 21/10/2014, 14:45:52 UTC
I don't get the following:

People are like: 'I wish I bought Bitcoin when price was lower,' and: 'If it crashes to $100 I will go all-in.'
Then price goes down, those same people cry...

How's your attitude toward the daily bitcoin price?

I have no emotional feelings associated with the price. Also, I buy more bitcoin every other month.
I'm invested because I appreciate bitcoin and I see my investment become valuable at some point in time. Smiley
When the price is down I see it as an opportunity to invest at a more favorable price.

The problem is if the price crash to 100, the people screaming they will go all in will suddenly lose their balls to do so.

And now the Moolah website is having problems, but the last news I have was that they were basically out of reserves and they're going to basically sell everything. This from their Twitter at @moolah_io:

Quote
As there appears to be some confusion - we just want to clarify that @MintPalExchange is not closing.

And yeah, Twitter users who are also Mintpal users seem to be pissed too.

Moolah.io is going bankrupt. They are themselves all tangled up in all kinds of assets. Its pretty much get fucked time! Sad

yep. get rid of their fiat.. hide the bitcoin. claim bankruptcy and then ride it out for a few months while you hoard secret wealth

This happens to be the business plans of 99.9 percent of BTC companies.

Bitstamp and btc-e seem to be still making a great deal of money.

The US government's position has no legs at all in regards to any of this surveillance stuff. They get away with it because of apathy, because of lack of media attention, and because of "might is right".

The congress can simply change the law to make it legal to spy on American seeing the public has no bones.

Re: Why do most of FUD creators are newbies! Whats their plan?
by
cinder

I read a fud and I see them mostly newbies!

what do they gain? is it not logical that if they want to create a fud it would be more powerful if they are posted by a senior or hero member but they choose to create a  new account to create FEAR, UNCERTAINTY AND DOUBT posts.

This is one such among many

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=809370.0

Some are long time members creating new account to post garbage.

Re: will bitcoin hit under 200 usd this year ?

Coin trend is switching PoS and PoI type. As more coins enter the market, market cap will get spread to some lesser known coins.
