You can see quite a stack of DRGN (18M) and if you look at ethereum TX address did send 3.6k ETH to Dragonchain contract (https://etherscan.io/tx/0x7f2ac93bc61a7f3f6ee213cc32c64da9eed7aac346f14223a45773d9bbe9e6b2) and first TX to this address was 4K eth transfer from genesis ETH block: https://etherscan.io/tx/0x21054f3625b30dede36528364e95900b7ad0bbfefe45b09c27b63ae6fd84a4b1).

I'm seeing some weird comments regarding the dividends. AFAIK it will be distributed in ETH meaning the recent ETH surge that happened since ICO will actually mean the company holdings when converted in ETH is lower since a significant amount raised during original ICO was payed (and is still held) in BTC.

However it does mean the price of the tokens have now a higher floor in $ since market cap of all TaaS tokens should theoretically not be < to Net Asset Value of the fund.

Not sure why people are expecting high dividends or any dividends next August (unless one of the investments the TaaS team already made will have returned some ETH profit by then).

I have some issues with the windows client (similar to what other people have noticed).

I managed to ran it as Baritus advised by disconnecting my wifi. Then I tried adding nodes that I took from various places in this thread via the console addnode "IP" "add". However when I activated the wifi again, the software eventually crashed again and upon start-up all nodes I added via "addnode" console command disappeared. Is there any way to sync with DGC3.0 software?

Alternatively I got an old version (1.1) which doesn't crash upon startup when wifi is active but it doesn't have the "addnode" command available and therefore I can't sync either.

Any ideas how to sync successfully with either version?

Cfa : If you made any money with NEM, you wouldn't be living on this forum trying to get its value to drop down like a jealous child. In a way though, I personally like what you are doing because if you ever manage to make the value drop down with your FUD (which i doubt), then i can get some more stakes on this good project for cheaper.

I think the auction is a very good idea. It will be done not long before the release so it will be a very good advertising and allow the last people to get in before the madness.

It was announced a long time ago. The 4 million coin number was announced a long time ago. It is a long term plan and a very smart one. I think The only ones against it are greedy people that want instant gratification so they can dump more nem when it is officialy out and arrives on an exchange.

Well as far as I know MMC is still the only one with elected & paid by the blockchain positions. This can potentially allow the coin to evolve towards whatever direction its users want. ATM there is not much competition for the paid positions because of a low overall salary due to low MMC prices. But as soon as interest gather, the price should rise up and bring up a lot more competition and interesting ideas into the mix.

I think having a moderated thread is very important to keep a discussion focused on NEM facts/updates and not FUD. If the non-moderated thread serves no purpose and is left alone then it will disappear on its own.

Dude at this point, you are so frustrated you actually advertise more for nem than any other person ever did... I will let you have fun since i'm quite sure it's just making more people aware of NEM.

Edit: from your posts i see that you seem to hold some NXT. I guess if you are spreading fud that much it means that you are jealous you didn't get into the IPO or scared for some reason. NEM and NXT are not ennemies... They can co-exist without any problem and benefit each others. Just like they already do with NEM stakes trading on NXT's asset exchange. Calm down. Start being constructive for NXT (or/and NEM) instead of just focusing your attention on destroying NEM for no reason.

This IPO has nevere been a scam. Was actually one of the fairest IPO ever done for an crypto currency on bitcointalk. You can see a lot of work was done to filter out the sockpuppets. More than a 1000 people were veteran bitcointalk account and we can safely assume most people don't own two veterans bitcointalk account. I myself created an account just for signing up for nem's IPO since i never needed an account before that and i'm sure i wasn't the only one in the same situation. So NEM actually got people to sign up on this forum and I am sure introduced a few of people to the crypto world. Why would you bitch about that? It really gets tiresome to see people like you spreading FUD just because you dumped your stake like a child when it was at 18k Nxt. Be a man, get the fuck out or bring some argument that this was a scam.

The alpha is supposed to launch in a week. Can't you wait to see what is going to be available before saying it's a scam? Or would that make too much sense for you?

I do believe in a moderated thread as well. People should be able to see contributing posts without having to check several pages of trolling/turd posts. There is nothing wrong with a moderated thread. If it suits people maybe the admins can record deleted posts and reasons why so if someone asks, there is a little bit of transparency. We don't want peope thinking nem officers don't want to face accusations or anything. But at the end of the day we need this thread to be useful, positive and constructive. On a forum like bitcointalk i doubt it could happen without moderation.

Then again, of course criticism should always be welcome, as long as it isn't insulting or unjustified.

I'm glad to see that NEM is still on the right track and officers doing everything they can to have one of the best coins out there. Congrats to everybody whether you are a stakeholder or an officer, NEM still looks like the most promising project i have seen for a while!

I think the marketing has been lacking a little. Even with the current code Memorycoin is quite original and hasn't been rewarded for it. I think it got lost in that January craze of new coins. As soon as the price picks up and the officer's salary becomes noteworthy i'm sure people will get interested as well.

Hopefully a little bit more activity on bitcointalk forums will bring other smart people on board!
