I have done business with John K. and would recommend him. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=141672.0 . If you arrange and pay for it, I will go with it.

Side note, I wish that this forum actually had a good way to "make" people give feedback on deals. I have done several through this forum and simply don't have any feedback, though I've left some. Can we also agree to give each other feedback on conclusion of the deal? Smiley

I sent him a message here on the forums, and got an almost immediate response, looks like there was a hiccup with coinpayments.net and it had somehow invalidated my order. He says he will be shipping my order within a day or two.

Ordered some PCIe risers on December 9. Thus far, I have not received risers, nor responses to email messages or phoen calls (no voicemail, no answer). I know it's the holiday season, but so far I am not impressed.

Re: Help! Bounty - Help Me Get My Asicminer Cubes Running
by

.015btc bounty to whoever can help me get my asicminer cubes up and running.

I used dogie's guide and my hashrate never goes up past 4000mhs and drops off slowly to 0. Restart and it does the same thing...

How are you powering them? How many, how many cables, hubs, what brands, etc? We don't have enough information to help.

great piece of hardware Smiley

--avalon-options 115200:32:10:46:280 --bitburner-voltage 1360 --avalon-cutoff 63 --avalon-fan 80 --avalon-temp 55

i am happy Smiley

Confirmed, I am hitting 100GH with 2 boards using these settings. Well, I don't use the avalon-cutoff,fan or temp settings, just the --avalon-options and --bitburner-voltage.

Received my two boards, no physical defects that I can see. Hashing away at 96GH total (48GH/board) using

Code:
cgminer  --avalon-options 115200:64:10:d:270 --bitburner-voltage 1300

cgminer 3.6.4 on Debian Linux.

I have two boards due Thursday. I was figuring on using the USB ports, and thus didn't order the CANBUS cable. Should I have issues with USB ports, is there a place I can purchase appropriate cabling (that won't require another international shipment to USA)?

Well BTC/USD is out of control right now. Just nuts.

I'd suggest you price the miners in USD/Euro instead.

+1

everyone should put prices to USD/Euro since the high rise of btc exchange

Pretty sure that's one of the perks (for them) of putting prices in BTC. Just saying Smiley

You also might try grabbing software from this page and making sure you have proper firmware loaded: http://www.ztex.de/btcminer/

Try a different cable. How are you providing power? Are you sure it's getting enough? Swap everything out with one of your working units.
