[ANN] Mulierum | POW | GhostRider
by
ckai93
on 12/05/2025, 12:43:54 UTC

Mulierum is our first major blockchain project. It is basically a fork of Raptoreum, which was a fork from Dash, which was a fork from Bitcoin.

Why did we chose this fork ? Because of it’s mining algorithm first of all due to it’s capabilities to reject ASIC which are very known to consume a lot of power.

Our team believes that POW is more fair way of coin distribution.
But you can stake your coins just by making an internal transactions within your wallet.

Note: You don't need to send your coins to someone else wallet.

Thanks to staking with SmartNodes mechanism, you contribute to the security and decentralisation of the Blockchain network.
The higher the percentage of staked assets in the network, the more difficult it is to attack it.

In case you need help in deploying SmartNodes We have detailed document on our
website.

Our team believes SmartNodes is better than POS as all transactions are verified by
miner yet you can stake your coins without locking them.

The idea is simple: a coin that helps people earning assets while mining and staking using the Mulierum features.

Each Mined block offers 5000 Mulierums, from this

75% goes to the miner
20% goes to the smartnodes
5% goes to the developers to maintain the network.

The Mulierum blockchain has already integrated private wallets where the balance can be hidden directly from the wallet.
The smartnodes are accessible directly from the wallet as well.

CPU Friendly

GhostRider algorithm is both CPU/GPU Minable but CPU's are more efficient for mining Mulierum.

Smartnodes

Smartnodes are used to handle smart contracts, and provide 51% \ double spend protection. In addition this allows:

- Larger allowed contract size.
- Greater variety of programming languages can be used.
- Removes the scaling issues and large increase in gas tx fees.

after reading this thread, it's probably a good idea to just grab the deal i got offered:

3x RX 560 Sapphire Pulse 4GB

for about 400 USD total Grin

But yea, looking forward to the rumored Nvidia cards and Samsung ASICs. I'm pretty sure they're gonna be expensive AF and get snatched up before it hits the market like all those "Mining Variant" cards that everyone thinks that they're shitty. Cuz big mining farms don't care.

a few hours back pool shows that rig went offline but the miner still submit shares.
i've restarted the miner and still submit shares as usual but pool still doesn't show that.
been in touch with ethermine support but they insist that it wasn't a server side fault.

still not sure if it was a pool or miner issue but till then, i'll continue using claymore.

Had the same issue connected to the asia1.ethermine.org. Looks like the difficulty had been raised on that pool too?

Switched to the us server for now and it’s reporting as normal.

Be good to know if you hear anything back!
guess i'm not the only victim here. are u using -proto 2 for stratum proxy?
here's the reply I got from ethermine:

Quote
Hi XXXXXXX,

It is normal that some of our servers do not respond to ping requests.

Our initial investigation resulted that you where a victim of a so called BGP hijacking attack. The attacker was able to spoof the IP addresses of our mining server and redirect your hashrate to his own stratum server. If you look at your mining software log you will see that your miner was disconnected from our pool at the time the issue started. When it reconnected it was redirected to the attackers server. This can be seen by the work packages provided by the stratum server. While our stratum has a fixed difficulty of 4000MH the server from the attacker sent out work packages with a difficulty of 10000MH. For example:

Real work package: New job #9591c733 from asia1.ethermine.org:14444; diff: 4000MH
Attacker work package: New job #9538fa6e from asia1.ethermine.org:14444; diff: 10000MH

Furthermore our work package includes 4 parameters while the work package of the attacker included only 3 parameters:

Real work package: Received: {"id":5,"jsonrpc":"2.0","result":["0x9591c733c9eccdc842b361e699142278cfba5de5a17bf4a49d8a36de62a23f89","0x4e99a30e99712c8c6e292fe7ba6b27a37c7ced12e2ec7862f31fb676724cb404","0x0112e0be826d694b2e62d01511f12a6061fbaec8bc02357593e70e52ba","0x4e0e58"]}
Attacker work package: Received: {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":0,"result":["0x6facf1be3f19166290f14f39a8bef0ae7ec3f282fa7378f9f3a098f1bf1ce81f","0x4e99a30e99712c8c6e292fe7ba6b27a37c7ced12e2ec7862f31fb676724cb404","0x000000006df37f675ef6eadf5ab9a2072d44268d97df837e6748956e5c6c2116"]}

Unfortunately there is not much we can do from our side against such kind of attacks as the current Ethereum stratum protocol is neither encrypted nor authenticated. The only real solution to avoid this type of attack is to implement an encrypted and authenticated stratum protocol via SSL. We will be working together with the mining software developers to implement such a method.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this incident has caused.

so yea, for people using -proto 2 for stratum server, I would be super cautious about it. But since I have yet to see this kind of problem with Claymore, I'll be sticking with them as PhoenixMiner actually gave me lower or equal hash rates as compared to Claymore; plus I'm not that heavy of a miner even if there's a 1 mh/s bump per card.

another option to look at is at server psu. some are platinum rated and comes at usually 1000w+.
i'm just looking into those the other day and it was quite affordable in my area as compared to buying a new standard atx psu.

Good for now, isn't it? They actually send e-mails and confirm the payment Smiley great!

I'll keep you informed about each single event Wink

exactly, would like to know where u ship from, as that definitely impacts the total price
considering that u offer a 1 year warranty, which is likely not manufacturer warranty

what goes up must come down
yes, the split already happened and people are cashing out any profits from before
and also mind you that we hit the long term resistance line too, so a correction is in order
many technical analysis pointed out that there's a support at around the 5300-5400 level, so don't worry about it

Just received my card ytd
It was a GALAX GeForce GTX 1060 OC 6GB
Immediately regretted when I powered it up and saw that it was a Hynix RAM
Can't even manage to OC +500 mem cuz of instability
Only getting around 17 - 18 MH/s at +460 mem atm  Cry Cry Cry
Time to downgrade to GTX 970

what a joke
so much for the "mining card"
it costs the same as a normal 1060

the only thing it does is:
OC out of the box (only some brands)

it hashes the same as any 1060 gpu lol
source: a china mining chat group

some does say that there are some savings from the electricity tho

RX 560 and 550s are pretty much sold out in my region as well.
The price performance ratio is good for now but the only thing to consider is the bigger DAG files in the future, aka it's not future proof. But I rmb someone estimating that DAG won't go pass 4GB before 2018 Sept, so you have enough time to ROI.

also find this quite ridiculous  Angry
how are old transactions cheaper when btc was less inflated and there were less miners  Roll Eyes
if i'm not wrong, one of the aims of cryptos were to reduce to cost of transactions but now it's getting almost on par or even higher than traditional currency transaction fees. Huh
