Why password recovery does not work? and where is support link?
send me a pm.

Could you explain how to make the manual setting of difficulty work correctly? I tried the suffix on my username.workername_diff128 but nothing happened. I'm trying to get a scrypt asic miner to run at difficulty 128 as opposed to 2048, which appears to be the minimum for all my asic miners. Thanks.

Greetings,

Could Somebody From theblocksfactory.com Take A Moment To Explain Worker Difficulty On Your Site, Specifically Why I Can Never Get A Difficulty Less Than 2048 Even Though Your Worker Pages Say Minimum Difficulty Is 1 (I have tried the worker name _diffxxx suffix, didn't work) - My Question Stands For Both SHA256d And Scrypt Mining Hardware. Thank You.

Hi guys so i am mining DGB on scrypt and i found a block that says Value : 891DGB . but i only got 191DGB one my account . can someone please explain this ? Thanks !

891 is the total coins in the block - you only get 'em all if you're solo mining!!!!

Speaking of DGB scrypt mining - I've tried adding the _diffxxx suffix to the worker name (_diff128) but I don't ever see the difficulty drop below 2048. Any suggestions? I am using some older hardware (1x gridseed blade, and 4x gridseed orbs) and the problem is the orbs get valid shares so infrequently that the ACTIVE status switches to N quite often. I'm using bfgminer for the blade, and cpuminer for the orbs.

Issues with ispace.co.uk POS earnings and withdrawals

Anybody else have issues with coins deposited in ispace's POS pool?

1) All of a sudden (after 50 rounds) my BottleCaps coins have stopped making earnings. Blocks appear in the latest block list, but selecting them shows finder 'unknown' and no user name or reward list. This has been going on for four days now.

2) I went to withdraw some Beezer coins and my email to confirm the withdrawal has not shown up. I have confirmed the email account is working.

3) I have contacted the email address in the pools FAQ section, but no replies.

HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

UPDATE...
...they were in my Yahoo spam folder. Windows 10 mail client does not show the spam folder, only found them after checking web mail.

Did some extensive googling and burrowing through various forums and found out CPID validity problems are a side effect of missing key-pair information. If you transfer your wallet.dat file to a new computer with a fresh install of the Gridcoin wallet, make sure you take the .conf file with it from the %appdata% subfolder. This will contain the public and private key associated with your CPID and will satisfy the wallet software for the beacon you already sent from the previous install. Apparently you can have a beacon removed and send another (presumably this generates new keys) but so far it looks like my invalid CPID issue is resolved.

On-Topic..

What i see here is a glaring problem...

Then it's up to ALL OF YOU to use the f---ing thing.
Instead what i see is all of you sitting on your hands bitching at the dev saying he failed to get it adopted.

Exactly! How about creating a small ads. site like Craigslist, Backpage, etc. that strongly encourages all transactions to take place in Altcoin, or even has its own which you can maintain in an account? That would be cool. Does Newegg still accept Bitcoin? Doesn't look like it...

Perhaps as a social experiment, this could be tried...

Advertise an item of not insignificant value on Craigslist (or similar) but insist on payment by digital currency (besides Bitcoin). Now, this will have to be an item you can stand to lose or give away for next to nothing. For instance, I have a lawn mower in decent shape that is worth at least $125. I live in an apartment - so I do not want or need it. I will advertise it for sale for 10 LiteCoin and see what happens.

The point of this is to make just one more person aware of these currencies. The way I see it is that this is a closed subculture and these coins will not find their own markets because the general public is not aware of them, and does not have the time or patience for mining, exchanges, wallets, etc. If someone wants to buy my mower for LiteCoins, I will gladly accept it, or help them figure out how to do it.

The more of us that do this, the better. How can these coins gain in value if they are not in the realm of understanding of the general public as 'real' money?

Wouldn't it be nice if a small ads. site like CL created its' own cryptocurrency that you could trade with directly on the site, or peer to peer? The Craigcoin!

You might get a bit more joy if you post in the Altcoins Mining section...

I actually got moved to this section from Beginners/Help. Maybe the moderator can do it so I'm not double posting? Thanks for the reply though  Smiley

Looks like an investment group for Bitcoin related businesses and projects, not an actual coin itself. Interesting they are based in Canada - thought bitcoin was illegal there...?

Gridcoin Wallet a little mystifying...

I've been mining various coins since September with a high degree of success. SHA256 ASIC miners, GPU miners, CPU miners, Scrypt ASIC miners, 6 different pools, numerous wallets, etc. I've been impressed with how reliable the hardware and software has been - but then there's Gridcoin. I've been running BOINC projects since 2011 and it didn't take me long to figure out you don't get credit for that, however, I have had one 24 coin payout, but since then I always seem to be x hours from my next one. Also worth mentioning is that on the overview page it says my CPID is invalid whereas Diagnostics says it passes. Can anybody give a quick explanation of all that is taking place in the wallet - especially the bottom line that comes up in the overview page after the wallet has been open a while? Exp PPD, Act PPD, Fulf, GCR MagUnit???

My fundamental point I guess would be why does all the 'processing' take place seemingly within the wallet? Why isn't this wallet like the other -Qt wallets - just send me my coins for my work done and process all my work on the BOINC servers!

I currently have 12200 RAC, my interest constantly varies from 2 hours to 5 hours, POR always says 15 seconds. I added more computers doing 7 more tasks, and 2 more on my cellphone - still no reward. I am a Gridcoin team member for each project - SETI, Einstein, PrimeGrid.

UPDATE: Now getting on for 24 hours later, RAC has dropped to 12000 which means I've just lost 200 credit towards a potential coin payout I guess. Interest still at 5 hours, POR still at 15 secs. Keep in mind I run pretty much 24-7, 17 tasks, one laptop running 10 tasks simultaneously on an i7. Starting to think Gridcoin is a bit of a joke...

Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins + merged mining!

I've been using this pool for a few days now with good results, but by the looks of the above posts, it freezes every now and then - which appears to be the case right now. My scrypt miners quit accumulating shares and still show as active workers even though disconnected now. My SHA256 miners kept accumulating shares, but the confirmations and payouts stopped. Hopefully the site will be unjammed soon.
