Who is still in this and for how long is it mining? Do you want everyone to ask a refund? We are now 1 year further and still not mining? Thats sad. Had a long patience but blackarrow failed big on this. So I am also going for a refund gonna gather all data and pm the one in charge off that.

EDIT: PM'd for refund.

I asked thomas the same question a while back. His answer was that they wouldn't be mining and that I should PM bobsag3 for a refund. I did, but there has been no reaction from bobsag3  Angry

I have the same error resulting in the failure to send bitcoins. (running Windows 8.1 64 bit. Bitcoin Qt/Core upgraded and synced)
Is the cause and solution of this problem known ?

For me an upgrade solved it. Version 0.90 I think.

Didn't KnC always say Q1/Q2?
I don't really see what has changed, so I say keep it.

Her's a way to get a small "discount" when buying a Titan. If it is legit - but at least you can't really loose anything.

Hot dang!! Thats fast and it could end up faster.  Ok i think i am going to order a unit outside the group buy first.  We need more people in the groupbuy before the stock goes down!

Hi charles99.
If i get this right you are ordering this for yourself, not for the groupbuy, right?
When will you order one for the groupbuy - only after all shares have been sold?

KnC just announced that the Titan will be an 250 MH/s miner!

That made this a much better deal, but it also means that batch #1 will very likely be sold out quite soon.
If we can be sure to get a batch-1 miner I'd like to buy 4 more shares, so what do you think?

Hi,

maybe this is a bit off topic but did anyone get the stratum proxy running on any synology device ?
This would really help me further in safing electricity Wink

and for the bfgminer meanwhile there is a package for synology devices: https://bitbucket.org/polandj/synominer/

No, but why would you use that?
bfgminer already supports stratum, but maby you need it for something entirely different?

Still shares available!

Yes, it is a little strange that there isn't more interest. AFAICT it is one of the best Titan GB-deals available - but of course the groundless scam-accusations probably didn't help  Undecided
Have you considered also announcing this GB on reddit and some of the altcoin forums, such as litecointalk.org and altcointalk.org?
Maby that could kick up a little more interest :-)

Just got an email from TheWoodser, saying that we are mining.

That is great news!
But it looks like it is mining at 1.5 to 1.7 TH/s, which is less great.
Cointerra compensated batch-1 customers when their miners didn't reach the 2 TH/s they were supposed to.
They are still selling their miners as "2 TH/s miners".

Did the compensation for the lack in performance stop with the first batch?

PMd you back! And no, I have not purchased the miner yet. Lovely BTC decided to take a dump in the last day or two. I'll wait out a few days and hope for a bounce back before I make the purchase. I'll also try to catch BTC at it highest tomorrow morning (3AM PST).

And in a few days, when the btc rate is just as likely $400, you are still going to order it and cover the loss out of your own pocket, because:

I offer shares for sale, not really a group buy. I'll most likely pay the miner in full once we get half the shares spoken for.

And yes, this is more expensive then purchasing outright from them. Keep in mind the costs to setup and maintain a miner.  Cool

Right?

And even then I don't think it's ok for you to delay ordering our fully paid miner to speculate in the bitcoin rate going up because that may also delay delivery of the miner.

Hi waldohoover
I ought to have asked before buying a share, but what are we going to mine?
I would have preferred mining on one of the coin-switching pools paying out in btc, eg. wafflepool, but since you just asked me for an ltc address, your intention must be something else. Will we be mining litecoin directly?

Anyone think we should convert to a Scrypt Titan miner?  I personally dont.  just a thought.

Dont be fooled by the above poster charles99, its a scammer and not the GB leader.

I don't think so.
He's been posting in this thread as charles99 for a while. If he wasn't the same person I'm sure Charles999 would have objected, but take a look at previous posts in the thread and you will see why he hasn't.

HOWEVER, just another attack vector to consider (even if it doesn't exist today). Even if you don't see your original Transaction, AND you don't see the TxId/vout spending pair in another transaction on the network, STILL don't just go and directly refund the money to whoever complains that their transaction never showed up.

Maybe an attacker managed to really get your transaction excluded from the blockchain and is holding it back until after your refund. Maybe there is a new attack vector that nobody discovered yet. To be sure, instead re-spend the original Transaction(s) to your own account, wait for a whole bunch of confirmations, and then only re-initiate a new spending out. That way you're using the miners to go and validate on your behalf that everything is still fine with the world.

So in that case if an attacker DID manage to hold back or somehow mutate the transaction, he would now just be holding a double spend that will get rejected.

Correct. Or you can re-issue the exact same transaction. As long as you keep reusing the exact same transaction outputs only one of those identical transactions will ever make it into the blockchain.

They are complete morons. Don't know how the got my email address, but they just published it in a spam mail along with 500 other mail-addresses.
I certainly wouldn't trust them with any coins.
