I already invest in Ripple and am going to buy more in the near future. This is one of the most promising projects for the real economy, especially in the long run.

There are many good coins. Right now I would advise you to pay attention to ETH, TRX, BNB and ZIL. All these projects have strong teams and great prospects in the future but most importantly, that there are several very important events for each of these altcoins this month.

If you want to gift him a crypto for the future then I think it's better to choose Cardano (ADA). Ripple also has a huge potential but I don't like this coin because it's centralized.

If I had to choose only one coin for long term investment, I would choose Bitcoin. As for altcoins, I'd prefer to invest in altcoins that are in the top 15 of Coinmarketcap.
