In my option, the best Bitcoin wallet is the paper wallet, which stores your private key. I have not seen a better wallet yet Smiley

I think it’s the Blockchain, which makes Bitcoin valuable. In the Blockchain theory, the more compute power is used, the more valuable the Blockchain will be.

Re: Did Satoshi Nakamoto join GitHub?
by

I think it's just a fake account. Base on the commit history here[https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/commits/master], satoshi did not use Github to develop Bitcoin.

It's more importance to point out the reason about this prediction.

As a guess, I think it's base on bitcoin will replace the whole money circulation, which is around $36.8 trillion at the moment.

Instead of Proof of Stake, I would like to vote for Proof of Work. It is not only for creating blocks, but also for making consensus, which is a great advantage.

Hi, I found there is very good blockchain resource in the Bitcoin.org website. Please have a look (https://bitcoin.org/en/resources)

Another good training I would like to recommend is Jimmy Song's Programming Blockchain Seminar. It's a paid training, but is definitely worth. (http://programmingblockchain.com)

I'm not posting ads. Please have a check by yourself.  Cheesy

Lightning Network maybe centralize, and is opposed to the Bitcoin decentralized design. I hope the bitcoin core team can implement it as decentralized.

It's good to have Bitcoin in the investment portfolio. If one thousand can make one million, one million can make one billion. So, why not?

Re: Facebook & Google creating its own Crpytocurrency!

when a company, or similarly a country, a bank, a financial firm,.... creates a new coin based on bitcoin using the blockchain technology, they are always creating a centralized token and that is a creating huge difference. it may seem like nothing in words but in reality the difference between bitcoin being decentralized and global without any kind of restrictions regarding usage whatsoever and a centralized token that a company issues is a huge one.

they can try and make their own version and many of them are doing it, but in the end it will be just another altcoin in  a sea of altcoins.
Can't agree more. In fact, Bitcoin's blockchain is training now, it runs quite well. Don't worrying about the price dip.

Re: BCX to replace Ripple?
by
cloud.runner
on 13/01/2018, 05:58:18 UTC
Do you know what ripple is and how transactions are made? Ripple is a full node for XRP, The one and only node with access to the source code. XRP holders could never do anything to verify their coins authenticity.
BCX is a different coin, You meant replacing ripple in market, 5% premined, simple page with content copied from other projects, They don't have anything on their own Cheesy Just using bitcoin name for the same reason other forks used it.
"simple page with content copied from other projects"
Do you have evidence about this?

Based on the current price in $0.079260, its market capital is 166.446B, which already passes Litecoin's. It is crazy, right?
